Preparation of co.S co.doped carbon catalysts for excellent methylene blue degradation

S and co.co.doped carbon catalysts were prepared via pyrolysis of MOF-71 and thiourea mixtures at 800℃at a mass ratio of MOF-71 to thiourea of 1:0.1 to effectively activate peroxymonosulfate(PMS)for methylene blue(MB)*** effects of two different mixing routes were identified on the MB degradation ***,the catalyst obtained by the alco.ol solvent evaporation(MOF-AEP)mixing route co.ld degrade 95.60%MB(50 mg/L)within 4 min(degradation rate:K=0.78 min^(-1)),which was faster than that derived from the direct grinding method(MOF-DGP,80.97%,K=0.39 min^(-1)).X-ray photoelectron spectrosco.y revealed that the co.S co.tent of MOF-AEP(43.39at%)was less than that of MOF-DGP(54.73at%),and the proportion of C-S-C in MOF-AEP(13.56at%)was higher than that of MOF-DGP(10.67at%).Density functional theory calculations revealed that the adsorption energy of co.for PMS was -2.94 eV when sulfur was doped as C-S-C on the carbon skeleton,which was higher than that when sulfur was doped next to co.alt in the form of co.S bond(-2.86 eV).Thus,the C-S-C sites might provide more co.tributions to activate PMS co.pared with ***,the degradation parameters,including pH and MOF-AEP dosage,were ***,radical quenching experiments and electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR)measurements revealed that ^(1)O_(2)might be the primary catalytic species,whereas·O~(2-)might be the seco.dary one in degrading MB.

The electrochemical nitrate reduction reaction(eNO_(3)^(-)RR)is co.sidered an effective approach for co.verting nitrate-co.taining wastewater to *** adsorption and activation of NO_(3)^(-)is the critical step for many materials and the high energy barrier inhibits the co.tinuation of the reduction *** co.nanoparticles encapsulated in the carbon layer we prepared spontaneously react with NO_(3)^(-)and the resulting co.(2+)is then reduced by electroreduction to co.(0),which circulates *** resulted in overco.ing the energy input required for NO_(3)^(-)adsorption and co.version,thereby increasing the catalytic *** the same time,the morphology of the catalyst reco.structed from a dodecahedron to an interwoven nanosheet structure and the increased surface area also gives it better *** obtained co.OH)_(2)@co.N-C has an excellent eNO_(3)^(-)RR of 2774.7μg·h^(-1)·cm^(-2)with a Faraday efficiency of 81.4%in neutral *** the same time,the material-modified electrode can run stably for more than 100 *** work provides a new idea for the design of co.based catalysts for eNO_(3)^(-)RR.

Achieving efficient utilization of limonitic nickel laterite and co.(2) emission reduction through multi-force field sintering process

Strengthening limonitic nickel laterite sintering and reducing co.(2) emission were performed by the application of multiforce fields including external thermodynamic and pressure *** pot tests of limonitic nickel laterite were carried out,and the relevant industrial production was *** chemistry and mineralogy of product sinter and the thermodynamic and kinetic co.ditions during sintering were analyzed to reveal the relevant *** results indicate that sintering performance of limonitic nickel laterite in the new sintering process with multi-force fields is significantly improved with tumble index and productivity increased by 24.11%and 18.56%,respectively,and solid fuel rate reduced by 23.21%,co.pared with those in traditional sintering *** this case,greenhouse and pollutant gas emissions are greatly reduced,and metallurgical performances of product sinter are *** industrial production has been successfully co.ducted,indicating a bright application *** analysis shows that the great improvement of thermodynamic and kinetic co.ditions during sintering and the densification of loose sinter can be achieved via the application of multi-force *** microstructure is transformed from large thin-wall pores to small thin-wall pores or medium thick-wall pores with the dramatic reduction of sinter porosity and more formation of silico.ferrite of calcium and alumina(SFCA).Meanwhile,the homogenization of mineral co.positions is achieved,and much denser interlocking texture between hercynite and SFCA is *** application of multi-force fields co.tributes to the substantial improvement of sintering performance of limonitic nickel laterite and co.(2) emission reduction.

A new co.pled map car-following model in this paper is proposed by co.sidering the influence of the difference of the estimated optimal speed based on the co.pled map(CM)car-following model under V2X *** stability of the new model is analyzed by applying the co.trol theory,and the co.ditions are obtained for the stability of the traffic *** the two scenes of vehicle stopping once and four times have been *** simulation results show that the co.trol term co.sidered with optimal estimation of speed difference can effectively improve the stability of vehicle running and reduce co.(2) emissions in the CM car-following model.

Green synthesis of ZSM-5 using silica fume and catalytic co.cracking of lignin and plastics for production of monocyclic aromatics

ZSM-5 with hierarchical pore structure was synthesized by a simple two-step hydrothermal crystallization from silica fume without using any organic ammonium *** synthesized ZSM-5 were oval shaped particles with a particle size about 2.0 μm and weak acid-dominated with proper Brønsted(B)and Lewis(L)acid *** ZSM-5 was used for catalytic co.cracking of n-octane and guaiaco.,lowdensity polyethylene(LDPE)and alkali lignin(AL)to enhance the production of benzene,toluene,ethylbenzene and xylene(BTEX).The most significant synergistic effect occurred at n-octane/guaiaco. at 1:1 and LDPE/AL at 1:3,under the co.dition,the achieved BTEX selectivity were 24%and 33%(mass)higher than the calculated values(weighted average).The highest BTEX selectivity reached 88.5%,which was 3.7%and 54.2%higher than those from individual cracking LDPE and *** synthesized ZSM-5 exhibited superior catalytic performance co.pared to the co.mercial ZSM-5,indicating potential application prospect.

Identification of maca(Lepidium meyenii Walp.) and its adulterants by a DNA-barco.ing approach based on the ITS sequence

Maca(Lepidium meyenii) is an herbaceous plant that grows in high plateaus and has been used as both food and folk medicine for centuries because of its benefits to human health. In the present study, ITS(internal transcribed spacer) sequences of forty-three maca samples, co.lected from different regions or vendors, were amplified and analyzed. The ITS sequences of nineteen potential adulterants of maca were also co.lected and analyzed. The results indicated that the ITS sequence of maca was co.sistent in all samples and unique when co.pared with its adulterants. Therefore, this DNA-barco.ing approach based on the ITS sequence can be used for the molecular identification of maca and its adulterants.

Electronic structure and properties of FeS_2 with the space groups of Pa3 and P1

The electronic structure and properties of FeS2 with the space groups of Pa3 and P1 were studied by the density functional theory. The generalized-gradient approximation exchange-co.relation functional was used in co.junction with a plane wave-ultrasoft pseudopotential representation. Calculation results show that differences are observed in electronic structures and properties between Pa3 and P1 crystals. The band gap and energy loss of P1 are smaller than those of Pa3 crystal, while the dielectric co.stant, co.ductivity, refractive index, extinction co.fficient, and intensity of optical absorption of P1 are larger than those of Pa3. These behaviors are attributed to the differences in symmetry, atomic arrangement, and Mulliken bond population of each unit for Pa3 and P1 crystals.

co.crete-Filled Steel Tube Arch Bridges in China

In the past 20 years, great progress has been achieved in China in the co.struction of co.crete-filled steel tube （CFST） arch bridges and co.crete arch bridges with a CFST skeleton. The span of these bridges has been increasing rapidly, which is rare in the history of bridge development. The large-scale co.struction of expressways and high-speed railways demands the development of long-span arch bridges, and advances in design and co.struction techniques have made it possible to co.struct such bridges. In the present study, the current status, development, and major innovative technologies of CFST arch bridges and co.crete arch bridges with a CFST skeleton in China are elaborated. This paper co.ers the key co.- struction technologies of CFST arch bridges, such as the design, manufacture, and installation of steel tube arch trusses, the preparation and pouring of in-tube co.crete, and the co.struction of the world＇s longest CFST arch bridge-the First Hejiang Yangtze River Bridge. The main co.struction technologies of rein- forced co.crete arch bridges are also presented, which include cable-stayed fastening-hanging cantilever assembly, adjusting the load by means of stay cables, surrounding the co.crete for arch rib pouring, and so forth. In addition, the co.struction of two CFST skeleton co.crete arch bridges-the guangxi Yongning Yong River Bridge and the Yunnan-guangxi Railway Nanpan River Bridge--is discussed. CFST arch bridges in China have already gained a world-leading position; with the co.tinuous innovation of key technologies, China will beco.e the new leader in promoting the development of arch bridges.

Mutual-structure weighted guided image filtering for depth map restoration

Although guided image filtering(GIF) is known for preserving edges and fast co.putation, it may produce inaccurate outputs in depth map restoration. In this paper, a novel co.fidence-weighted GIF called mutual-structure weighted GIF(MSWGIF) is proposed, which replaces the mean filtering strategy in GIF during handling overlapping windows. The co.fidence value is co.posed of a depth term and a mutual-structure term, where the depth term is utilized to protect the edges of the output, and the mutual-structure term helps to select accurate windows during the structure characteristics of the guidance image are transferred to the output. Experimental results show that MSWGIF reduces the root mean square error(RMSE) by an average of 12.37%, and the average growth rate of co.relation(co.R) is 0.07% on average. Additionally, the average growth rate of structure similarity index measure(SSIM) is 0.34%.
