Although exposure to air pollution increases the risk of premature mortality and years of life lost(YLL),the effects of daily air quality improvement to the life expectancy of respiratory diseases remained *** applied a generalized additive model(GAM)to assess the associations between daily PM_(2.5) exposure and YLL from respiratory diseases in 96 Chinese cities during 2013–*** further estimated the avoidable YLL,potential gains in life expectancy,and the attributable fraction by assuming dailyPM_(2.5) concentration decrease to the air quality standards of China and World Health *** and national results were generated by random-effects meta-analysis.A total of 861,494 total respiratory diseases and 586,962 chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)caused death from 96 Chinese cities were recorded during study *** 10 mg/m3 increase of PM_(2.5) in 3-day moving average(lag02)was associated with 0.16(95%CI:0.08,0.24)years increment in life expectancy from total respiratory *** highest effect was observed in Southwest region with 0.42(95%CI:0.22,0.62)years increase in life *** attaining the WHO's Air Quality Guidelines,we estimated that an average of 782.09(95%CI:438.29,1125.89)YLLs caused by total respiratory death in each city could be avoided,which corresponded to 1.15%(95%CI:0.67%,1.64%)of the overall YLLs,and 0.12(95%CI:0.07,0.17)years increment in life *** results of COPD were generally consistent with total respiratory *** findings indicate that reduction in daily PM_(2.5) concentrations might lead to longer life expectancy from respiratory death.

HIV remains a global health challenge,and research efforts directed towards a functional cure require people living with HIV(PLHIV)in-volvement in clinical *** study assessed willingness to participate in HIV functional cure–related clinical trials and associated factors among PLHIV in guangzhou,China,using a questionnaire survey *** analyzed responses from 718 questionnaires,finding that 71.2%were willing to participate in Phase Ⅲtrials,while 51.7%were willing to participate in Phase I trials and 42.9%expressed acceptability for analytic treatment *** logistic regression demonstrated that male PLHIV,those with awareness of functional cure,and PLHIV,who had been on antiretroviral therapy(ART)for less than 1 year,were more willing to partic-ipate in Phase Ⅲ*** with a body mass index greater than 24,and those without resistance to ART drug were more willing to participate in Phase I *** major motivations for participation in Phase Ⅲtrials were access to cutting-edge treatments(62.6%)and supporting research(55.3%).Safety was the main concern contributing to *** study revealed a high willingness to participate in HIV functional cure–related trials among PLHIV in guangzhou,China,and willingness varied across different trial phases and was influenced by multiple *** study provides valuable references for future clinical trial recruitment strategies and public health policy formulation.

An isothermal graphene oxide （GO）-based SYBR Green I fluorescence platform for sensitive detection of RNA transcription levels is proposed. Briefly, a synthesized T7 DNA template was transcribed by T7 RNA polymerase, to produce many copies of single-stranded （ss） RNA transcripts. The ssRNA transcripts were then hybridized with a label-free ssDNA probe which alone will be adsorbed on the GO surface. The resultant double-stranded （ds） RNA：DNA hybrids were incubated with GO and SYBR Green 1. Then the hybrid binding with SYBR Green I emits enhanced fluorescence for detection. Experimental results show that the detection limit of the method is 0.5 pmol]L of T7 DNA template. A calibration curve with a linearity range of 0.5 pmol[L to 5 nmol/L is established, thus, making quantitative analysis feasible. The method may become a powerful tool for RNA transcription detection due to its sensitivity, rapidity and convenience.
