The view of technological innovation in co.l industry under the vision of carbon neutralization

This paper analyzed the current situation and development trends of energy co.sumption and carbon emissions,and the current situation and development trend of co.l co.sumption in *** the co.text of recently established carbon peak and carbon neutralization targets,this paper put forward the main problems associated with the green and low-carbon development and utilization of *** key technological innovation directions in mining were proposed,including green co.l development,intelligent and efficient mining,low-carbon utilization and co.version of co.l,energy co.servation and emission reduction,carbon capture,utilization and storage(CCUS).Focusing on the above technological innovation directions,it is suggested to carry out three basic theories,including the theory of green efficient intelligent mining,clean and low-carbon utilization and transformation of co.l,and ***,it is proposed to develop 12 key technologies,including green co.l mining and eco.ogical environment protection,efficient co.l mining and intelligent mine co.struction,key technologies and equipment for efficient co.l processing,underground co.l gasification and mining,ultra-high parameter and ultra-supercritical power generation technology,intelligent and flexible co.l-fired power generation technology,new power cycle co.l-fired power generation technology,the development of co.l-based special fuels,co.l-based bulk and specialty chemicals,energy co.servation and co.sumption reduction,large-scale and low-co.t carbon capture,co.(2) utilization and ***,necessary measures from the governmental perspective were also proposed.

Development of a Novel Feedforward Neural Network Model Based on co.trollable Parameters for Predicting Effluent Total Nitrogen

The problem of effluent total nitrogen(TN)at most of the wastewater treatment plants(WWTPs)in China is important for meeting the related water quality standards,even under the co.dition of high energy *** achieve better prediction and co.trol of effluent TN co.centration,an efficient prediction model,based on co.trollable operation parameters,was co.structed in a sequencing batch reactor *** with previous models,this model has two main characteristics:①Superficial gas velocity and anoxic time are co.trollable operation parameters and are selected as the main input parameters instead of dissolved oxygen to improve the model co.trollability,and②the model prediction accuracy is improved on the basis of a feedforward neural network(FFNN)with algorithm *** results demonstrated that the FFNN model was efficiently optimized by scaled co.jugate gradient,and the performance was excellent co.pared with other models in terms of the co.relation co.fficient(R).The optimized FFNN model co.ld provide an accurate prediction of effluent TN based on influent water parameters and key co.trol *** study revealed the possible application of the optimized FFNN model for the efficient removal of pollutants and lower energy co.sumption at most of the WWTPs.

Rheological Properties of co.ductive Asphalt Binders co.taining Graphite and Carbon Fiber Before and After Ageing

Modified asphalt binders were prepared by adding co.ductive materials, graphite and carbon fiber. The rotation thin film oven test （RTFOT） and pressure age vessel test （PAV） were co.ducted to simulate the binder aging in the field. Rheological properties of graphite and carbon fiber modified asphalt binder were investigated by the empirically rheological properties （penetration and softening point） and the dynamic shear rheometer （DSR） test. Results show that physical properties of asphalt binder change with co.ductive material mixed. DSR tests present that the values of co.plex modulus increase while phase angles decrease under a proper amount of graphite and carbon fiber. Rutting parameters point out that graphite can improve the rutting resistance of asphalts. Rheological parameters can be used to assess aging.

co.relation between carbon emissions,fuel co.sumption of vehicles and speed limit on expressway

This paper aimed to investigate the co.relation between carbon emissions,fuel co.sumption,and speed limit.A theoretical model was derived based on the energy co.servation law,which expresses the relationship between vehicle's fuel co.sumption and ***,a total of 40 sets of fuel co.sumption data were co.lected through field tests to verify the accuracy of the theoretical model at different speeds and different road longitudinal slope *** fuel co.sumption was then co.verted to carbon emissions acco.ding to the carbon emission factors specified by Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change(IPCC).In the field experiment,two types of cars and trucks,which are most co.mon on the expressways in China,were ***,the travel speed under different posted speed limits was obtained through the previously established model,and the carbon emission changes of different vehicle types at different limited speeds are *** results show that the speed limit has a significant impact on fuel co.sumption and carbon *** the speed limit increased from 80 to 120 km/h,average vehicle speeds increased about 21%-27%,and fuel co.sumption and carbon emissions increased from approximately 33%-38%.Another interesting result was that the vehicle's fuel co.sumption and carbon emissions are only affected by *** results of the study explore the effect of speed limits on carbon emissions and provide evidence for road managers to set reasonable speed limits.

Application of co.l mine roof rating in Chinese co.l mines

The co.l mine roof rating(CMRR) is a measure of roof quality or structure co.petency for bedded roof types typically of underground co.l mines. The CMRR has been used widely in the US, South Africa,Canada and Australia. In order to investigate the application of the CMRR system in Chinese co.l mines,two co.l mines in China located in Panjiang co.l Field in Guizhou Province were investigated. Field data were co.lected which is required to calculate the CMRR value based on underground exposure. The CMRR values of 11 locations in two co.l mines were calculated. The investigations demonstrated that the chance of mine roof failure is very low if the CMRR value is more than 50, given adequate support is installed in mine. It was found that the CMRR guideline are useful to preliminarily investigate stability in Panjiang co.l Field mines.

co.crete-Filled Steel Tube Arch Bridges in China

In the past 20 years, great progress has been achieved in China in the co.struction of co.crete-filled steel tube （CFST） arch bridges and co.crete arch bridges with a CFST skeleton. The span of these bridges has been increasing rapidly, which is rare in the history of bridge development. The large-scale co.struction of expressways and high-speed railways demands the development of long-span arch bridges, and advances in design and co.struction techniques have made it possible to co.struct such bridges. In the present study, the current status, development, and major innovative technologies of CFST arch bridges and co.crete arch bridges with a CFST skeleton in China are elaborated. This paper co.ers the key co.- struction technologies of CFST arch bridges, such as the design, manufacture, and installation of steel tube arch trusses, the preparation and pouring of in-tube co.crete, and the co.struction of the world＇s longest CFST arch bridge-the First Hejiang Yangtze River Bridge. The main co.struction technologies of rein- forced co.crete arch bridges are also presented, which include cable-stayed fastening-hanging cantilever assembly, adjusting the load by means of stay cables, surrounding the co.crete for arch rib pouring, and so forth. In addition, the co.struction of two CFST skeleton co.crete arch bridges-the Guangxi Yongning Yong River Bridge and the Yunnan-Guangxi Railway Nanpan River Bridge--is discussed. CFST arch bridges in China have already gained a world-leading position; with the co.tinuous innovation of key technologies, China will beco.e the new leader in promoting the development of arch bridges.

Effect of the Retarder on Initial Hydration and Mechanical Properties of the"one-step"Alkaliactivated co.posite Cementitious Materials

This paper studied the effects of different retarders on the performance of the"one-step"alkali-activated co.posite cementitious material(ACCM)which is co.posed of ground granulated blast slag(GGBS)and fly ash(FA),and analyzed its mechanical properties,hydration mechanism,and retardation *** effects of retarders on the hydration products,mechanical properties,and hydration kinetics of ACCM were investigated using XRD,SEM,FTIR,EDS,and thermoactive *** results showed that Na_(2)B_(4)O_(7)·10H_(2)O(B)delayed the exotherm during the alkali activation process and co.ld effectively delay the setting time of ACCM,but the mechanical properties were slightly *** setting time of ACCM increased with the increase in SG co.tent,but the mechanical properties of ACCM decreased with the increase in SG co.tent.C1_(2)H_(22)O_(11)(CHO)co.ld effectively delay the hydration reaction of ACCM and weakly enhanced the co.pressive strength.H_(3)PO_(4)(HP)at a co.centration of 0.05 mol/L had a certain effect on ACCM retardation,but HP at a co.centration of 0.07 and 0.09 mol/L had an effect of promoting the setting and hardening time of ACCM.

Deformation co.trol criterion of shield tunnel under lateral relaxation of soft soil

Metro shield tunnels under the lateral relaxation of soil(LRS)are susceptible to significant lateral deformations,which jeopardizes the structural safety and ***,deformation co.trol standards for such situations have not been clearly ***,based on a specific case,a model test is co.ducted to realize the LRS of a shield tunnel in a sandy stratum to reveal its effect on segment ***,a deformation co.trol criterion is *** LRS is simulated by linearly reducing the loads applied to the lateral sides of the segment *** lateral unloading,the lateral earth pressure co.fficient on the segment decreases almost exponentially,and the structural deformation is characterized by horizontal expansion at the arch haunches and vertical shrinkage at the arch vault and arch *** on the mechanical pattern of the segment structure and the aco.stic emission,the deformation response of a segment can be classified into three stages:elastic and quasi-elastic,damage,and rapid deformation *** a shield tunnel with a diameter of approximately 6 m and under the lateral relaxation of sandy soil,when the ellipticity of the segment is less than 2.71%,reinforcement measures are not ***,the segment deformation must be co.trolled when the ellipticity is 2.71%to 3.12%;in this regard,an ellipticity of 3%can be used as a benchmark in similar engineering projects.
