Uncovering offline event similarity of online friends by constructing null models

The emergence of Event-based Social Network(EBSN) data that contain both social and event information has cleared the way to study the social interactive relationship between the virtual interactions and physical interactions. In existing studies, it is not really clear which factors affect event similarity between online friends and the influence degree of each factor. In this study, a multi-layer network based on the Plancast service data is constructed. The the user’s events belongingness is shuffled by constructing two null models to detect offline event similarity between online friends. The results indicate that there is a strong correlation between online social proximity and offline event similarity. The micro-scale structures at multi-levels of the Plancast online social network are also maintained by constructing 0 k–3 k null models to study how the micro-scale characteristics of online networks affect the similarity of offline events. It is found that the assortativity pattern is a significant micro-scale characteristic to maintain offline event similarity. Finally, we study how structural diversity of online friends affects the offline event similarity. We find that the subgraph structure of common friends has no positive impact on event similarity while the number of common friends plays a key role, which is different from other studies. In addition, we discuss the randomness of different null models, which can measure the degree of information availability in privacy protection. Our study not only uncovers the factors that affect offline event similarity between friends but also presents a framework for understanding the pattern of human mobility.

Silicon(Si)anode has been considered a promising candidate due to its remarkable theoretical capacity but it was plagued by severe pulverization because of the inherent huge volume *** electrode stability is an effective approach to improve electrochemical ***,a stable Si anode was established by an innovative construction of the bonding between conductive agents and active materials/*** a result,the strong interaction of electrode components not only effectively alleviates the volume expansion of Si but also achieves a stable interface by generating the beneficial solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)*** to the deliberate scheme of the electrode,the Si anode exhibits sterling electrochemical ***,the device of the electrode is not only effective for other binders but also for other anode materials with high volume variation,thus shedding light on the rational design of electrodes for high-energy-density lithium-ion batteries.

Density functional calculations are used to determine structural and electronic properties of P4,P4O6,P4O10,P20O30 and P20O50 clusters and their protonated *** oxygen-rich phosphorus oxides are predicted to have relatively high stabilities with respect to their components P4 and O2,and their unsaturated P and end-on O atoms as the proton acceptor can accommodate multiple protons to generate highly positively charged cationic clusters,such as P20O30H1010＋.Calculations indicate that P4O6 and P20O30 have higher reactivity toward the proton capture than the P4,P4O10 and P20O50 clusters,and the most stable protonated clusters among these different series of cationic clusters are P4H2……2＋,P4O6H2^2＋,P4O10H3^3＋,P20O30H4^4＋ and P20O50H4^4＋,*** cage skeleton of the phosphorus oxide clusters shows high stability for the consecutive protonation,and the unsymmetrical stretching of the skeletal P-O bond and the wagging mode of P-H coupled with the P-O bond stretching have strong *** computational findings are useful for further experimental and theoretical studies of novel phosphorus oxide clusters and their highly positively charged derivatives.

Multiferroics are being studied increasingly in applications of photovoltaic devices for the carrier separation driven by polarization and *** this work,textured black silicon photovoltaic devices are fabricated with Bi_(6)Fe_(1.6)Co_(0.2)Ni_(0.2)Ti_(3)O_(18)/Bi_(2)FeCrO_(6)(BFCNT/BFCO)multiferroic heterojunction as an absorber and graphene as an *** structural and optical analyses showed that the bandgap of Aurivillius-typed BFCNT and double perovskite BFCO are 1.62±0.04 eV and 1.74±0.04 eV respectively,meeting the requirements for the active layer in solar *** the simulated AM 1.5 G illumination,the black silicon photovoltaic devices delivered a photoconversion efficiency(η)of 3.9%with open-circuit voltage(Voc),short-circuit current density(Jsc),and fill factor(FF)of 0.75 V,10.8 mA cm^(-2),and 48.3%,*** of modulation of an applied electric and magnetic field on the photovoltaic properties revealed that both polarization and magnetization of multiferroics play an important role in tuning the built-in electric field and the transport mechanisms of charge carriers,thus providing a new idea for the design of future high-performance multiferroic oxide photovoltaic devices.

Background: Air temperature affects absorptive root traits, which are closely related to species ***, it is still unclear how air temperature regulates species distribution through changes in absorptive root traits. Seven functional traits of the absorptive roots of 240 individuals of 52 species, soil properties and air temperature were measured along an elevational gradient on Mt. Fanjingshan, Tongren City, guizhou, and then the direct and indirect effects of these controls on species distribution were ***: Absorptive roots adapted to air temperature with two strategies. The first strategy was positively associated with the specific root area(SRA) and specific root length(SRL) and was negatively associated with the root tissue density(RTD), representing the classic root economics spectrum(RES). The second strategy was represented by the trade-off between root diameter, mycorrhizal fungi colonization(MF) and SRL, representing the collaboration gradient with “do it yourself” resource uptake ranging from “outsourcing” to mycorrhizal resource uptake. Air temperature regulated species distribution in six ways: directly reducing species importance value;indirectly increasing the species importance value by reducing soil nitrogen content or increasing soil pH by reducing soil moisture inducing absorptive roots to change from “do it yourself” resource absorption to “outsourcing” resource absorption;indirectly decreasing the species importance value by decreasing soil moisture to change from“outsourcing”resource absorption to “do it yourself” resource absorption;indirectly increasing the species importance value with increasing soil pH by reducing soil moisture resulting in absorptive root traits turning into nutrient foraging traits;and indirectly decreasing the species importance value by promoting absorptive root traits to nutrient conservation ***: Absorptive root traits play a crucial role in the regulation of species distri

The fcc structural CoCr2 FeNiTi(0.5) high-entropy alloy(HEA) composite coating with TiN particles reinforced was acquired by laser cladding on the commercial904 L stainless *** results show that phase structure is mainly composed of fcc solid solution and TiN *** coating exhibits excellent structural stability below850℃.The microstructure consists of irregular dendrite and TiN *** electron microscopy(TEM) results reveal that the close-packed plane of fcc phase is(111) with interplanar spacing of ~ 0.208 *** interface between TiN and fcc matrix is *** the angle of boundary between dendrite and matrix is ~ 65°.The hardness and corrosion resistance of coating have much improvement compared with those of substrate.

The value-added utilization of okara is restricted by the large particle size and high cost of microfabrication *** this study,the changes of particle size and dietary fiber content of okara treated with K_(2)CO_(3) are investigated,and the effects of micronized okara(MO)(0%,8%,16%,24%)on the physicochemical quality and in vitro starch digestion of rice tofu(RT)are further *** particle size of okara varied from 458.24μm to 37.06μm by being treated with K_(2)CO_(3).The quality results of microfined okara rice tofu(MO-RT)products showed that dietary fiber and yield increased gradually while whiteness *** addition,texture profile analysis results revealed that MO enhanced the viscosity of RT,but decreased the hardness,cohesiveness and *** results revealed that MO(8%,16%)could combine well with starch ***,adding MO significantly increased the resistant starch(RS)of RT and decreased the predicted glycemic index(p GI).XRD and FTIR indicated that the addition of MO increased the crystallization area and changed the multi-scale ***,the present study proposed a low-cost and safe method of reducing the particle size of okara,and presented the potential to change the physicochemical quality and starch digestion of rice tofu.

The recognized energy storage mechanism of neutral aqueous zinc-manganese batteries is the co-insertion/extrusion of H^(+) and Zn^(2+) ***,modulating the kinetics of a single H^(+) or Zn^(2+) ion is scarce,which can provide meaningful insights into the energy storage mechanism of Zn ion ***,a distinctive doubly electric field in-situ induced cationic anchoring of two-dimensional layered MnO_(2) is successfully constructed to modulate the insertion/extrusion of a single H^(+) or Zn^(2+) *** a result,regulating the intercalation of different metal ions can precisely achieve the accelerated induction for the individual H^(+) or Zn^(2+) ions intercalation/***,the introduction of metal ions stabilizes the lattice distortion and alleviates the irreparable structural collapse,leading to an increase in the H^(+)/Zn^(2+) storage sites,efficiently diminishing the stagnation of the ordered structure and creating the more open channels,which is conducive to facilitating the diffusion of *** work delivers some innovative insights into pre-embedding strategies,and also serves as a precious reference for the cathode development of advanced aqueous batteries.
