Environmental factors,including chemical/physical pollutants,as well as lifestyle and psychological factors,contribute greatly to the pathways leading to cardiometabolic diseases with a heavy disease burden and economic loss.The concept of exposomes provides a novel paradigm for combining all exposure characteristics to evaluate disease risk.A solution-like exposome requires technological support to provide continuous data to monitor vital signs and detect abnormal fluctuations.Wearable devices allow people to conveniently monitor signals during their daily routines.These new technologies empower users to more actively prevent and manage cardiometabolic disease by reviewing risk factors of the disease,especially lifestyle factors,such as sleeping time,screen time,and mental health condition.Devices with multiple sensors can monitor electrocardiography data,oxygen saturation,intraocular pressure,respiratory rate,and heart rate to enhance the exposome study and provide precise suggestions for disease prevention and management.

Introduction:Community-based services for psychosis are an important part of mental health services in China.We analyzed community-based follow-up and treatment services for psychosis in China in 2019 to provide evidence for policymaking and services delivering.Methods:Data from the National Information System for Psychosis were used to analyze usage of the information system and the registration,management,and treatment situation of patients with psychosis in China in 2019 and compared the results of 2019 with that of 2018.Results:In 2019,100%of cities and counties used the information system and 6,230,157 patients were registered.In 2019,there were 5,944,724 registered patients(94.05%)in China under community-based follow-up services and 5,375,252 patients(85.04%)had regular follow-ups;5,295,657 patients(83.78%)were treated by taking antipsychotics and 3,354,251(53.07%)patients took medication regularly;4,974,314 patients at home(87.81%)were in stable condition;and there was a significant difference in patients’stable condition and medication-taking rates among eastern,central,and western regions(phealth Practice:Compared with 2018,the level of management and treatment improved significantly but still needs to be further strengthened,especially in western China.

Background:Exposure to adverse experiences in early life may profoundly reshape the neurodevelopmental trajectories of the brain and lead to long-lasting behavioral and neural alterations.One deleterious effect of early-life stress that manifests in later life is sleep disturbance,but this has not been examined in aged mice and the underlying neural mechanisms remain unknown.Considering the important role of the nucleus accumbens (NAc) in the sleep-wake regulation,this study aimed to assess the effects of early-life stress on the sleep behaviors in aged mice and the potential involvement of the NAc in stress-induced sleep abnormalities.Methods:Twenty aged male C57BL/6 mice (>16 months,n =10 per group) were used in this study.During post-natal days 2 to 9,dams were provided with either sufficient (control) or a limited nesting and bedding materials (stressed).When the mice were 16 to 17 months old,their sleep-wake behaviors were recorded over 24 h using electroencephalogram and electromyelogram.The amount of each sleep-wake stage,mean duration,and stage transition was analyzed.Then,five animals were randomly chosen from each group and were used to measure the expression levels of vesicular glutamate transporter-1 (VGluT1) and vesicular transporters of γ-aminobutyric acid (VGAT) in the NAc using immunohistochemistry.Group comparisons were carried out using Student t test or analysis of variances when appropriate.Results:Compared with the control mice,the early-life stressed aged mice spent less time awake over 24 h (697.97 ± 77.47 min vs.631.33 ± 34.73 min,t17 =2.376,P =0.030),accordingly,non-rapid eye movement sleep time was increased (667.37 ± 62.07 min vs.723.54 ± 39.21 min,t17 =2.326,P =0.033) and mean duration of rapid eye movement sleep was prolonged (73.00 ± 8.98 min vs.89.39 ± 12.69 min,t17 =3.277,P =0.004).Meanwhile,we observed decreased VGluT1/VGAT ratios in the NAc in the stressed group (F(1,16) =81.04,P < 0.001).Conclusion:Early adverse experiences disrupt sleep behaviors in aged mice,which might be ass

INTRODUCTION There are many obstacles to developing,maintaining and strengthening international research collaborations,whether they are posed by geography,culture or,most recently,global economics and politics.It is critically important to overcome these obstacles,especially when it comes to fostering the types of breakthrough biomedical science that benefit from diverse perspectives,methodologies and data sets.Moreover,the research underlying these breakthroughs unfolds over the course of years,and even decades.For these reasons,and more,the Department of Psychiatry at Massachusetts General hospital(Mass General)and the Shanghai mental health Center(SMHC)are taking the long view:exploring and implementing numerous collaborative research and training projects that are leading to better care and treatments for patients,both in the USA and China,who suffer from a range of psychiatric disorders.

Background:Anorexia nervosa(AN)is a psychological disorder,which is characterized by the misunderstanding of body image,food restriction,and low body weight.An increasing number of studies have reported that the pathophysiological mechanism of AN might be associated with the dysbiosis of gut microbiota.The purpose of our study was to explore the features of gut microbiota in patients with AN,hoping to provide valuable information on its pathogenesis and treatment.Methods:In this cross-sectional study,from August 2020 to June 2021,patients with AN who were admitted into Peking University Third hospital and Peking University Sixth hospital(n=30)were recruited as the AN group,and healthy controls(HC)were recruited from a middle school and a university in Beijing(n=30).Demographic data,Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)scores of the two groups,and length of stay of the AN group were recorded.Microbial diversity analysis of gut microbiota in stool samples from the two groups was analyzed by 16S ribosomal RNA(rRNA)gene sequencing.Results:The weight(AN vs.HC,[39.31±7.90]kg vs.[56.47±8.88]kg,P<0.001)and body mass index(BMI,AN vs.HC,[14.92±2.54]kg/m^(2)vs.[20.89±2.14]kg/m^(2),P<0.001)of patients with AN were statistically significantly lower than those of HC,and HAMD scores in AN group were statistically significantly higher than those of HC.For alpha diversity,there were no statistically significant differences between the two groups;for beta diversity,the two groups differed obviously regarding community composition.Compared to HC,the proportion of Lachnospiraceae in patients with AN was statistically significantly higher(AN vs.HC,40.50%vs.31.21%,Z=-1.981,P=0.048),while that of Ruminococcaceae was lower(AN vs.HC,12.17%vs.19.15%,Z=-2.728,P=0.007);the proportion of Faecalibacterium(AN vs.HC,3.97%vs.9.40%,Z=-3.638,P<0.001)and Subdoligranulum(AN vs.HC,4.60%vs.7.02%,Z=-2.369,P=0.018)were statistically significantly lower,while that of Eubacterium_halli_group was significantly higher(AN vs.HC,7.63%vs.3.43%,Z=-2.115,P=0.035).Line

目的:探讨阿尔茨海默病(AD)和遗忘型轻度认知功能障碍(aMCI)在默认脑网络(DMN)、突显网络(SN)和执行控制网络(ECN)这三个脑网络中的半球间脑功能连接的差异性。创新点:利用体素镜像同伦功能连接(VMHC)来观察AD和aMCI在多个脑网络基础上的半球间功能连接特点。方法:该研究纳入了浙江省人民医院就诊的30例AD患者、14例aMCI患者和18例老年健康对照者,均给予静息态功能磁共振扫描,利用VMHC进行数据分析,联合简易智力状态检查量表(MMSE)和蒙特利尔认知评估量表(MOCA)进行相关分析。结论:(1)位于三个脑网络的异常半球功能连接主要存在于AD组,可以作为AD诊断的一个敏感性指标;(2)VMHC值可以作为预测AD进展包括aMCI发展为AD的一个敏感性指标。

Background： As medication does not normalize outcomes of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder （ADHD）, especially in real-life functioning, nonpharmacological methods are important to target this field. This randomized controlled clinical trial was designed to evaluate the effects of a comprehensive executive skill training program for school-aged children with ADHD in a relatively large sample. Methods： The children （aged 6-12 years） with ADHD were randomized to the intervention or waitlist groups. A healthy control group was composed of gender- and age-matched healthy children. The intervention group received a 12-session training program lbr multiple executive skills. Executive function （EF）, ADHD symptoms, and social functioning in the intervention and waitlist groups were evaluated at baseline and the end of the final training session. The healthy controls （HCs） were only assessed once at baseline. Repeated measures analyses of variance were used to compare EF, ADHD symptoms, and social function between intervention and waitlist groups. Results： Thirty-eight children with ADH D in intervention group, 30 in waitlist group, and 23 healthy children in healthy control group were included in final analysis. At posttreatment, intervention group showed significantly lower Behavior Rating Inventory of Executive Function （BRIEF） total score （135.89 ±16.80 vs. 146.09 ± 23.92, P = 0.04） and monitoring score （18.05 ± 2.67 vs. 19.77 ± 3.10, P = 0.02）, ADHD-IV overall score （41.11 ± 7.48 vs. 47.20 ± 8.47, P 〈 0.01 ）, hyperactivity-impulsivity （HI） subscale score （ 18.92 ± 5.09 vs. 21.93 ± 4.93, P = 0.02）, and inattentive subscale score （22.18 ±3.56 vs. 25.27± 5.06, P 〈 0.01 ）, compared with the waitlist group.
