H-O-S-Cu-Pb Isotopic Constraints on the Origin of the Nage Cu-Pb Deposit, Southeast guizhou Province, SW China

The Nage Cu-Pb deposit, a new found ore deposit in the southeast guizhou province, southwest China, is located on the southwestern margin of the Jiangnan Orogenic Belt. Ore bodies are hosted in slate and phyllite of Neoproterozoic Jialu and Wuye Formations, and are structurally controlled by EW-trending fault. It contains Cu and Pb metals about 0.12 million tonnes with grades of 0.2 wt% to 3.4 wt% Cu and 1.1 wt% to 9.27 wt% Pb. Massive and disseminated Cu-Pb ores from the Nage deposit occur as either veinlets or disseminations in silicified rocks. The ore minerals include chalcopyrite, galena and pyrite, and gangue minerals are quartz, sericite and chlorite. The H-O isotopic compositions of quartz, S-Cu-Pb isotopic compositions of sulfide minerals, Pb isotopic compositions of whole rocks and ores have been analyzed to trace the sources of ore-forming fluids and metals for the Nage Cu-Pb deposit. The oSCUNBs values of chalcopyrite range from -0.09% to ＋0.33%0, similar to basic igneous rocks and chalcopyrite from magmatic deposits. J6SCUNBS values of chalcopyrite from the early, middle and final mineralization stages show an increasing trend due to 63Cu prior migrated in gas phase when fluids exsolution from magma, ja4ScDT values of sulfide minerals range from -2.7‰ to ＋2.8‰, similar to mantle-derived sulfur （0±3‰）. The positive correlation between J65CUNBs and ja4SCDT values of chalcopyrite indicates that a common source of copper metal and sulfur from magma. JDu2o- SMOW and JlSOH2O-SMOW values of water in fluid inclusions of quartz range from -60.7‰ to -44.4‰ and ＋7.9‰ to ＋9.0%0 （T=260℃）, respectively and fall in the field for magmatic and metamorphic waters, implicating that mixed sources for H20 in hydrothermal fluids. Ores and sulfide minerals have a small range of Pb isotopic compositions （208Pb/204pb=38.152 to 38.384, 207Pb/204Pb=15.656 to 17.708 and 206Pb/204Pb=17.991 to 18.049） that are close to orogenic belt and upper crust Pb evolution curve, and similar to

Correlation of karst agricultural geo-environment with non-karst agricultural geo-environment with respect to nutritive elements in guizhou

The karst area accounts for 61.9% of the total area in guizhou Province, which gives rise to a fragile environment and backward economy. Comparative studies on the element contents of rock and soil and agriculture production in both carbonate area and non-carbonate area have been made to establish factors leading to low output and poor quality of agricultural products in the karst area. The result shows that there is an apparent lack of nutrient elements in carbonate rocks. The trace element contents of carbonate rocks are only 3532.27×10-6, but those of non-carbonate rocks are 10894.21×10-6. The available element contents in culti-vated soil delivered from carbonate rocks are merely 101.4×10-6, but those from non-carbonate rocks are 326.05×10-6. The available element contents and total element contents in cultivated soil delivered from non-carbonate rocks are 3 times higher than those from carbonate rocks. Besides, high-quality agricultural products such as rice, potato and tea are mainly produced in the non-carbonate area. It is indicated that the low output and quality of agricultural products are caused by the above-mentioned low trace element contents and poor agricultural environment. Therefore, a new method of mineral nutrients compensation has been put forward, which is very effective to raise the load-bearing capacity of agricultural environment, agricultural output and quality of agricultural products.

Provenance and tectonic setting transition as recorded in the Neoproterozoic strata, western Jiangnan Orogen:Implications for South China within Rodinia

The Neoproterozoic Tonian strata (ca.870-725 Ma) in the western Jiangnan Orogen archive the records of sedimentary provenance and tectonic setting which can be used to understand the geological evolution of the South China *** strata are separated into the basement and cover sequences by a regional angular *** basement sequence can be subdivided into the lower and the upper parts by the widespread interbedded ca.840 Ma basalt with pillow *** the present work,234 concordant detrital zircon analyses are obtained from three Tonian sandstone samples in the Fanjingshan district,guizhou *** with previous results,a total of 1736 analyses of detrital zircon U-Pb ages derived from 12 formations of Tonian strata in the western Jiangnan Orogen are used to decipher the integrated sedimentary and tectonic *** zircons from the lowermost part of the basement sequence (the Yujiagou Formation) show oval morphology and display two Paleoproterozoic age peaks at 2325 Ma and 1845 Ma which are similar with the detrital zircon age peaks from the Late Paleoproterozoic to Early Mesoproterozoic Dongchuan/Dahongshan/Hekou groups,suggesting a passive margin basin in which the sediments were mainly sourced from the southwestern Yangtze ***,the zircon age population of the lower part of the basement sequence (the Xiaojiahe,Huixiangping formations and their equivalents) indicates the sedimentary derivation from bidirectional sources (the ca.870 Ma arc materials in the south and the old detritus from the southwestern Yangtze Block) which is consistent with a back arc setting for the deposition of the *** from the upper part of the basement sequence (the Duyantang Formation and its equivalent) show euhedral and subangular morphology and display a unimodal age peak at ca.835 *** sequence was possibly deposited in a convergent setting and the detritus were came from the locally distributed syn-collisional igneous ro

Paleostress Reconstruction of Micangshan Anticlinorium on the Southern Margin of the Qinling Orogenic Belts,China

Brittle structures in rock of different ages can be used to establish the tectonic evolution of an orogenic belt through paleostress calculations. Micangshan is located at the southern margin of the Qinling orogenic belt, between the SE-trending Longmenshan fold-and-thrust belt and the arcuate Dabashan thrust-and-fold belt. Structural observations revealed that the dominant structures are reverse and strike-slip faults and folds with E-W and NE-SE trends. To increase knowledge of the tectonic evolution of the Micangshan anticlinorium, faults, joints, veins, and folds were measured at more than eighty sites. On the basis of structural analysis, it emerged that the multiphase paleostress fields became established after the oblique collision between the North and South China plates. The earliest stress field with N-S compression was established during the Micangshan uplift associated with the E-W trending faults and folds. Subsequently, a N-S extension occurred when the Qinling orogenic belt collapsed. Then NW-SE compression developed, with NE trending faults and folds forming in relation to Longmenshan thrusting toward southwest on the eastern margin of the Tibetan plateau. With the development of the arcuate Dabashan orogenic belt, the compression stress orientation of the Micangshan anticlinorium altered from NE-SW to E-W.

Provenance of Lower Carboniferous Bauxite Deposits in Northern guizhou,China:Constraints from Geochemistry and Detrital Zircon U-Pb Ages

The Lower Carboniferous Jiujialu Formation bauxite deposits of northern guizhou Province,China,are a Kazakhstan subtype of karst bauxite *** provenance of the Jiujialu Formation has long been debated,with uncertainty about the formation of the bauxite *** we report new geochemical data that indicate the affinity between the Lower-Middle Ordovician clastic rocks and argillaceous dolostones and the overlying Carboniferous bauxite deposits,all of which are characterized by high Al_(2)0_(3),K2_(O),and∑REE contents,flat post-Archean Australian shale(PAAS)-normalized REE patterns,and uniform immobile element ratios(TiO2/Al_(2)0_(3),Nb/TiO2,and Zr/TiO2).Their similar detrital zircon age distributions further indicate the link between the bauxite deposits and the clastic rocks and argillaceous *** age spectra of clastic rocks of the Lower Silurian Hanchiatien Formation in northern guizhou match those of the bauxite deposits,with a maximum age peak at-980 Ma and other secondary age peaks,suggesting these clastic rocks may represent the provenance of the bauxite *** youngest detrital zircons(-445 Ma)occur only in the bauxite deposits and are probably sourced from K-bentonite beds of the Ordovician-Silurian *** analyses indicate that the source materials of the bauxite deposits in the Jiujialu Formation are of mixed provenance:Lower-Middle Ordovician aluminosilicate rocks and argillaceous dolostones of the underlying strata,and Lower Silurian clastic rocks and K-bentonite from adjacent areas.A comparison of Early Carboniferous bauxitic provenances in northern and central guizhou indicates that paleotopography was the major factor controlling the provenance of these bauxite deposits.

The Jiadi and Damaidi gold deposits in southwest guizhou Province are the largest basalt-hosted Carlintype gold deposits recently discovered in *** study uses the Tescan Integrated mineral Analyzer,supported by detailed field investigations,regional geological data,and extensive sample collections,including mineralized ore,altered wall rock,and unaltered basalt samples,for orebearing and geochemical *** analysis between altered and unaltered basalt samples revealed a mineral assemblage of sericite,quartz,and *** mineral composition forms through the hydrothermal alteration of unaltered basalt,originally containing feldspar,pyroxene,and *** wall rock primarily features sericite,quartz,and *** the alteration process,major,trace,and rare earth elements notably *** the Jiadi deposit,K_(2)O,Rb,Au,and REE significantly increase,while Na_(2)O,CaO,MgO,and MnO ***_(2),Al_(2)O_(3),and Fe_(2)O_(3)levels remain relatively *** the Damaidi deposit,K_(2)O,Rb,and Au enrich,contrasting with the depletion of Na_(2)O,CaO,MgO,and MnO,while SiO_(2),Fe_(2)O_(3),Al_(2)O_(3),TiO_(2),and REE show no significant *** the wall rock,TiO_(2),Al_(2)O_(3),K_(2)O,and REE increase,while Na_(2)O,CaO,MgO,and MnO decrease;SiO_(2)and Fe_(2)O_(3)content remains *** mineralization process likely originated from mid-to low-temperature,reductive magmatic hydrothermal fluids rich in CO_(2),CH_(4),N_(2),H^(+),S^(2-),HS^(-),H_(3)AsO_(3),and[Au(HS_(2)]^(-).These fluids migrated to tectonically weak zones in the Lianhuashan area,where Emeishan basalts are *** reacted with Fe-bearing minerals in the basalt,such as ferro-hornblende and ilmenite,forming pyrite,arsenic-bearing pyrite,and arsenopyrite,thus enriching Au in these ***,K^(+)and H^(+)in the fluid reacted with plagioclase in the basalt,forming sericite and *** the fluid entered the wall rock from structural weak zones,its oxidation i

Objective As the uplift belt on the southem margin of the Tarim block, the Tiekelike block consists mainly of a set of Precambrian metamorphic rocks with granulite and gneisses. The Heluositan group-complex is the most ancient rock series in the area, and is a key area for studying the formation and evolution of the Precambrian basement of the Tarim craton. LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating and Hf isotopic analysis of granulite in this area provide new evidence for revealing the formation and evolution of the Precambrian basement in the Tarim Basin.

Human-machine interactions(HMIs)have advanced rapidly in recent decades in the fields of healthcare,work,and ***,people with disabilities and other mobility problems do not have corresponding high-tech aids for them to enjoy the convenience of *** this paper,we propose a sensor with a wave-shaped(corrugated)electrode embedded in a friction layer,which exhibits high sensitivity to skin fold excitation and enormous potential in *** to the wave-shaped electrode design,it has no built-in cavities,and its small size allows it to flexibly cope with folds at different *** specifying the carbon nanotube hybrid silicone film as the electrode layer material and silicone film as the friction layer,good electrical output performance,tensile properties,and biocompatibility can be ***,the sensor is tested on various joints and skin folds of the human body,the output signals of which can be distinguished between normal physiological behavior and test *** on this sensor,we designed a medical alarm system,a robotic arm assistive system,and a cell phone application control system for the disabled to help them in the fields of healthcare,work,and *** conclusion,our research presents a feasible technology to enhance HMIs and makes a valuable contribution to the development of high-tech aids for the disabled.

Sedimentary Features and Paleogeographic Evolution of the Middle Permian Trough Basin in Zunyi,guizhou,South China

Based on detailed field surveys,numerous sections and drillcores as well as analyses of lithofacies and sedimentary facies,sedimentary differentiation in the Middle Permian Zunyi(northern guizhou,South China)trough basin was studied in *** by activities of the Emeishan mantle plume,the regional extensional setting and the extinguishing of carbonate production factories were shown from guizhou to *** types of sedimentary enironments were developed in the study area:platform,slope,and *** this work,we established a sedimentary model for the study area,identified 14 syndepositional faults,and created the detailed reconstruction of the trough basin via a sedimentological *** is found that the paleogeographic evolution of the study area can be divided into six stages:(1)a pre-rifting stage,(2)rapid rifting and subsidence,(3)stable rifting and subsidence,(4)the second stage of rifting and subsidence,(5)silicification,and(6)regional uplift and *** sedimentary features and paleogeographic evolution of the Maokou Formation in Zunyi show that the platform,slope,and basin sedimentary features *** addition,the extensional setting and extinguishing of carbonate production factories were important preconditions for the evolution of the platform region in the study area,and the activity of syndepositional faults also played an important role in the paleogeographic evolution of this area.
