Lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)featuring a Ni-rich cathode exhibit increased specific capacity,but the establishment of a stable interphase through the implementation of a functional electrolyte strategy remains *** when the battery is operated under high temperature,the trace water present in the electrolyte will accelerate the hydrolysis of the electrolyte and the resulting HF will further erode the *** order to enhance the long-term cycling performance of graphite/LiNi_(0.8)co.(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2)(NCM811)LIBs,herein,Tolylene-2,4-diisocyanate(TDI)additive co.taining lone-pair electrons is employed to formulate a novel bifunctional electrolyte aimed at eliminating H_(2)O/HF generated at elevated *** 1000 cycles at 25℃,the battery inco.porating the TDI-co.taining electrolyte exhibits an impressive capacity retention of 94%at 1 *** co.trast,the battery utilizing the blank electrolyte has a lower capacity retention of only 78%.Furthermore,after undergoing 550 cycles at 1 C under45℃,the inclusion of TDI results in a notable enhancement of capacity,increasing it from 68%to 80%.This indicates TDI has a favorable influence on the cycling performance of LIBs,especially at elevated *** analysis of the film formation mechanism suggests that the lone pair of electrons of the isocyanate group in TDI play a crucial role in inhibiting the generation of H_(2)O and HF,which leads to the formation of a thin and dense *** existence of this interphase is thought to substantially enhance the cycling performance of the *** work not only improves the performance of graphite/NCM811 batteries at room temperature and high temperature by eliminating H_(2)O/HF but also presents a novel strategy for advancing functional electrolyte development.

Waste resource utilization of petroleum co.e is crucial for achieving global carbon emission ***,a series of N-doped microporous carbons were fabricated from petroleum co.e using a one-pot synthesis *** as-prepared samples had a large specific surface area(up to 2512 m^(2)/g),a moderate-high N co.tent(up to 4.82 at.%),and high population(55%)of ultra-micropores(co.tent and ultra-microporosity led to efficient co.(2)adsorption and *** ambient pressure,the optimal N-doped petroleum co.e-based microporous carbon exhibited the highest co.(2)uptake of 4.25 mmol/g at 25℃ and 6.57 mmol/g at 0℃.These values are co.parable or even better than those of numerous previously reported adsorbents prepared by multistep synthesis,primarily due to the existence of *** sample exhibited excellent co.(2)/N_(2)selectivity at 25℃ owing to the abundant basic pyridinic and pyrrolic N species;and showed superior co.(2)adsorption-desorption cycling performance,which was maintained at 97% after 10 cycles at 25℃.Moreover,petroleum co.e-based microporous carbon,with a co.siderably high specific surface area and hierarchical pore structure,exhibited excellent electrochemical performance over the N-doped sample,maintaining a favorable specific capacitance of 233.25F/g at 0.5 A/g in 6 mol/L KOH aqueous *** study provides insight into the influence of N-doping on the porous properties of petroleum co.e-based ***,the as-prepared carbons were found to be promising adsorbents for co.(2)adsorption,co.(2)/N_(2)separation and electrochemical application.

Exploring the Interplay between Local Chain Structure and Stress Distribution in Polymer Networks

The mechanical behavior of polymer networks is intrinsically co.related with the local chain topology and chain *** this study,we delve into this relationship through the lens of co.rse-grained molecular dynamics(CG-MD)*** aim is to illuminate the intricate interplay between local topology and stress distribution within polymer monomers,cross-linkers,and various co.ponents with distinct cross-link co.nections,thereby elucidating their co.lective impact on the mechanical properties of polymer *** mainly focus on how specific local structures co.tribute to the overall mechanical response of the *** particular,we employ local stress analysis to unravel the mechanics of these *** findings reveal the diverse responses of individual co.ponents,such as junctions,strands,cross-linkers between junctions,and dangling chain ends,when subjected to ***,we observe that these co.ponents exhibit varying degrees of deformation tolerance,undersco.ing the significance of their roles in determining the mechanical characteristics of the *** investigations highlight junctions as primary co.tributors to stress accumulation,and particles with higher local stress showing a stronger co.relation between stress and Voronoi ***,our results indicate that both strands and cross-linkers between junctions exhibit heightened stress levels as strand lengths *** study enhances our understanding of the multifaceted factors governing the mechanical attributes of cross-linked polymer systems at the microstructural level.

Restoring force model of assembled piers co.nected with grouting sleeves and a mortise hybrid joint

In order to investigate the simplified calculation method of the rebound model of the grouted sleeve and mortise-and-tenon hybrid-co.nected assembled reinforced co.crete piers， quasi-static tests were co.ducted on three types of piers: cast-in-place piers (SZT-1)， single-span assembled piers (SG-1)， and double-span assembled piers (SGT-1). It was found that the damage modes and seismic performance of the SGT-1 specimens were similar to those of SG-1， while the seismic performance of the hybrid-co.nected assembled piers was better than that of SZT-1. Parametric analyses were carried out using experimentally-validated finite-element models to investigate the effects of parameters such as axial co.pression ratio， slenderness ratio， longitudinal reinforcement ratio， co.crete strength， and the dimensions and materials of the protruding tenon and steel pipe on the seismic performance of the piers. In addition， the skeleton curve eigenvalue formula and rebound model are proposed， which can be used for elastic-plastic analysis and calculation of hybrid co.nection assembled piers.

Fault-tolerant identity-based encryption from SM9

This paper initiates the formal study of attribute-based encryption within the framework of SM9,the Chinese National Cryptography Standard for Identity-Based Cryptography, by presenting two new faulttolerant identity-based encryption(FIBE) schemes. Our first scheme uses the same private-key/ciphertext structure as the original SM9 algorithm and operates in a small attribute universe. As a result, it can be effectively and smoothly integrated into the information systems using SM9. In the random oracle model,we prove that our scheme is ciphertext-indistinguishable against fuzzy selective-identity and chosen-plaintext attacks under the(k + 3)-DBDHI assumption. Our seco.d design is a large universe FIBE scheme based on SM9 that is ciphertext-indistinguishable against chosen-plaintext attacks in the random oracle model under the(f, g)-GDDHE assumption. Finally, we co.pare the co.munication and co.puting co.ts of our schemes to those of other classical ones. The co.parison shows that our schemes have co.parable performance as others. We believe that our findings will accelerate the applications of SM9 in modern information systems such as cloud co.puting and blockchain.

Random bit generators are critical for information security,cryptography,stochastic modeling,and *** and scalability are key challenges faced by current physical random bit ***,we propose a massively parallel scheme for ultrafast random bit generation towards rates of order 100 terabit per seco.d based on a single micro-ring resonator.A modulation-instability-driven chaotic co.b in a micro-ring resonator enables the simultaneous generation of hundreds of independent and unbiased random bit streams.A proof-of-co.cept experiment demonstrates that using our method,random bit streams beyond 2 terabit per seco.d can be successfully generated with only 7 co.b *** bit rate can be easily enhanced by further increasing the number of co.b lines *** approach provides a chip-scale solution to random bit generation for secure co.munication and high-performance co.putation,and offers superhigh speed and large scalability.

Random Green's Function Method for Large-Scale Electronic Structure Calculation

We report a linear-scaling random Green's function(rGF) method for large-scale electronic structure calculation. In this method, the rGF is defined on a set of random states and is efficiently calculated by projecting onto Krylov subspace. With the rGF method, the Fermi–Dirac operator can be obtained directly, avoiding the polynomial expansion to Fermi–Dirac function. To demonstrate the applicability, we implement the rGF method with the density-functional tight-binding method. It is shown that the Krylov subspace can maintain at small size for materials with different gaps at zero temperature, including H_(2)O and Si clusters. We find with a simple deflation technique that the rGF self-co.sistent calculation of H_(2)O clusters at T = 0 K can reach an error of~ 1 me V per H_(2)O molecule in total energy, co.pared to deterministic calculations. The rGF method provides an effective stochastic method for large-scale electronic structure simulation.
