Active exploration has been carried out to determine a pattern for developing green eco-urban areas in the Starting Area of guangzhou International Financial City with an emphasis on the core role of comprehensive green *** comparing and analyzing existing research,development of green technologies at home and abroad,and indicator systems of green urban areas of similar sizes,the builders developed a green ecological indicator *** proposed a new concept called"district-level indicator" in order to emphasize the importance of classifying indicators according to different project *** verifying the indicators for all land parcels and assessing future costs and efficiency,experience accumulated in this project can be beneficial for future green eco-urban area development projects.

With the focus of highway development transitioning from construction to maintenance,a comprehensive understanding of the characteristics and influencing factors of carbon dioxide(CO_(2))emissions from highway maintenance activities is crucial for formulating effective strategies to promote the low-carbon development of road ***,the quantitative relationships between CO_(2) emissions from highway maintenance schemes and factors such as pavement deterioration,traffic volume,and road grade remain unclear owing to a lack of compre-hensive,multi-category,and real *** real maintenance data from 340 arterial highway segments in China,this study conducts the life cycle assessment(LCA)to estimate CO_(2) emissions from maintenance activities and examines the primary emission sources among various structural layers and ***,multiple linear regression(MLR)analysis is conducted to investigate the impact of traffic volume,road grade,and pavement deterioration on CO_(2) emissions from maintenance projects,and factors influencing the early-stage degradation of pavement *** results demonstrate that average CO_(2) emissions from heavy rehabilitation projects are 6.97 times higher than those from medium rehabilitation *** from heavy rehabilitation projects exhibit a significantly negative linear relationship with the riding quality index(RQI)before maintenance(pprojects show a significant negative linear relationship with the pavement condition index(PCI)before maintenance(pprojects are significantly positively correlated with heavy vehicle traffic volume before maintenance(p<0.05).Moreover,the early-stage degradation of PCI after heavy rehabilitation and RQI after medium rehabilitation exhibit significantly negative linear relationships with their respective in-dicators before maintenance(p<0.05).The early-stage d

In the United States(US),the Surveillance,Epidemiology,and End Results(SEER)program is the only comprehensive source of population-based information that includes stage of cancer at the time of diagnosis and patient survival *** program aims to provide a database about cancer incidence and survival for studies of surveillance and the development of analytical and methodological tools in the cancer ***,the SEER program covers approximately half of the total cancer patients in the US.A growing number of clinical studies have applied the SEER database in various ***,the intrinsic features of the SEER database,such as the huge data volume and complexity of data types,have hindered its *** this review,we provided a systematic overview of the commonly used methodologies and study designs for retrospective epidemiological research in order to illustrate the application of the SEER ***,the goal of this review is to assist researchers in the selection of appropriate methods and study designs for enhancing the robustness and reliability of clinical studies by mining the SEER database.

Assessing the cost reduction potential of CCUS cluster projects of coal-fired plants in Guangdong Province in China

Carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) have garnered extensive attention as a target of carbon neutrality in China. The development trend of international CCUS projects indicates that the cluster construction of CCUS projects is the main direction of future development. The cost reduction potential of CCUS cluster projects has become a significant issue for CCUS stakeholders. To assess the cost reduction potential of CCUS cluster projects, we selected three coal-fired power plants in the coastal area of Guangdong as research targets. We initially assessed the costs of building individual CCUS projects for each plant and subsequently designed a CCUS cluster project for these plants. By comparing individual costs and CCUS cluster project costs, we assessed the cost reduction potential of CCUS cluster projects. The results show that the unit emission reduction cost for each plant with a capacity of 300 million tonnes per year is 392.34, 336.09, and 334.92 CNY/tCO_(2). By building CCUS cluster project, it could save 56.43 CNY/tCO_(2) over the average cost of individual projects (354.45 CNY/tCO_(2)) when the total capture capacity is 9 million tonnes per year (by 15.92%). Furthermore, we conducted a simulation for the scenario of a smaller designed capture capacity for each plant. We found that as the capture scale increases, the cost reduction potential is higher in the future.

Background:Shenzao dripping pill(SZDP)is empirically prescribed for treating cardiac ***,there is a lack of comprehensive knowledge regarding the underlying mechanisms contributing to its therapeutic *** objective of this study is to investigate the underlying mechanism of SZDP against chronic myocardial ischemia(CMI)in a rat ***:In this study,we utilized electrocardiographic and echocardiographic detection along with pathological tissue analysis to evaluate the efficacy of *** integration of network pharmacology and metabolomics was conducted to investigate the *** docking and molecular dynamics simulations were used to validate the binding energy between the compounds of SZDP and the associated ***:The results showed that SZDP was able to improve T wave voltage,reverse CMI abnormalities in ejection fraction and fractional shortening,and restore histopathological heart *** results indicated that disturbances of metabolic profile in CMI rats were partly corrected after SZDP administration,mainly affecting purine metabolism.13-Docosenamide may be the potential metabolic biomarker of the therapeutic application of SZDP for *** network pharmacology and metabolomics,thiopurine S-methyltransferase(TPMT),xanthine dehydrogenase/oxidase(XDH),bifunctional purine biosynthesis protein ATIC(ATIC),and cytochrome p4501A1(CYP1A1)were identified as possible targets of SZDP to exert therapeutic effects by enhancing the metabolic levels of L-Tryptophan,Deoxyribose 1-phosphate and Phosphoribosyl ***:SZDP has a therapeutic effect on CMI by regulating metabolite levels,acting on the targets of TMPT,XDH,ATIC,and CYP1A1,and reducing cardiomyocyte injury and myocardial fibrosis.

Objective:This study aimed to investigate the potential of human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cell(hucMSC)-derived exosomes(hucMSC-Exos)in inhibiting hypoxia-induced cell hyper proliferation and overexpression of vascular endothelial growth factor A(VEGF-A)in immature human fetal retinal microvascular endothelial cells(hfRMECs).Methods:Exosomes were isolated from hucMSCs using cryogenic ultracentrifugation and characterized through various techniques,including transmission electron microscopy,nanoparticle tracking analysis,bicinchoninic acid assays,and western *** hfRMECs were identified using von Willebrand factor(vWF)co-staining and divided into four groups:a control group cultured under normoxic condition,a hypoxic model group,a hypoxic group treated with low-concentration hucMSC-Exos(75μg/mL)and a hypoxic group treated with high-concentration hucMSC-Exos(100μg/mL).Cell viability and proliferation were assessed using Cell Counting Kit-8(CCK-8)assay and EdU(5-ethynyl-2′-deoxyuridine)assay *** levels of VEGF-A were evaluated using RT-PCR,western blotting and ***:Hypoxia significantly increased hfRMECs’viability and proliferation by upregulating VEGF-A *** administration of hucMSC-Exos effectively reversed this response,with the high-concentration group exhibiting greater efficacy compared to the lowconcentration ***:In conclusion,hucMSC-Exos can dose-dependently inhibit hypoxia-induced hyperproliferation and VEGF-A overexpression in immature fetal retinal microvascular endothelial cells.

Despite the diverse roles of tripartite motif(Trim)-containing proteins in the regulation of autophagy,the innate immune response,and cell differentiation,their roles in skeletal diseases are largely *** recently demonstrated that Trim21 plays a crucial role in regulating osteoblast(OB)differentiation in ***,how Trim21 contributes to skeletal degenerative disorders,including osteoporosis,remains ***,human and mouse bone specimens were evaluated,and the results showed that Trim21 expression was significantly elevated in bone tissues obtained from osteoporosis ***,we found that global knockout of the Trim21 gene(KO,Trim2^(1-/-))resulted in higher bone mass compared to that of the control *** further demonstrated that loss of Trim21 promoted bone formation by enhancing the osteogenic differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs)and elevating the activity of OBs;moreover,Trim21 depletion suppressed osteoclast(OC)formation of RAW264.7 *** addition,the differentiation of OCs from bone marrow-derived macrophages(BMMs)isolated from Trim21^(-/-)and Ctsk-cre;Trim21^(f/f)mice was largely compromised compared to that of the littermate control ***,YAP1/β-catenin signaling was identified and demonstrated to be required for the Trim21-mediated osteogenic differentiation of *** importantly,the loss of Trim21 prevented ovariectomy(OVX)-and lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-induced bone loss in vivo by orchestrating the coupling of OBs and OCs through YAP1 *** current study demonstrated that Trim21 is crucial for regulating OB-mediated bone formation and OC-mediated bone resorption,thereby providing a basis for exploring Trim21 as a novel dual-targeting approach for treating osteoporosis and pathological bone loss.

In order to find out the distribution characteristics of BTEX in groundwater, which include Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene, p-Xylene, m-Xylene, and o-Xylene, 82 groups of groundwater samples and 10 surface water samples collected from guangzhou in Guangdong during 2005 to 2008 were tested by gas chromatography and mass spectrum(GC/MS). The result showed that the BTEX concentration in groundwater does not exceed the standard. The detection rate of BTEX is 14.63% in groundwater, and the total BTEX concentration is lower than 9.5 μg/L. Of 6 kinds of BTEX, toluene had the highest detection rate(12.20%) and detection value(9.5 μg/L), which was followed by Benzene, with the detection rate of 3.65%, and detection value of 4.9 μg/L respectively; most of samples with BTEX are distributed in Huangpu district, Baiyun district, Huadu district and other industrialized areas; this spatial distribution and urban distribution have obvious consistency. With economic development, plant expansion and population growth led to a large amount of waste water discharge, and infrastructure construction is lagging behind, indicating that rapid urbanization is a major driving force of BTEX in groundwater, and through the analysis of a typical area, it is found that benzene system surface water infiltration was an important source of BTEX in groundwater of guangzhou.

Gastric ulcer is a global health concern nowadays. Adinandra nitida, known as Shibi tea, is a flavonoidrich plant found in South China. A. nitida possesses many healthy properties, such as antioxidation and reducing blood pressure. However, its effects on gastric ulcer have not been investigated. This study aimed to investigate the effects of the Shibi tea water extract(STE) and its main flavonoid camellianin A(CA) in hydrochloric acid(HCl) and ethanol(Et OH)-induced acute gastric ulcer in mice. administration of CA and STE for continuous two days after stimulation by HCl/Et OH significantly attenuated the deterioration of gastric mucosal damage by lowering the gross gastric mucosal index, histopathological injury index, the oxidative stress, the expression of the inflammatory cytokines TNF-α and IL-6, and the expression of inflammatory mediators i NOS and COX-2. Western blotting and immunohistochemistry analysis showed that CA and STE regulated the inflammatory signaling pathway protein levels of IκB-α and NF-κB. Taken together, our study verified that CA and STE have antioxidative and anti-inflammatory effects in gastric ulcer mice. We propose that A. nitida should be developed as natural functional food for acute gastric ulcer patients base on the gastroprotective effects of STE and its main flavonoid CA.
