This study aims to investigate the influence of spiritual values on work motivation, management control, and the quality of financial information on Islamic financial institutions （IFIs） in Indonesia. Spiritual values are measured using four reflexive indicators, namely, Shiddiq, Fathanah, Amanah, and Tabligh. Work motivation is formed by four formative indicators, namely, compensation, recognition, work experience, and openness. Management control variable is formed by four formative indicators, namely, planning, implementing, evaluating, and monitoring, and finally, the quality of financial information is manifested in four reflexive variables, namely, relevant, comparable, understandable, and consistent. Data are collected through questionnaires with 125 respondents as samples from three types of IFIs, such as Islamic banking, Islamic pawnshop, and Islamic insurance in Indonesia. Methods of data analysis include the use of partial least squares （PLS） to analyze the influence of spiritual values on work motivation, management control, and quality of financial information. The results of this study showed that the manifestation of spiritual values in IFIs is able to influence the quality of financial information through the media as motivation and management control, but directly spiritual values are not able to influence the quality of financial information. While work motivation and management control significantly influence the quality of financial information.

Identification and monitoring of species composition and richness isneeded to formulate effective mangrove management and conservationpriorities. Prior studies have used commercial satellite images which arecost prohibitive for national and global applications. Here, we usedfreely available Landsat satellite data and new indices to discriminatemangrove species in Maros Regency, South Sulawesi, Indonesia andSegara Anakan, West Java, Indonesia. We use sensitive algorithm of theprincipal polar spectral (PPS) indices to discriminate mangroves *** Indices were produced from a set of 3-dimensional Landsat 8Operational Land Imager (OLI) spectral indices (PPS Brightness, PPSGreenness, and PPS Wetness) determined by a polar change of theprincipal component axes of a spectral image of reference scene. Wequalitatively compare this set of PPS indices with the set of conventionalRGB multi-bands image composition and conventional NormalizedDifference Vegetation Indices (NDVI) for mangroves speciesdiscrimination. The comparisons indicate that the set of PPS indiceshave the potential for regional and possibly global applications inmangroves species mapping and monitoring.

Background: M. tuberculosisis the most important etiological factor of tuberculosis. One of the factors that make TB hard to eradicate is the emergence of M. tuberculosisdrug resistance. Drug resistance in M. tuberculosisis attributed primarily to the accumulation of mutations in the drug target gene. Objectives: to analyze profile of Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA (RAPD) in M. tuberculosisisolates resistant to Isoniazid and found RAPD marker. Methods: seven Isoniazid resistant isolate of M. tuberculosisfrom Ma kassar, Indonesia strain were analyzed by RAPD method using primers OPN 02, OPN 09, OPN 20, BG 65, N 9, that amplification fragment DNA than as molecular marker. Results: The results of the present study showed high degree of polymerphism in *** in the population, and found that specific DNA fragment at Isoniazid resistant isolates using primer N 9 is 1450 bp as a marker. Conclusion: This study gives information about RAPD marker of M. tuberculosis strain to Isoniazid resistant.

Characterizing Potential Fishing Zone of Skipjack Tuna during the Southeast Monsoon in the Bone Bay-Flores Sea Using Remotely Sensed Oceanographic Data

Potential fishing zones for skipjack tuna in the Bone Bay-Flores Sea were investigated from satellite-based oceanography and catch data, using a linear model (generalized linear model) constructed from generalized additive models and geographic information systems. Monthly mean remotely sensed sea surface temperature and surface chlorophyll-a concentration during the southeast monsoon (April-August) were used for the year 2012. The best generalized additive model was selected to assess the effect of marine environment variables (sea surface temperature and chlorophyll-a concentration) on skipjack tuna abundance (catch per unit effort). Then, the appropriate linear model was constructed from the functional relationship of the generalized additive model for generating a robust predictive model. Model selection process for the generalized additive model was based on significance of model terms, decrease in residual deviance, and increase in cumulative variance explained, whereas the model selection for the linear model was based on decrease in residual deviance, reduction in Akaike’s Information Criterion, increasing cumulative variance explained and significance of model terms. The best model was selected to predict skipjack tuna abundance and their spatial distribution patterns over entire study area. A simple linear model was used to verify the predicted values. Results indicated that the distribution pattern of potential fishing zones for skipjack during the southeast monsoon were well characterized by sea surface temperatures ranging from 28.5℃ to 30.5 ℃ and chlorophyll-a ranging from 0.10 to 0.20 mg·m-3. Predicted highest catch per unit efforts were significantly consistent with the fishing data (P 2 = 0.8), suggesting that the oceanographic indicators may correspond well with the potential feeding ground for skipjack tuna. We study the windowed Fourier transform in the framework of Clifford analysis, which we call the Clifford windowed Fourier transform （CWFT）. Based on the spectral representation of the Clifford Fourier transform （CFT）, we derive several important properties such as shift, modulation, reconstruction formula, orthogonality relation, isometry, and reproducing kernel. We also present an example to show the differences between the classical windowed Fourier transform （WFT） and the CWFT. Finally, as an application we establish a Heisenberg type uncertainty principle for the CWFT.

Objective:To examine the potent of water as a solvent agent in the preparation of traditional herbal ***:Water extracts of 18 plants were prepared through reflux and examined(25μg/mL) to evaluate their possibility for inhibiting protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B(PTP1B).The determination of IC50 values was performed for the samples possessing more than 80%***,those exhibiting IC50 values more than 7.0 μg/mL were further profiled for their chemical constituents through nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR) ***:About 44%(8) of the examined samples showed more than 80%inhibition against PTP1 *** water extracts of Elephantopus scaber,Helicteres isora aerial parts,Elaeocarpus grandiflorus(***) fruits,Melaleuca leucadendron leaves,and Quercus infectoria gum had IC50 values ranging from 2.05 to 6.90 μg/***,Andropogon nardus and Centella asiatica were at the area of δ 3.0-4.0 ***,the13 C NMR observation of samples possessing the most intensive signals in their proton NMR Cinnamomum burmannii and *** showed the peaks at the area of δ 60-90 ppm as the supportive evidence for sugar group ***,a disaccharide from *** could be an active inhibitor towards PTB1 ***:In contrast to the mainstream solvents currently used in modern herbal manufactures especially Jamu medicine in Indonesia,pure-water-extracted materials should be reconsidered and could be reemerged for future studies and for the manufacture of herbal *** addition,the activity of Jamu components should be confirmed that their antidiabetes and antiobesity activities could be through the inhibition of PTP1 B.

Purpose:This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of Relaxation Breathing Exercise(RBE)on fatigue in patients with gynaecological cancer undergoing ***:We used a quasi-experiment with pre-and post-test ***-two patients were consecutively sampled,21 of whom were assigned to the group receiving RBE four times a day and 21 to the group receiving RBE twice a *** scores were measured every day for 7 days for both groups using the Piper Fatigue *** obtained were analysed using repeated-ANOVA and independent ttest with a significant level of a<***:We found a significant decrease(P<0.01)in the mean fatigue scores of both groups(four times RBE in a day group=3.29±0.59 and twice RBE in a day group=4.19±0.61)after the completion of the ***,the four times RBE a day group showed larger decrease on fatigue scores than the twice RBE a day group did(Mean Difference=0.91;99%CI=0.41 to 1.41;P=0.001).Conclusion:Conducting RBE four times a day effectively alleviated fatigue better than RBE twice a day on gynaecological cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy.

Spermonde Archipelago has been found to have a high sponge biodiversity. Sponges that have feeding behavior as filter feeder can be exposed to heavy metals, including Zn metal. Zn is an essential metal that is physiologically needed by sponge to catalyze chemical reactions and generally operates on enzymes. A study on Zn pollution level in Spermonde Archipelago from zone I to Zone IV was conducted by analyzing Zn concentration in sponges, sediments, and seawater. Physicochemical parameters measurement in Spermonde Archipelago indicates that Spermonde Archipelago meets the requirements for sponge growth. Callyspongia aerizusa can be used as metal pollution indicator because this sponge can accumulate heavy metal Zn in high level (99.30 mg/kg dry weight). This sponge was derived from Kondingareng Lompo island at zone III. In addition, Kodingareng Lompo island waters had the highest Zn concentration compared to other islands. Sediments from Lae-Lae island at zone I had the highest Zn metal concentration. Lae-Lae island is the nearest island to Makassar coastal line.

Vertical Handover Management for VoIP Session over Broadband Wireless Networks

Today, wireless LAN (IEEE802.11g/n) has been the dominant wireless network that can provide high data rates in a limited coverage area. While emerging mobile WiMAX (IEEE802.16e) can provide a wireless broadband access to mobile users in a wide coverage area. These two different technolgies will co-exist while complementing each other in some regions, hence, a mobile node (MN) with dual interfaces traverses and executes many handovers (HOs) between 802.11g and 802.16e. Meanwhile, there is a huge demand for Voice over IP (VoIP) service over wireless networks. However, VoIP is a delay and loss sensitive application, hence, VoIP session is more likely to be deteriorated during HO between 802.11g and 802.16e. In order to maintain quality of VoIP session during HO, we proposed Vertical Handover Management (VHM) for VoIP session that focuses on HO initiation and decision strategy according to the wireless link condition and congestion state of wireless networks. The VHM exploits request to send (RTS) retries and round trip time (RTT) between an MN and an access point in an 802.11g interface as well as a carrier to interference noise ration (CINR) level and MN’s queue length of an 802.16e interface as HO triggers. We then conducted simulation experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of our proposed VHM using QualNet 4.5. Our simulation results show that our proposed VHM can preserve the quality of VoIP session during such HOs.

This study determined the indirect selection index of doubled haploid(DH)rice using a multivariate analysis approach to select lines adaptive to salinity stress,comprising three *** first experiment involved the selection of good agronomic characters in a field experiment conducted at an experimental station in Bogor,*** second experiment involved salinity tolerance screening through hydroponic cultures using 0 and 120 mmol/L NaCl,conducted at a greenhouse in *** third experiment involved the validation of the indirect adaptability selection index(IASI)through a field experiment in Sukra(saline area).Field experiments followed a randomized complete block design(RCBD),whereas an RCBD nested factorial design was used for the greenhouse *** first and second experiments used 56 DH lines and four check varieties with three *** the second experiment,Pokkali and IR29 varieties were also added as tolerant and sensitive checks of salinity,*** third experiment used 28 selected DH lines,Inpari 29 and one sensitive DH *** good agronomic index(GAI)was 0.465 yield+0.433 number of productive tillers+0.31 number of filled *** generated 24 DH rice lines with good agronomic *** salinity tolerance index(SaTI)was developed through the average of standardized salinity tolerance score and salinity selection index based on discriminant *** generated 34 DH rice lines with good salinity stress *** IASI(IASI=GAI–SaTI)selected 28 DH rice lines adaptive to salinity stress and it was considered effective by Sukra validation.
