Dynamic transfer and driving mechanisms of the coupling and coordination of agricultural resilience and rural land use efficiency in China

The joint study of agriculture and rural areas is of great significance for safeguarding agricultural development,revitalizing rural areas,and enhancing farmers'*** paper aims to assess the spatiotemporal evolution characteristics of the coupling and coordination degree of agricultural resilience and rural land use efficiency and their dynamic transfer law and driving mechanisms,based on panel data of 31 provinces(municipalities and autonomous regions)in China from 2010 to *** results showed:(1)Good coupling and coordination of agricultural resilience and rural land use efficiency,with reduced temporal differentiation degrees between regions;(2)Significant spatial autocorrelation between the overall coupling and coordination degrees of agricultural resilience and rural land use efficiency,forming cold spot and hot spot spatial patterns in the western and eastern parts,respectively,with a central transition area;(3)A spillover effect of the dynamic transfer process,with a manifested specific law as"club convergence","Matthew effect",and progressive development characteristics;(4)The key roles of the natural,social,economic,and policy indicators in the coupling and coordination development process of agricultural resilience and rural land use ***,the selected indicators showed substantial spatial differences in their influences on the coupling and coordination process between provinces.

The micaceous weathered granitic soil(WGS)is frequently encountered in civil engineering worldwide,unfortunately little information is available regarding how mica affects the physico-mechanical behaviors of *** study prepares reconstituted WGS with different mica contents by removing natural mica in theWGS,and then mixes it with commercial mica *** geotechnical behavior as well as the microstructures of the mixtures are *** addition of mica enables the physical indices of WGS to be specific combinations of coarser gradation and high permeability but high Atterberg ***,high mica content in WGS was found to be associated with undesirable mechanical properties,including increased compressibility,disintegration,and swelling potential,as well as poor compactability and low effective frictional *** analysis indicates that the influence of mica on the responses of mixtures originates from the intrinsic nature of mica as well as the particle packing being formed *** exists in the mixture as stacks of plates that form a spongy structure with high compressibility and swelling *** among the plates give the soil high water retention and high Atterberg *** pores are also generated by soil particles with bridging packing,which enhances the permeability and water-soil interactions upon *** study provides a microlevel understanding of how mica dominates the behavior of WGS and provides new insights into the effective stabilization and improvement of micaceous soils.

Building occupant presence during varying periods is crucial to the performance studies of buildings and city ***,the understanding of the building occupancies on the university campus remains *** address this gap,our study employs field measurements,payment records,course arrangements,and building access systems to depict the occupancy patterns of the canteen,dormitory,library,and teaching and lab buildings during weekdays and *** found that the occupancy rates across different buildings are somehow interrelated,given that the total number of occupants on campus is generally ***,dormitory occupancy rates tend to be low during the morning and afternoon course hours,which inversely correlates with the high occupancy rates in the teaching and lab buildings during these ***,canteens experience surges in occupancy during meal times,which coincide with a decrease in library ***,we established appliance operation schedules for dormitories through surveys and on-site *** dispensers and electronic devices were identified as the primary energy consumers for both male and female occupants,with desk-top fans and hairdryers being significant energy users for male and female occupants,*** findings are essential for energy studies within a campus setting,underlining the importance of considering occupant behaviors on a regional scale.

The inter-city linkage heat data provided by Baidu Migration is employed as a characterization of inter-city linkages in order to facilitate the study of the network linkage characteristics and hierarchical structure of urban agglomeration in the Greater Bay Area through the use of social network analysis *** is the inaugural application of big data based on location services in the study of urban agglomeration network structure,which represents a novel research perspective on this *** study reveals that the density of network linkages in the Greater Bay Area urban agglomeration has reached 100%,indicating a mature network-like spatial *** structure has given rise to three distinct communities:Shenzhen-Dongguan-Huizhou,guangzhou-Foshan-Zhaoqing,and ***,cities within the Greater Bay Area urban agglomeration play different roles,suggesting that varying development strategies may be necessary to achieve staggered *** study demonstrates that large datasets represented by LBS can offer novel insights and methodologies for the examination of urban agglomeration network structures,contingent on the appropriate mining and processing of the data.

The literature on urban vitality tends to focus on the built *** paper argues that some important processes in shaping vitality may be overlooked without examining the intensity and diversity of economic and human *** newly developed spatial big data and adopting the methods of multi-indicator measurement and spatial analysis methods,we analyzed the pattern of urban vitality in Chongqing,a provincial city in western China and,on this basis,evaluated the creation and maintenance of urban vitality from the economic and human activities *** findings indicate that the impacts of economic and human activities are positive and *** the three intensity and diversity indicators,economic intensity and population density show an effect on urban vitality stronger than that of economic ***,economic diversity has the strongest superposition or interactive effect,and is thus an important foundation *** positive effect of population density on urban vitality is largely a result of Chongqing’s jobs-housing *** case of Chongqing highlights the importance of topographic features,historical inheritance,large-scale migration,and cultural activities in shaping the distinctive vitality pattern of a *** study contends that the creation and maintenance of urban vitality can not be fully explained without incorporating the impacts of economic and human *** contributes to a comprehensive measurement of urban vitality and enriches its connotations.

Accessibility and Fairness of Public Service Facilities from the Perspective of Supply and Demand Coordination: A Case Study of Old urban Area of guangzhou City

The accessibility and fairness of public service facilities are important manifestations of the convenience and equality of urban public service resource *** the layout of urban public service facilities is an inevitable requirement for promoting the construction of people centered *** paper takes the old urban area of guangzhou as the research area,measures the accessibility of multiple types of public service facilities based on an improved two-step floating catchment method,and combines Palma Ratio and location quotient methods to explore the fairness of urban public service facilities from two dimensions:social equity and spatial equity,with supply and demand relationship analysis as the main *** has shown that:①there is a significant spatial difference in the accessibility of public service facilities in the old urban areas of guangzhou,and the comprehensive accessibility is generally higher in the central and southeastern regions of the old urban areas with fewer residential populations;②from the perspective of social equity,the resource allocation of public service facilities in the old urban areas of guangzhou is in a seriously unfair state(with a fairness index of 2.99),and there are also varying degrees of unfairness within the streets;③from the perspective of spatial equity,the location quotient of public service facilities in the old urban areas of guangzhou shows a pattern of multil center circles decreasing,indicating a significant spatial mismatch between the accessibility supply side of public service facilities and the demand side of the residential *** research conclusion will provide scientific basis for optimizing the allocation of urban public service facilities and ensuring the equalization of public services.
