We construct uniform expressions of such dark soliton solutions encompassing both single-valley and double-valley dark solitons for the defocusing coupled Hirota equation with high-order nonlinear effects utilizing the uniform Darboux transformation,in addition to proposing a sufficient condition for the existence of the above dark soliton ***,the asymptotic analysis we perform reveals that collisions for single-valley dark solitons typically exhibit elastic behavior;however,collisions for double-valley dark solitons are generally *** light of this,we further propose a sufficient condition for the elastic collisions of double-valley dark soliton *** results offer valuable insights into the dynamics of dark soliton solutions in the defocusing coupled Hirota equation and can contribute to the advancement of studies in nonlinear optics.

In this paper, we construct the Darboux transformation(DT) for the reverse-time integrable nonlocal nonlinear Schrodinger equation by loop group method. Then we utilize the DT to derive soliton solutions with zero seed. We investigate the dynamical properties for those solutions and present a sufficient condition for the non-singularity of multi-soliton ***, the asymptotic analysis of bounded multi-solutions has also been established by the determinant formula.

Wind farms usually cluster in areas with abundant wind ***,spatial dependence of wind speeds among nearby wind farms should be taken into account when modeling a power system with large-scale wind power *** paper proposes a novel non-parametric copula method,multivariate Gaussian kernel copula(MGKC),to describe the dependence structure of wind speeds among multiple wind *** speed scenarios considering the dependence among different wind farms are sampled from the MGKC by the quasi-Monte Carlo(QMC)method,so as to solve the stochastic economic dispatch(SED)problem,for which an improved meanvariance(MV)model is established,which targets at minimizing the expectation and risk of fuel cost *** this model,confidence interval is applied in the wind speed to obtain more practical dispatch solutions by excluding extreme scenarios,for which the quantile-copula is proposed to construct the confidence interval *** studies are carried out on a modified IEEE 30-bus power system with wind farms integrated in two areas,and the results prove the superiority of the MGKC in formulating the dependence among different wind farms and the superiority of the improved MV model based on quantilecopula in determining a better dispatch solution.

Multi-parametric Sensitivity Analysis of Improved Transformer Thermal Models Considering Nonlinear Effect of Oil Time Constant

This paper aims to develop an approach to investigating the effect of a particular parameter on the output accuracy of transformer thermal models,*** analysis,which can not only reveal the most sensitive parameter of a thermal model but also improve model output *** the first time,the nonlinear time constant(NTC)of transformer oil is proposed to reshape three practical top-oil temperature models based on an expression of nonlinear thermal conductance:the modified IEEE clause 7 model,Swift’s model,and Susa’s ***,the multi-parametric sensitivity analysis(MPSA)is undertaken to reveal the effect of each parameter on the model output *** onsite data validation,the results show that the accuracy performance of the proposed NTC thermal models are improved significantly by considering the nonlinear effect of oil time ***,the derived sensitivity performances can clearly reveal the most dominant parameter of the model,so as to simplify the model parameter identification process by reducing the number of insensitive ***,the heat-run test data is used as a reference to validate parameters optimized through a genetic algorithm(GA),which demonstrates that the proposed NTC IEEE model has not only one sensitive parameter but also superior accuracy performance.

High-entropy nanomaterials have been arousing considerable interest in recent years due to their huge composition space,unique microstructure,and adjustable *** studies focused mainly on high-entropy nanoparticles,while other high-entropy nanomaterials were rarely ***,we reported a new class of high-entropy nanomaterials,namely(Tao2Nbo2Ti.2Wo.2Moo2)B2 high-entropy diboride(HEB-1)nanoflowers,for the first *** possibility of HEB-1 was first theoretically analyzed from two aspects of lattice size difference and chemical reaction *** then successfully synthesized HEB-1 nanoflowers by a facile molten salt synthesis method at 1423 *** as-synthesized HEB-1 nanoflowers showed an interesting chrysanthemum-like morphology assembled from numerous well-aligned nanorods with diameters of 20--30 nm and lengths of 100-200 ***,these nanorods possessed a single-crystalline hexagonal structure of metal diborides and highly compositional uniformity from nanoscale to *** addition,the formation of the as-synthesized HEB-I nanoflowers could be well interpreted by a classical surface-contolled crystal growth *** work not only enriches the categories of high-entropy nanomaterials but also opens up a new research field on high-entropy diboride nanomaterials.

Line-commutated converter (LCC)-based high-voltage DC (HVDC) systems have been integrated with bulk AC power grids for interregional transmission of renewable power. The nonlinear LCC model brings additional nonconvexity to optimal power flow (OPF) of hybrid AC-DC power grids. A convexification method for the LCC station model could address such nonconvexity but has rarely been discussed. We devise an equivalent reformulation for classical LCC station models that facilitates second-order cone convex relaxation for the OPF of LCC-based AC-DC power grids. We also propose sufficient conditions for exactness of convex relaxation with its proof. Equivalence of the proposed LCC station models and properties, exactness, and effectiveness of convex relaxation are verified using four numerical simulations. Simulation results demonstrate a globally optimal solution of the original OPF can be efficiently obtained from relaxed model.

We study the collision property of spinning particles near a Banados-Teitelboim-Zanelli(BTZ)black *** results show that although the center-of-mass energy of two ingoing particles diverges if one of the particles possesses a critical angular momentum,the particle with critical angular momentum cannot exist outside of the horizon due to violation of the timelike *** detailed investigation indicates that only a particle with a subcritical angular momentum is allowed to exist near an extremal rotating BTZ black hole,and the corresponding collision center-of-mass energy can be arbitrarily large in a critical angular momentum limit.
