OBJECTIVE:To investigate the efficacy of scalp acupuncture Yikang therapy on Baihui(GV20),Sishencong(EX-HN1),Zhisanzhen,Niesanzhen,on neurobehavior in young rats with cerebral palsy based on Notch signaling ***:Thirty 7-day-old rats were randomly divided into sham,model and acupuncture,10 rats in each *** cerebral palsy model was established by the accepted modeling method,the acupuncture group selected"Baihui(GV20)","Sishencong(EX-HN1)","Zhisanzhen"and"Niesanzhen"for intervention 24 h after the model was *** body masses were recorded before and after the treatment,*** the intervention,the rats were subjected to suspension experiment,slope experiment,tactile stimulation experiment and Morris water maze *** the end of the experiment,the morphological changes of hippocampal histology were observed by hematoxylineosin(HE)staining under light microscope,and the expression of Notch1,Notch3 and Hes5 were detected by Western blot and quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(PCR).RESULTS:The changes in body mass of the rats in each group were different;in behavioral experiments,compared with the sham,the suspension time of the model was shortened,the slope experiment,tactile stimulation experiment,and escape latency time were prolonged,and the number of platform crossing was reduced in the model,compared with the model,the suspension time of the acupuncture was prolonged,the slope experiment,tactile stimulation experiment,and escape latency time were shortened,and the number of platform crossing times was increased;HE staining showed severe hippocampal damage in the model and reduced hippocampal damage in the *** Blot and real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR showed that the expression of Notch1,Notch3 and Hes5 were increased in the model and the expression of Notch1,Notch3,Hes5 in acupuncture were ***:Scalp acupuncture Yikang therapy may improve neurobehavior and reduce brain inj

Effect of Auricular Acupoint Bloodletting plus Auricular Acupressure on Sleep Quality and Neuroendocrine Level in College Students with Primary Insomnia:A Randomized Controlled Trial

Objective:To evaluate the effects of auricular acupoint bloodletting(AB)and auricular acupressure(AA)on sleep quality and the levels of melatonin(MT),glutamic acid(Glu),and γ-aminobutyric acid(GABA)in college students with primary insomnia,and to explore the possible ***:Totally 74 college students at hebei university of chinese medicine.with primary insomnia were selected from October 2019 to October *** patients were assigned to AB+AA group(37 cases,received combination of AB and AA)and AA group(37 cases,received only AA on the same acupoints)by a random number *** group was treated twice a week for 4 *** Pitsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)score,chinese medicine.CM)syndrome score,total effective rate,serum concentrations of MT,Glu,and GABA,and Glu/GABA ratio were compared between the two groups after treatment and at *** safety of therapy was also ***:After 4-week treatment,the total scores of PSQI,each PSQI component score,and the CM syndrome scores in both groups all decreased(P0.05).At follow-up,the CM syndrome score in the AB+AA group was significantly lower than that in the AA group(P0.05).Conclusions:Both AB+AA and AA can relieve insomnia symptoms,but a stronger long-term effect were observed for AB+***+AA canpromote the secretion of MT,increase the levelsof Glu and GABA more effective than AA,and regulate their imbalance,and thus it may bebenificial for treating insomnia.

OBJECTIVE:To explore the sensitization acupoints of women with primary dysmenorrhea(PD)by comparing infrared radiation temperatures between acupoints and ***:We tested 10 acupoints of every woman with PD and healthy subjects on premenstrual,menstrual,and postmenstrual days using an infrared imaging *** primary outcome was the absolute value of body surface temperature difference(AVTD)between the left and right sides of the same testing ***:A total of 58 PD patients and 57 healthy volunteers completed the test from May 2016 to May *** with the healthy group,we observed a significant reduction and increase in the AVTD in Taichong(LR3)and Sanyinjiao(SP6),respectively,during menstrual days in the PD group(P=0.01;P=0.04);while during postmenstrual days,all AVTDs of Shuiquan(KI5),Diji(SP8),and Xuehai(SP10)were diminished in the PD group(P=0.01;P=0.03;P=0.01,respectively).No significant differences in AVTD were detected at any other points or testing ***:Compared with the healthy group,the AVTDs of Taichong(LR3),Sanyinjiao(SP6),Shuiquan(KI5),Diji(SP8),and Xuehai(SP10)at menstruationrelevant points of PD patients were sensitized,providing a reference for the selection of acupoints in the treatment of PD.

Different micro needle system therapies have different advantages and ***,at present,the dominant diseases for which each therapy is appropriate are positioned relatively vaguely,and even the acupoint selections for the same disease are *** clinical application of the dominant disease and application characteristics of each micro needle system therapy is a scientific problem that needs to be explored *** on the previous data mining study of the clinical application of auricular acupuncture,scalp acupuncture,abdominal acupuncture,eye acupuncture,wrist-ankle acupuncture,hand acupuncture,the second metacarpal bone lateral needling,facial acupuncture,mouth acupuncture and nose acupuncture,the diseases reported more in the clinical literature of each therapy were extracted to find out the same symptoms applicable to different micro needle *** clinical application and differences of different micro needle systems for the same disease were compared horizontally,and it demonstrated that the second metacarpal bone lateral needling,facial needle,mouth acupuncture and nose acupuncture were biased towards a partial corresponding therapeutic relationship between one part and the other part,and the eye acupuncture was biased to interfere with the whole by adjusting the function of the organs,and the auricular,scalp and abdominal needles had the both characteristics,and the wrist-malleolus acupuncture and hand acupuncture were often used in various disorders of the meridian-collateral *** differences were researched and summarized to more accurately guide clinicians in the application of different micro needle system therapies.

Impacts of the annual cycle of background SST in the tropical Pacific on the phase and amplitude of ENSO

The dominant annual cycle of sea surface temperature(SST)in the tropical Pacific exhibits an antisymmetric mode,which explains 83.4%total variance,and serves as a background of El Niño-Southern Oscillation(ENSO).However,there is no consensus yet on its anomalous impacts on the phase and amplitude of *** on data during 1982-2022,results show that anomalies of the antisymmetric mode can affect the evolution of ENSO on the interannual scale via Bjerknes feedback,in which the positive(negative)phase of the antisymmetric mode can strengthen El Niño(La Niña)in boreal winter via an earlier(delayed)seasonal cycle transition and larger(smaller)annual *** magnitude of the SST anomalies in the equatorial eastern Pacific can reach more than±0.3◦C,regulated by the changes in the antisymmetric mode based on random sensitivity *** reveal the spatial pattern of the annual cycle associated with the seasonal phase-locking of ENSO evolution and provide new insight into the impact of the annual cycle of background SST on ENSO,which possibly carries important implications for forecasting ENSO.
