Experimental Study on Geometry Characteristics of Turbulent Premixed Flames for Natural Gas/Air Mixtures

In this study,focusing on the geometry characteristics of spherical expanding flame,the turbulent premixed flames of natural gas/air mixtures were investigated in a fan-stirred turbulent *** effects of initial temperature（T=300-400 K）,initial pressure（P=0.1-0.3 MPa）,turbulence intensity（u'=1.0-2.7 m/s）,oxygen volumetric percentage(φ（O2）=15%-21%) and carbon dioxide volumetric percentage(φ（CO2）=0-20%)were delved *** flame profile under the Cartesian coordinate system was derived from the schlieren images taken by the high-speed ***,from both macroscopic and microscopic perspectives,the influence of experimental conditions on the flame geometry characteristics was explored through flame front extraction,wavelet decomposition and network *** results demonstrate that for significant flame wrinkling,changes in species concentrations and turbulence intensity have more pronounced effects on the flame wrinkling *** wrinkling of the flame front maintains a certain degree of similarity,as evidenced by the locally concentrated distribution of the angles of the maximum fluctuation *** disturbance energy under large-scale（D6-D8） disturbances exhibits relatively high values with a similar trend,exerting a significant impact on the geometry characteristics of the flame *** peaks of correlation degree are scattered either with the decomposition scale or the development of flame radius,indicating no linear correlation between different detail ***,the probability distribution of node degrees in key wrinkled regions exhibits different trends with that of large-scale wrinkling and disturbance energy,especially with changes in initial *** occurs because the number of key wrinkles varies based on the perturbation's strength or the region's ***,an increase in the fluctuation frequency of the flame's local radius may not necessarily lead to an increase in the number of key folded regions.

Squeeze casting(SC)is an advanced net manufacturing process with many advantages for which the quality and properties of the manufactured parts depend strongly on the process ***,a universal efficient method for the determination of optimal process parameters is still *** view of the shortcomings and development needs of the current research methods for the setting of SC process parameters,by consulting and analyzing the recent research literature on SC process parameters and using the CiteSpace literature analysis software,manual reading and statistical analysis,the current state and characteristics of the research methods used for the determination of SC process parameters are *** literature data show that the number of pub-lications in the literature related to the design of SC process parameters generally trends upward albeit with signifi-cant *** of the research focus shows that both“mechanical properties”and“microstructure”are the two main subjects in the studies of SC process *** regard to materials,aluminum alloys have been extensively *** methods have been used to obtain SC process parameters:Physical experiments,numeri-cal simulation,modeling optimization,formula calculation,and the use of empirical *** experiments are the main research *** main methods for designing SC process parameters are divided into three categories:Fully experimental methods,optimization methods that involve modeling based on experimental data,and theoreti-cal calculation methods that involve establishing an analytical *** research characteristics and shortcomings of each method were *** simulations and model-based optimization have become the new required *** the development needs and data-driven trends of the SC process,suggestions for the develop-ment of SC process parameter research have been proposed.

Topological dependence of mechanical responses of solidification microstructures in aluminum brazed joints

The main objective is to provide an evidence of spatial dependence of mechanical responses of a heterogeneous aluminum brazed joint re-solidified clad, and to confirm a sufficient sensitivity of a nano-indentation—load curve method for identifying the dependence. Topological features of a network of solidification microstructures(α phase and eutectic), formed during quench in a brazing process of aluminum alloy, influence significantly dynamic mechanical responses of resulting heterogeneous material. Nano/micro indentation depth vs load characteristics of differing phases suggest a spatially sensitive mechanical response of a re-solidified fillet in the joint zone. Hence, a spatial distribution, pattern formations and other morphological characteristics of microstructures have a direct impact on an ultimate joint integrity. Topology-induced variations of indentation—load curves was presented. A hypothesis involving microstructures’ spatial distribution vs mechanical response was formulated.

Reversible Data Hiding Based on Pixel-Value-Ordering and Pixel Block Merging Strategy

With the reversible data hiding method based on pixel-value-ordering,data are embedded through the modification of the maximum and minimum values of a block.A significant relationship exists between the embedding performance and the block *** pixel-value-ordering methods utilize pixel blocks with a fixed size to embed data;the smaller the pixel blocks,greater is the embedding ***,it tends to result in the deterioration of the quality of the marked ***,a novel reversible data hiding method is proposed by incorporating a block merging strategy into Li et al.’s pixel-value-ordering method,which realizes the dynamic control of block size by considering the image ***,the cover image is divided into non-overlapping 2×2 pixel ***,according to their complexity,similarity and thresholds,these blocks are employed for data embedding through the pixel-value-ordering method directly or after being emerged into 2×4,4×2,or 4×4 sized ***,smaller blocks can be used in the smooth region to create a high embedding capacity and larger blocks in the texture region to maintain a high peak signal-to-noise *** results prove that the proposed method is superior to the other three advanced *** achieves a high embedding capacity while maintaining low distortion and improves the embedding performance of the pixel-value-ordering algorithm.

This paper reports on a self-developed atmospheric turbulence detection Li DAR system (scanning differential image motion Li DAR(DIM-Li DAR) system). By designing and simulating the optical system of atmospheric turbulence detection Li DAR,the basic optical imaging accuracy has been determined.

Injecting spectral indices to transferable convolutional neural network under imbalanced and noisy labels for Landsat image classification

Stable and continuous remote sensing land-cover mapping is important for agriculture,ecosystems,and land *** neural networks(CNNs)are promising methods for achieving this ***,the large number of high-quality training samples required to train a CNN is difficult to *** practice,imbalanced and noisy labels originating from existing land-cover maps can be used as *** have shown that the inconsistency in the training samples has a significant impact on the performance of the *** overcome this drawback,a method is proposed to inject highly consistent information into the network,to learn general and transferable features to alleviate the impact of imperfect training *** indices are important features that can provide consistent *** indices can be fused with CNN feature maps which utilize information entropy to choose the most appropriate CNN layer,to compensate for the inconsistency caused by the imbalanced,noisy *** proposed transferable CNN,tested with imbalanced and noisy labels for inter-regional Landsat time-series,not only is superior in terms of accuracy for land-cover mapping but also demonstrates excellent transferability between regions in both time series and cross-regional Landsat image classification.

Optimal Energy-Efficient Operation of a Metro Train on a Long and Steep Downhill Segment

Because the standard four-stage operation and con-trol strategy cannot fully utilize the gravitational potential energy of a train operating on a long and steep downhill segment,this paper further improves the method for train operation and control *** improved operation includes three stages of acceleration,coasting-speed limit cruising,and *** the speed limit,time limit,and distance limit as the constraints,the coasting condition switching point,braking condition switching point,traction coefficient,and braking force coefficient are used as the decision ***,an improved train traction energy consumption model is constructed,and an improved differential evolution algorithm is designed to solve this *** improved method is used to simulate two long and steep downhill segments of the Nanning *** results show that the improved method can meet the requirements of speed limit,time limit,and distance *** with the standard four-stage operation,the improved train operation and control strategy can reduce train energy consumption by more than 40%on the two long and steep downhill segments;compared with other similar algorithms,the improved algorithm is more suitable for solving the model.

The existing research of the flow behavior in emitter micro-channels mainly focuses on the single-phase flow *** the recent micro-particle image velocimetry（PIV） experimental research on the flow characteristics in various micro-channels mainly focuses on the single-phase fluid ***,using an original-size emitter prototype to perform the experiments on the two-phase flow characteristics of the labyrinth channels is seldom *** this paper,the practical flow of water,mixed with sand escaped from filtering,in the labyrinth channel,is *** some research work on the clogging mechanism of the labyrinth channel＇s structure is *** fluid dynamics（CFD） analysis has been performed on liquid-solid two-phase flow in labyrinth-channel *** on flow visualization technology-micro-PIV,the flow in labyrinth channel has been photographed and *** path line graph and velocity vector graph are obtained through the post-treatment of experimental *** graphs agree well with CFD analysis results,so CFD analysis can be used in optimal design of labyrinth-channel *** the optimized anti-clogging structures of the rectangular channel and zigzag channel have been designed *** CFD numerical simulation and the micro-PIV experiments analysis on labyrinth-channel emitter,make the ＂black box＂ of the flow behavior in the emitter channel ***,the proposed research promotes an advanced method to evaluate the emitter＇s performance and can be used to conducting the optimal design of the labyrinth-channel emitters.

Diffusion mechanism simulation of cloud manufacturing complex network based on cooperative game theory

Cloud manufacturing is a specific implementation form of the "Internet + manufacturing" strategy. Why and how to develop cloud manufacturing platform(CMP), however, remains the key concern of both platform operators and users. A microscopic model is proposed to investigate advantages and diffusion forces of CMP through exploration of its diffusion process and mechanism. Specifically, a three-stage basic evolution process of CMP is innovatively proposed. Then, based on this basic process, a more complex CMP evolution model has been established in virtue of complex network theory, with five diffusion forces identified. Thereafter, simulations on CMP diffusion have been conducted. The results indicate that, CMP possesses better resource utilization,user satisfaction, and enterprise utility. Results of simulation on impacts of different diffusion forces show that both the time required for CMP to reach an equilibrium state and the final network size are affected simultaneously by the five diffusion forces. All these analyses indicate that CMP could create an open online cooperation environment and turns out to be an effective implementation of the "Internet + manufacturing" strategy.
