OBJECTIVE: To explore the effect of traditional Chinese comprehensive therapy(TCCT) on promoting gestation in patients with previously failed in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer(IVF-ET) because of kidney deficiency, liver stagnation, and blood stasis(KLB).METHODS: Sixty-seven patients were enrolled in this study and divided into two groups: a trial group with 35 patients and a control group with 32 patients. The trial group was given TCCT for 3months, then administered IVF-ET or awaited natural pregnancy. The control group was administered IVF-ET without TCCT 3 months after the previous IVF-ET or natural pregnancy attempt. The patterns of KLB were observed both before and after treatment. The natural pregnancy rate of the two groups was calculated after treatment. Differences between the two groups were compared after using IVF-ET treatment again in fertilized egg number and fertilization rate were ***: After treatment with tcm comprehensive therapy, seven patients in the treatment group became pregnant, while there were no successful conceptions in the control group. The difference in clinical pregnancy rate in the initial cycle and transfer cycle of IVF were significantly different(P <0.05). The trial group had a significantly higher conception rate than that of the control group(P <0.05).CONCLUSION: TCCT can promote the natural pregnancy rate in patients with previously failed *** could increase patients' fertilized egg number, fertilization rate, pregnancy rate, and clinical pregnancy rate after another IVF-ET *** can also relieve the symptoms of KLB.

Pulmonary endothelial barrier dysfunction is a hallmark of clinical pulmonary edema and contributes to the development of acute lung injury(ALI).Here we reported that ruscogenin(RUS),an effective steroidal sapogenin of Radix Ophiopogon japonicus,attenuated lipopolysaccharides(LPS)-induced pulmonary endothelial barrier disruption through mediating non-muscle myosin heavy chain IIA(NMMHC IIA)-Toll-like receptor 4(TLR4)*** in vivo and in vitro experiments,we observed that RUS administration significantly ameliorated LPS-triggered pulmonary endothelial barrier dysfunction and ***,we identified that RUS directly targeted NMMHC IIA on its N-terminal and head domain by serial affinity chromatography,molecular docking,biolayer interferometry,and microscale thermophoresis *** of endothelial NMMHC IIA expression in vivo and in vitro abolished the protective effect of *** was also observed that NMMHC IIA was dissociated from TLR4 and then activating TLR4 downstream Src/vascular endothelial cadherin(VE-cadherin)signaling in pulmonary vascular endothelial cells after LPS treatment,which could be restored by ***,these findings provide pharmacological evidence showing that RUS attenuates LPS-induced pulmonary endothelial barrier dysfunction by inhibiting TLR4/Src/VE-cadherin pathway through targeting NMMHC IIA and mediating NMMHC IIA-TLR4 interactions.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effects of Zhi Zi(Fructus Gardeniae) on non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD) induced by a high-fat diet in the ***:A rat model of NAFLD was established using a high-fat *** one rats were randomly divided into a normal group,a model group and a Zhi Zi treatment group,7 rats per *** water and the drug were intragastrically administrated for 5 *** were then taken to observe pathological changes of the liver tissue(HE staining);changes in the fat metabolism pathway ***(TG) and free fatty acid(FFA) content;alterations in liver function,*** alanine aminotransferase(ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase(AST) activity;and differences in tumor necrosis factor α(TNF-α) and P-IkB protein expression in the liver ***:Fatty degeneration and vacuole-like changes of different degrees occurred in hepatic cells of the model *** for fat metabolism,serum ALT and AST activities,and expressionof TNF-α and P-IkB proteins in liver tissue significantly *** metabolism in the Zhi Zi group significantly reduced,as shown by a drop in marker *** ALT and AST activities,and expression of TNF-α,P-IkB proteins in liver tissue were also significantly decreased in this ***:Zhi Zi has a very strong inhibitory action on lipidosis and inflammatory injury in the rat model of *** mechanism may possibly be related to the inhibition of the free fatty acid metabolism pathway.

OBJECTIVE:To assess the long-term effectiveness of Huangqi(Radix Astragali Mongolici,HQ)-based Traditional Chinese Medicine(tcm)in the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN).METHODS:Nine databases were searched to retrieve available randomized controlled trials that compared HQbased tcm and Western Medicines in the treatment of *** methodological quality of the included studies was assessed using the Cochrane bias risk tool,and RevMan 5.4 was used for data *** effect estimates of interest were risk ratio(RR),mean difference(MD)or standardized mean difference(SMD)with 95%confidence interval(CI).RESULTS:The results from 48 available studies assessing 3759 patients demonstrated that cases administered HQ-based tcm[RR=1.30,95%CI(1.21,1.40),Ptcm combined with Western Medicines[RR=1.25,95%CI(1.19,1.31),Ptcm group had decreased Toronto Clinical Scoring System scores[MD=-1.50,95%CI(-1.83,-1.17),Ptcm and HQbased tcm combined with Western Medicine increased nerve conduction velocity and decreased glycaemia compared with Western Medicine *** terms of blood lipids,oxidative stress and adverse drug reactions,there were no significant differences between the HQ-based tcm groups and the Western Medicine control ***:The current Meta-analysis revealed that HQ-based tcm yields higher efficacy and safety than Western Medicine alone for the treatment of DPN,although further well-designed RCTs are required to validate these findings.

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of treatment based on syndrome differentiation ofTraditional Chinese Medicine(tcm) for community-acquired pneumonia(CAP).METHODS:A total of 240 CAP patients were randomly divided into the following two groups:thecontrol group was treated by anti-infection plus conventional medicine treatment;and the trial group was treated by tcm plus the above-mentioned treatment given to the *** course of treatment was 14 days,and the patients were followed up for 7 ***:Of the 240 patients,235 accomplished the whole process of *** five patients who withdrew from the study were brought into an intent-to-treat *** therapeutic effects of the trial group were superior to those of the control group(P0.05),white blood cell count(P>0.05),bacterial clearance rate(P>0.05),and adverse reactions between the two integrated ***:Treatment based on tcm syndrome differentiation for CAP has the advantages of resulting in less time to achieve a stable clinical condition,improvement of clinical symptoms and quality of life,and is comparatively safe.

The specification includes definition， operating process， points for attention and contraindications. It is targeted to provide reference for tcm providers at home and abroad with tcm background in clinical decision-making.
