Objective This study aimed to investigate the potential relationship between urinary metals copper(Cu),arsenic(As),strontium(Sr),barium(Ba),iron(Fe),lead(Pb)and manganese(Mn)and grip strength.Methods We used linear regression models,quantile g-computation and Bayesian kernel machine regression(BKMR)to assess the relationship between metals and grip strength.Results In the multimetal linear regression,Cu(β=−2.119),As(β=−1.318),Sr(β=−2.480),Ba(β=0.781),Fe(β=1.130)and Mn(β=−0.404)were significantly correlated with grip strength(P<0.05).The results of the quantile g-computation showed that the risk of occurrence of grip strength reduction was−1.007(95%confidence interval:−1.362,−0.652;P<0.001)when each quartile of the mixture of the seven metals was increased.Bayesian kernel function regression model analysis showed that mixtures of the seven metals had a negative overall effect on grip strength,with Cu,As and Sr being negatively associated with grip strength levels.In the total population,potential interactions were observed between As and Mn and between Cu and Mn(P_(interactions) of 0.003 and 0.018,respectively).Conclusion In summary,this study suggests that combined exposure to metal mixtures is negatively associated with grip strength.Cu,Sr and As were negatively correlated with grip strength levels,and there were potential interactions between As and Mn and between Cu and Mn.

Simulation Analysis of Torsion Beam Hydroforming Based on the Fluid-Solid Coupling Method

Hydroformed parts are widely used in industrial automotive parts because of their higher stiffness and fatigue strength and reduced weight relative to their corresponding cast and welded parts.This paper reports a hydraulicforming experimental platform for rectangular tube fittings that was constructed to conduct an experiment on the hydraulic forming of rectangular tube fittings.A finite element model was established on the basis of the fluid–solid coupling method and simulation analysis.The correctness of the simulation analysis and the feasibility of the fluid–solid coupling method for hydraulic forming simulation analysis were verified by comparing the experimental results with the simulation results.On the basis of the simulation analysis of the hydraulic process of the torsion beam using the fluid–solid coupling method,a sliding mold suitable for the hydroforming of torsion beams was designed for its structural characteristics.The effects of fluid characteristics,shaping pressure,axial feed rate,and friction coefficient on the wall thicknesses of torsions beams during formation were investigated.Fluid movement speed was related to tube deformation.Shaping pressure had a significant effect on rounded corners and straight edges.The axial feed speed was increased,and the uneven distribution of wall thicknesses was effectively improved.Although the friction coefficient had a nonsignificant effect on the wall thickness of the ladder-shaped region,it had a significant influence on a large deformation of wall thickness in the V-shaped area.In this paper,a method of fluid-solid coupling simulation analysis and sliding die is proposed to study the high pressure forming law in torsion beam.

The Chinese tree shrew(Tupaia belangeri chinensis)has emerged as a promising model for investigating adrenal steroid synthesis,but it is unclear whether the same cells produce steroid hormones and whether their production is regulated in the same way as in humans.Here,we comprehensively mapped the cell types and pathways of steroid metabolism in the adrenal gland of Chinese tree shrews using single-cell RNA sequencing,spatial transcriptome analysis,mass spectrometry,and immunohistochemistry.We compared the transcriptomes of various adrenal cell types across tree shrews,humans,macaques,and mice.Results showed that tree shrew adrenal glands expressed many of the same key enzymes for steroid synthesis as humans,including CYP11B2,CYP11B1,CYB5A,and CHGA.Biochemical analysis confirmed the production of aldosterone,cortisol,and dehydroepiandrosterone but not dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate in the tree shrew adrenal glands.Furthermore,genes in adrenal cell types in tree shrews were correlated with genetic risk factors for polycystic ovary syndrome,primary aldosteronism,hypertension,and related disorders in humans based on genome-wide association studies.Overall,this study suggests that the adrenal glands of Chinese tree shrews may consist of closely related cell populations with functional similarity to those of the human adrenal gland.Our comprehensive results(publicly available at http://***:16245/scAGMap/)should facilitate the advancement of this animal model for the investigation of adrenal gland disorders.

Performance of TiC coating prepared by in situ conversion of organic carbon film on 316L bipolar plate

TiC coating on 316L stainless steel surface is prepared by molten salt disproportionation reaction by using carbon layer converted from organic carbon solution as carbon source.The Raman and morphology characterizations show that the carbon layer and TiC coating are successfully prepared on the surface of 316L stainless steel,the prepared carbon layer and 316L matrix have good adhesion,and the prepared TiC coating is smooth and dense.In the simulated cathodic environment of the proton exchange membrane fuel cell,the potentiostatic and potentiodynamic polarization measurements show that the TiC coating has smaller and more stable current density fluctuation than the 316L stainless steel substrate,and the electrochemical impedance test lasting for 275 h still shows better stable corrosion resistance than that of the 316L stainless steel substrate.Finally,in the water contact angle and interface contact resistance tests,the TiC coating consistently maintained better hydrophobicity and lower interface contact resistance values than 316L stainless steel.

Mg,Ti-base surface integrated layer and bulk doping to suppress lattice oxygen evolution of Ni-rich cathode material at a high cut-off voltage

The Nickel-rich layered cathode materials charged to 4.5 V can obtain a specific capacity of more than 200 m Ah g^(-1).However,the nickel-rich layered cathode materials suffer from the severe capacity fade during high-voltage cycling,which is related to the phase transformation and the surface sides reactions caused by the lattice oxygen evolution.Here,the simultaneous construction of a Mg,Ti-based surface integrated layer and bulk doping through Mg,Ti surface treatment could suppress the lattice oxygen evolution of Nirich material at deep charging.More importantly,Mg and Ti are co-doped into the particles surface to form an Mg_(2)TiO_(4) and Mg_(0.5–x)Ti_(2–y)(PO_(4))_(3) outer layer with Mg and Ti vacancies.In the constructed surface integrated layer,the reverse electric field in the Mg_(2)TiO_(4) effectively suppressed the outward migration of the lattice oxygen anions,while Mg_(0.5–x)Ti_(2–y)(PO_(4))_(3) outer layer with high electronic conductivity and good lithium ion conductor could effectively maintained the stability of the reaction interface during highvoltage cycling.Meanwhile,bulk Mg and Ti co-doping can mitigate the migration of Ni ions in the bulk to keep the stability of transition metal–oxygen(M-O)bond at deep charging.As a result,the NCM@MTP cathode shows excellent long cycle stability at high-voltage charging,which keep high capacity retention of 89.3%and 84.3%at 1 C after 200 and 100 cycles under room and elevated temperature of 25 and 55°C,respectively.This work provides new insights for manipulating the surface chemistry of electrode materials to suppress the lattice oxygen evolution at high charging voltage.

Construction of internal electric field to suppress oxygen evolution of Ni-rich cathode materials at a high cutoff voltage

The Nickel-rich layered cathode materials have been considered as promising cathode for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs),which due to it can achieve a high capacity of than 200 mAh g^(-1)under a high cutoff voltage of4.5 V.However,the nickel-rich layered cathode materials show severely capacity fading at high voltage cycling,induced by the hybrid O anion and cation redox promote O^(α-)(α<2)migration in the crystal lattice under high charge voltage,lead to the instability of the oxygen skeleton and oxygen evolution,promote the phase transition and electrolyte decomposition.Here,Li_(1-x)TMO_(2-y)/Li_(2)SO_(4) hybrid layer is designed by a simple pyrolysis method to enhance the high voltage cycle stability of NCM.In such constructed hybrid layer,the inner spinel structure of Li_(1-x)TMO_(2-y)layer is the electron-rich state,which could form an electron cloud coupling with the NCM with surface oxygen vacancies,while Li_(2)SO_(4) is p-type semiconductors,thus constructing a heterojunction interface of Li_(1-x)TMO_(2-y)//Li_(2)SO_(4) and Li_(1-x)TMO_(2-y)//NCM,thereby generating internal self-built electric fields to inhibit the outward migration of bulk oxygen anions.Moreover,the internal self-built electric fields could not only strengthen the bonding force between the Li_(1-x)TMO_(2-y)/Li_(2)SO_(4) hybrid layer and host NCM material,but also boost the charge transfer.As consequence,the modified NCM materials show excellent electrochemical performance with capacity retention of 97.7%and 90.1%after 200 cycles at 4.3 V and 4.5 V,respectively.This work provides a new idea for the development of high energy density applications of Nickel-rich layered cathode materials.

Summary What is already known about this topic?Migration has a significant impact on the transmission of human immunodeficiency virus(HIV).To date,there have been few studies examining the characteristics of migration among HIV-positive men who have sex with men(MSM).What is added by this report?The prevalence of migrants among newly reported HIV-positive MSM in guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region increased from 2005 to 2021.Yulin Prefecture had the highest proportion of out-migrant MSM(12.6%),while Nanning Prefecture had the highest proportion of in-migrant MSM(55.9%).Risk factors associated with migration among MSM included being in the 18–24 age range,having a college education or higher,and being a student.

Polarization loss analysis and ageing characterisation of transformer oil-immersed insulation by using decoupled frequency domain spectroscopy

The polarization information contained in the frequency-domain spectroscopy(FDS)could be utilised for characterising the ageing degree of transformer oil-immersed insulation.However,the polarization information will be obscured by its conductance effect,it is thus hard to analyse the polarization behaviour by using the traditional FDS technique.Given this issue,an alternative approach is proposed to analyse the polari-zation information using FDS decoupled by logarithmic-derivative spectroscopy(LDS).Findings proved that the polarization loss information generated by polarization behaviour can be separated from the total dispersion loss.The proposed feature pa-rameters are later used to analyse the polarization loss information under ageing impact.Also,the polarization loss surface is constructed by using these feature parameters to characterise the ageing degrees of oil-immersed samples.Finally,the potential possibility of using the proposed method to analyse the polarization loss and ageing degree are respectively discussed.
