A New Exploration of Practical Teaching Reform in the Department of Plant Protection of hebei North university

It’s an important way in China’s educational reform to implement individualized education in higher education. Individualized education is an innovative and student-oriented teaching mode in which students participate, explore, and challenge themselves actively with sufficient teacher-student communication. The following are the major measures to promote individualized education in colleges and universities: setting up the idea of individualized education, establishing the teaching content and curriculum system that are adapted to individualized education, building up individualized teaching management model, practising heuristic teaching and diversified teaching evaluation. This paper proposes some suggestions on ways of implementing individualized education in colleges and universities.

OBJECTIVE To retrospectively analyze clinical data of patientsfrom our hospital who underwent radical surgery for esophagealcarcinoma and for adenocarcinoma of the gastric cardia,as well asto investigate prognostic factors affecting the long-term survival ofthe *** Data from the patients eligible for our study,admitted to the 4th Hospital of hebei Medical university fromJanuary 1996 to December 2004,were randomized,and 12distinctive clinicopathologic factors influencing the survival rateof those who underwent radical surgery for esophageal carcinomaor carcinoma of the gastric cardia were *** andmultivariate analysis of these individual variables were performedusing the Cox proportional hazard *** It was shown by univariate analysis that age,tumorsize,pathologic type,lymph node status,TNM staging,depthof infiltration and encroachment into local organs,etc.,were thefactors that markedly influenced the prognosis of patients(P<0.01).Multivariate analysis showed that pathologic type,numberof the lymph node metastases,involvement of local organs,andTNM staging were independent prognostic factors(P<0.05).CONCLUSION The independent factors influencing theprognosis of patients with esophageal cancer and carcinoma ofthe gastric cardia include pathologic type,number of lymph nodemetastases,involvement of local organs and TNM *** prognostic factors affecting the patient's survival are patientage,tumor size and depth of *** addition,patients withinvolvement of the local organs have a worse prognosis,and theyshould be closely followed up.

The preparation of immobilized enzyme with excellent performance is one of the difficulties that restrict the application of enzyme catalysis technology. Here, Candida rugosa lipase（CRL） was firstly adsorbed on the surface of magnetic zeolitic imidazolate framework-8（ZIF-8） nanospheres, which was further encapsulated with a mesoporous SiO2nano-membrane formed by tetraethyl orthosilicate（TEOS） polycondensation. Consequently, lipase could be firmly immobilized on carrier surface by physical binding rather than chemical binding, which did not damage the active conformation of enzyme. There were mesopores on the silica nano-membrane, which could improve the accessibility of enzyme and its apparent catalytic activity. Moreover, silica membrane encapsulation could also improve the stability of enzyme, suggesting an effective enzyme immobilization strategy. It showed that TEOS amount and the encapsulation time had significant effects on the thickness of silica membrane and the enzyme activity. The analysis in enzyme activity and protein secondary structure showed that lipase encapsulated in silica membrane retained the active conformation to the greatest extent. Compared with the adsorbed lipase, the encapsulated lipase increased its thermostability by 3 times and resistance to chemical denaturants by 7 times. The relative enzyme activity remained around 80% after 8 repetitions, while the adsorbed lipase only remained at7.3%.

Parkinson’s disease is the second most common progressive neurodegenerative disorder,and few reliable biomarkers are available to track disease *** proteins,DNA,mRNA,and lipids carried by exosomes reflect intracellular changes,and thus can serve as biomarkers for a variety of *** this study,we investigated alterations in the protein content of plasma exosomes derived from patients with Parkinson’s disease and the potential therapeutic roles of these proteins in Parkinson’s *** a tandem mass tag-based quantitative proteomics approach,we characterized the proteomes of plasma exosomes derived from individual patients,identified exosomal protein signatures specific to patients with Parkinson’s disease,and identified N-acetyl-alpha-glucosaminidase as a differentially expressed protein.N-acetyl-alpha-glucosaminidase expression levels in exosomes from the plasma of patients and healthy controls were validated by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and western *** results demonstrated that the exosomal N-acetyl-alpha-glucosaminidase concentration was not only lower in Parkinson’s disease,but also decreased with increasing Hoehn-Yahr stage,suggesting that N-acetyl-alpha-glucosaminidase could be used to rapidly evaluate Parkinson’s disease ***,western blot and immunohistochemistry analysis showed that N-acetyl-alpha-glucosaminidase levels were markedly reduced both in cells treated with 1-methyl-4-phenylpyridinium and cells overexpressingα-synuclein compared with control ***,N-acetyl-alpha-glucosaminidase overexpression significantly increased cell viability and inhibitedα-synuclein expression in 1-methyl-4-phenylpyridinium-treated *** together,our findings demonstrate for the first time that exosomal N-acetyl-alpha-glucosaminidase may serve as a biomarker for Parkinson’s disease diagnosis,and that N-acetyl-alpha-glucosaminidase may reduceα-synuclein expression and 1-methyl-4-phenylpyridinium-induced n
