Construction of 3D porous Cu_(1.81)S/nitrogen-doped carbon frameworks for ultrafast and long-cycle life sodium-ion storage

Transition metal sulfides have great potential as anode mterials for sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)due to their high theoretical specific ***,the inferior intrinsic conductivity and large volume variation during sodiation-desodiation processes seriously affect its high-rate and long-cyde performance,unbeneficial for the application as fast-charging and long-cycling SIBs ***,the three-dimensional porous Cu_(1.81)S/nitrogen-doped carbon frameworks(Cu_(1.81)S/NC)are synthesized by the simple and facile sol-gel and annealing processes,which can accommodate the volumetric expansion of Cu_(1.81)S nanoparticles and accelerate the transmission of ions and electrons during Na^(+)insertion/extraction processes,exhibiting the excellent rate capability(250.6 mA·g^(-1)at 20.0 A·g^(-1))and outstanding cycling stability(70% capacity retention for 6000 cycles at 10.0 A·g^(-1))for ***,the Na-ion full cells coupled with Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)/C cathode also demonstrate the satisfactory reversible specific capacity of 330.5 mAh·g^(-1)at 5.0 A·g^(-1)and long-cycle performance with the 86.9% capacity retention at 2.0 A·g^(-1)after 750 *** work proposes a promising way for the conversionbased metal sulfides for the applications as fast-charging sodium-ion battery anode.

This introduction hopes to make clear how simple and rewarding it is to teach (yourself or others) English by writing poems. There are two big surprises in any poetry workshop course. The students are sure it is impossible for them to write poems, especially in English. And the language teacher feels totally inadequate to run such a course, assuming it is impossible without a great deal of academic information about literature, especially English literature. Just try it once (you can choose one of the exercises suggested at the end of this book) and if you are not pleasantly surprised, then I will eat my words and walk the length of the Great Wall (both ways)! [HJ]The explanation about how to run a poetry workshop takes up some three pages. The rest of the book is made up of poems which illustrate the delightful results you can expect to get when you ask your students to do the same thing. The poems are written by graduates but the same exercises can be used as fruitfully in schools as in colleges. If the students know only some simple English words, let them write some simple English poems. Those who know only Chinese should write their poems in Chinese. It could even be the best part of their education. [HJ]

Dynamics of the reaction of O with H_2 and its isotopic variants in different rotational excited states

Scalar properties and vector correlations of the reactions of O＋H2 →OH＋H, O＋HD→OH＋D, O＋DH→OD＋H, and O＋D2 -＋OD＋D at collision energies of 25 and 34.6 kcal/mole have been studied via the quasi-classical-trajectory （QCT） method based on a BMS1 potential energy surface （PES）. The generalized polarization-dependent differential cross section and the distributions of the dihedral angle at the collision energy of 34.6 kacl/mole are presented. The calculated results indicate that both the reagent rotational angular momentum and the mass factor have a significant influence on the scalar properties and vector correlations of the title reactions.

Accurate Analysis of Connectivity and Resilience for a Class of Wireless Sensor Networks

Increasing attention is being devoted to network security with the extensive application of wireless sensor networks in various fields. Connectivity and resilience are the crucial metrics of network *** establish precise formulas for obtaining the resilience of a Key predistribution scheme(KPS) obtained from an Orthogonal array(OA). We study the connectivity and resilience of the Broadcast-enhanced key predistribution scheme(BEKPS) based on OAs and improve the existing methods. We also present precise formulas for evaluating the resilience of these schemes based on any number of partitions, completely solving the problem regarding the resilience of this type of BEKPS. We obtain precise formulas for ensuring the connectivity of two partitions under the condition that each pair of trees from different partitions intersects at exactly one node. We present a general approximate formula for evaluating the connectivity of more than two partitions, providing a positive solution to the open problem in Kendall et al.’s paper in ACM Transactions on Sensor Networks(Vol.11,No.1, 2014). Thus, we can conclude that for this type of BEKPS, connectivity increases, whereas resilience remains unchanged as the number of partitions increases. A comparison of the obtained results and the previously reported results reveals the superior performance of the proposed BEKPSs.

Binding energies of near proton-drip line Z = 22-28 isotopes determined from measured isotopic cross section distributions

A new method is proposed to determine the binding energy(B)of near proton-drip line isotopes from isotopic cross section *** determine B of Z=22-28 isotopes(with T_z=-2 and-5/2),the lack of cross sections for proton-rich isotopes in the 345A MeV^(78)Kr+~9Be is overcome by predicting the proton-rich isotopes from a newly discovered scaling phenomenon found in the proton-rich isotopes measured in the 140A MeV^(40,48)Ca(^(58,64)Ni)+~9Be *** cross sections for proton-rich isotopes are verified to exponentially depend on the average binding energy per nucleon,based on which B of the Z=22-28 isotopes with T_z=-2 and-5/2 are determined from cross *** determined B of the isotopes are justified from obeying the scaling phenomenon of the difference between the mass of mirror *** cross sections for the Z=22-28 isotopes with T_z=-1 and-3/2,which in potential can be experimentally studied in mass storage ring,are also predicted.

Quantum stereodynamics study for the reaction F + HD

This paper studies the quantum stereodynamics of the F ＋ HD（v = 0, j = 0）→ HD ＋ F/HF ＋ D reaction at the collision energies of 0.52 and 0.87 kcal/mol. The quantum scattering calculations, based on Stark-Werner potential energy surfaces, show that the differential cross sections for the HF（v′= 2）＋ D and DF（v′= 3）＋H channels are consistent with the recent theoretical results. Furthermore, the product rotational angular momentum orientation and alignment have been determined for some selected rovibrational states of the HF＋ D and DF＋ H channels.

Application of Orthogonal Array and Walsh Transform in Resilient Function

The relationship between Walsh transform of a Boolean function and the orthogonality of some columns of its support table is investigated. This result improves the characterization of the orthogonality of Orthogonal array(OA). Stinson and Massey gave two construction methods of linear resilient functions, one is to use linear code, the other is to utilize the large set of orthogonal arrays and right cosets. And another major contribution is to show the equivalence of two methods.

Construction of Generalized Quantum Boolean Functions

The existing construction methods of Quantum Boolean functions(QBFs) are extended and simplified. All QBFs with one qubit and all local QBFs with any qubits are constructed. And we propose the concept of Generalized quantum Boolean functions(GQBFs). We find all GQBFs with one qutrit and all kinds of local GQBFs with any qutrits. The number of each of the four kinds of functions above is uncountably infinitely many. By using diagonal matrices, we obtain uncountably infinitely many non-local QBFs with any qubits and GQBFs with any qutrits. Infinitely many families of GQBFs with any qudits are obtained from the properties of projection matrices of known saturated orthogonal arrays.

Structures of Pt clusters on graphene doped with nitrogen,boron,and silicon:a theoretical study

The structures of Pt clusters on nitrogen-, boron-,silicon- doped graphenes are theoretically studied using densityfunctional theory. These dopants （nitrogen, boron and silicon） each do not induce a local curvature in the graphene and the doped graphenes all retain their planar form. The formation energy of the silicon-graphene system is lower than those of the nitrogen-, boron-doped graphenes, indicating that the silicon atom is easier to incorporate into the graphene. All the substitutional impurities enhance the interaction between the Pt atom and the graphene. The adsorption energy of a Pt adsorbed on the silicon-doped graphene is much higher than those on the nitrogen-and boron-doped graphenes. The doped silicon atom can provide more charges to enhance the Pt-graphene interaction and the formation of Pt clusters each with a large size. The stable structures of Pt clusters on the doped-graphenes are dimeric, triangle and tetrahedron with the increase of the Pt coverage. Of all the studied structures, the tetrahedron is the most stable cluster which has the least influence on the olanar surface of doned-graohene.
