Deep coal mines in northern Anhui province,China,provide opportunities for tracing the distribution and fractionation of rare earth elements(REEs) in deep seated *** ions,as well as REE concentrations were measured in groundwater from a sandstone aquifer located between-400 and-280 *** results indicate that this groundwater consists of Cl HCO3-Na or Cl CO3-Na water types with warm temperature(30.1-31.4 °C),circumneutral pH(7.27-8.61) and high levels of total dissolved solids(TDS = 1306-2165 mg/L).Concentrations of REEs in groundwater are high as expressed by their Nd concentrations(0.0086-0.018 lg/L).Except for weak heavy REEs(HREE) enrichment relative to light REEs(LREE),the similarity of REE distribution patterns between groundwater and aquifer rock indicate that enrichment of REEs is considered to be controlled by aquifer rock,as well as by their minerals,whereas the fractionation of REEs is controlled by HREE enriched minerals and,to a lesser extent,by inorganic REE *** anomalies normalized to Post Archean Average Shale(PAAS) and aquifer rock are weak,which probably reflect the contribution of reduced conditions in combination with pH,rather than a signature of aquifer rock.

Let X1,X2,... be a sequence of i.i.d. random variables and let X(1),X(2),... be the associatedrecord value sequence. We focus on the asymptotic distributions of sums of records, Tn=∑nk=1X(k), forX1 ∈ LN(γ). In this case, we find that 2 is a strange point for parameter γ. When γ＞ 2, Tn is asymptoticallynormal, while for 2 ＞γ＞ 1, we prove that Tn cannot converge in distribution to any non-degenerate lawthrough common centralizing and normalizing and log Tn is asymptotically normal.

In this paper, a new method to derive the Fokker-Planck coefficients defined by a non-Maxwellian velocity distribution function for the field particles is presented. The three- fold integral and the new Debye cutoff parameter, which were introduced by CHANG and LI, are applied. Therefore, divergence difficulties and the customary replacement of relative velocity g by thermal velocity vth are naturally avoided. The probability function P（v, Av） for non- Maxwellian scattering is derived by the method of choosing velocity transfer Av, which is a true measure of collision intensity, as an independent variable. The method enables the difference between small-angle scattering and small-momentum-transfer collisions of the inverse-square force to be well clarified. With the help of the probability function, the Fokker-Planck coefficients are obtained by a normal original Fokker-Planck approach. The friction and diffusion coefficients of the Fokker-Planck equation are modified for non-Maxwellian scattering and are used to investigate the relaxation processes for the weakly coupled plasma. The profiles of the relaxation rates show that the slowing down and deflection processes are weakened in the conditions of non-Maxwellian scattering.

Data-driven paradigms are well-known and salient demands of future wireless communication. Empowered by big data and machine learning techniques,next-generation data-driven communication systems will be intelligent with unique characteristics of expressiveness, scalability, interpretability, and uncertainty awareness, which can confidently involve diversified latent demands and personalized services in the foreseeable future. In this paper, we review a promising family of nonparametric Bayesian machine learning models,i.e., Gaussian processes(GPs), and their applications in wireless communication. Since GP models demonstrate outstanding expressive and interpretable learning ability with uncertainty, they are particularly suitable for wireless communication. Moreover, they provide a natural framework for collaborating data and empirical models(DEM). Specifically, we first envision three-level motivations of data-driven wireless communication using GP models. Then, we present the background of the GPs in terms of covariance structure and model inference. The expressiveness of the GP model using various interpretable kernels, including stationary, non-stationary, deep and multi-task kernels,is showcased. Furthermore, we review the distributed GP models with promising scalability, which is suitable for applications in wireless networks with a large number of distributed edge devices. Finally, we list representative solutions and promising techniques that adopt GP models in various wireless communication applications.

Compared with the conventionally gaseous or liquid working media,the specific internal energy of supercritical carbon dioxide(SCD)is higher at the same temperature and pressure,and the critical temperature of carbon dioxide is close to room temperature,making SCD a potential new working medium for pneumatic *** analyze the feasibility of this conception,an analytical model of a pneumatic catapult is established on basis of the conservations of mass and *** model consists of a high-pressure chamber and a low-pressure chamber connected by multiple valves,and there is a movable piston in the low-pressure chamber that can push an aircraft to *** effects of the launch readiness state of SCD in the high-pressure chamber,the initial volume of the low-pressure chamber and the valve control on the movement of the aircraft are *** is found that there is a restrictive relation between the temperature and pressure of the launch readiness state of SCD,i.e.,there is a maximum allowable launch readiness pressure when the launch readiness temperature is *** this restrictive relation is not satisfied,the working medium in the low-pressure chamber will drop to its triple point within a few milliseconds,leading to a launch *** to this restrictive relation,there is an optimal launch readiness state of SCD with the highest working capacity for any allowable launch readiness *** pressure of the low-pressure chamber will decrease significantly as the initial volume increases,leading to a decreased acceleration of the *** acceleration can be controlled below a critical value by a designed sequential blasting technique of multiple *** calculated results show that a 500 kg aircraft can be accelerated from 0 to 58 m/s in 0.9 s with 36 kg of carbon *** research provides a new technique for the controllable cold launch of an aircraft.

Although some ideal quantum key distribution protocols have been proved to be secure, there have been some demonstrations that practical quantum key distribution implementations were hacked due to some real-life imperfections. Among these attacks, detector side channel attacks may be the most serious. Recently, a measurement device independent quantum key distribution protocol [Phys. Rev. Lett. 108 （2012） 130503] was proposed and all detector side channel attacks are removed in this scheme. Here a new security proof based on quantum information theory is given. The eavesdropper＇s information of the sifted key bits is bounded. Then with this bound, the final secure key bit rate can be obtained.
