Effect of rare earth on primary carbides in H13 die steel and their addition method:a review

Research on the Application of Evidence-Based Quality Control Circle to Improve the Implementation Rate of Airway Management Measures in Adult Critically Ill Patients

Objective: To explore the effect of evidence-based quality control circle (QCC) in improving the implementation rate of airway management measures in adult critically ill patients. Methods: Based on the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) evidence-based health care model, the best evidence of airway management in adult critically ill patients was obtained and applied to the clinic. Results: The total implementation rate of airway management measures in adult critically ill patients increased from 23.62% before the implementation of quality control circle to 88.82%, and the pulmonary infection rate in critically ill patients decreased from 42.31% to 21.74%, with statistical significance between the two groups (P 0.05). Conclusion: Evidence-based quality control circle activities can standardize the practice standards of airway management in critically ill patients, reduce the occurrence of patients’ airway related complications, and improve clinical outcomes.

Characterization of aroma compounds of Pu-erh ripen tea using solvent assisted flavor evaporation coupled with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry and gas chromatography-olfactometry

Pu-erh ripen tea becomes popular worldwide owing to its unique taste and *** the present study,volatile compounds from Pu-erh ripen tea were extracted using a solvent assisted flavor evaporation(SAFE)and analyzed with a gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS)and a gas chromatography olfactometry(GC-O).Results demonstrated that 58 major volatile compounds and 24 aroma active substances of Pu-erh ripen tea were identified by GC-MS and GC-O *** volatile compounds identified,methoxyphenyl compounds were considered as the dominate compounds in the aroma of Pu-erh ripen *** investigation showed that 6 methoxybenzenes were responsible for the aging aroma in Pu-erh ripen tea;α-ionone,3,4-dimethoxytoluene,1,3-dimethoxybenzene,*** responsible for the wood-like ***,α-terpineol,α-ionone,β-ionone,and benzeneacetaldehyde were responsible for the floral *** the odor detection threshold(ODT)among the 8 methoxyphenyl compounds in water,1,2,3-trimethoxybenzene showed the highest ODT,followed by 3,4-dimethoxyphenol.1,3-dimethoxybenzene(105μg/L)and 1,2,3-trimethoxy-5-methylbenzene(100μg/L)were present at relatively low odor threshold *** result indicated that methoxyphenyl compounds play a vital role in the unique flavor of Pu-erh ripen tea.

Hopf Bifurcation Control of a Hyperchaotic Circuit System

This paper is concerned with the Hopf bifurcation control of a new hyperchaotic circuit system. The stability of the hyperchaotie circuit system depends on a selected control parameter is studied, and the critical value of the system parameter at which Hopf bifurcation occurs is investigated. Theoretical analysis give the stability of the Hopf bifurcation. In particular, washout filter aided feedback controllers are designed for delaying the bifurcation point and ensuring the stability of the bifurcated limit cycles. An important feature of the control laws is that they do not result in any change in the set of equilibria. Computer simulation results are presented to confirm the analytical predictions.

Nanoparticle-strengthened Ni_(2)CoCrNb_(0.2)medium-entropy alloy with an ultrastrong cryogenic yield strength fabricated by additive manufacturing

To improve the yield strength of metallic materials at low temperatures,a strategy of combining the calculation of phase diagrams(CALPHAD)technique with the overall valence electron concentration(OVEC)principle is applied,and a Ni_(2)CoCrNb_(0.2)medium-entropy alloy(MEA)with D022 superlattice(noted as theγ″phase)is *** MEA samples without defects were successfully fabricated using laser additive manufacturing(AM),followed by solution treatment at 1200℃for 1 h and then aging at 650℃for 120 *** nanoscaleγ″phase *** tensile results indicated that the MEA had superior yield strengths of∼1180 MPa and∼1320 MPa and tensile strengths of∼1335 MPa and∼1552 MPa at 293 K and 77 K,*** yield strength obtained was superior to that of currently reported medium/high-entropy alloys and typical advanced cryogenic *** mechanical properties of the Ni_(2)CoCrNb_(0.2)MEA demonstrated a strong temperature dependence,and the increased yield strength was mainly attributed to the increase in lattice friction stress at low *** research provides a new strategy for producing materials with ultrastrong cryogenic yield strengths by AM.

Rice leaves show lateral *** in width,thickness,chlorophyll meter readings,nitrogen content,density,and yield on each asymmetrical have been ***,limited information is available on the distribution characteristics of the smooth side(SS)and rough side(RS)of rice *** SS of rice leaves can be divided into two types according to its location in leaf:one is the smooth side appearing on the left(SSAL)of the leaf,while the smooth side of the other type appears on the right(SSAR).Through the investigation of four rice varieties,we identified that the proportion of SSAL or SSAR of flag leaves on main stems or tillers was close to 0.50 in the rice *** the same tiller stem,SSAL and SSAR present alternately,and the SS always stretches ahead of the RS in the curled *** the tiller flag leaves of a single rice plant,the proportion of tiller flag leaves with SSAL or SSAR to the total number of tillers is a discrete random *** distribution analysis of these proportions showed that the percent of frequency of some class limits was close to each other,and the ratios of percent of frequency of SSAL to SSAR were close to 1:*** our knowledge,this is a novel finding in rice canopy *** to this study,we can divide rice population into two groups in four hybrid rice varieties.

Parametric Study of an Underwater Finned Propulsor Inspired by Bluespotted Ray

The performance ofbluespotted rays was emulated in the design ofa bioinspired underwater propulsor in the present work. First, the movement of a live bluespotted ray was captured for the swimming mode and useful information to the biomimetic mechanism design. By virtue of the modular and reconfigurable design concept, an undulatory fin propulsion prototype was developed. With a proper experimental set-up, orthogonal experiments were conducted to investigate the effect of various fin design parameters on the propulsion speed, thrust, and power of the fish robot. The controllable fin parameters include frequency, amplitude, wavelength, fin shape, and undulatory mode. The significance of these parameters was also determined by using the variance analysis. The results demonstrate that the designed propulsor, imitating bluespotted rays with large expanded undulatory fins, is able to propel itself by changing various kinematic parameters.
