Microglia,the resident monocyte of the central nervous system,play a crucial role in the response to spinal co.d ***,the precise mechanism remains *** investigate the molecular mechanisms by which microglia regulate the neuroinflammatory response to spinal co.d injury,we performed single-cell RNA sequencing dataset analysis,focusing on changes in microglial *** found that the MG1 subpopulation emerged in the acute/subacute phase of spinal co.d injury and expressed genes related to cell pyroptosis,sphingomyelin metabolism,and neuroinflammation at high ***,we established a mouse model of co.tusive injury and performed intrathecal injection of siRNA and molecular inhibitors to validate the role of ceramide synthase 5 in the neuroinflammatory responses and pyroptosis after spinal co.d ***,we established a PC12-BV2 cell co.culture system and found that ceramide synthase 5 and pyroptosis-associated proteins were highly expressed to induce the apoptosis of neuron *** ceramide synthase 5 expression in a mouse model of spinal co.d injury effectively reduced ***,ceramide synthase 5-induced pyroptosis was dependent on activation of the NLRP3 signaling *** ceramide synthase 5 expression in microglia in vivo reduced neuronal apoptosis and promoted reco.ery of neurological ***2g7 formed a“bridge”between sphingolipid metabolism and ceramide synthase 5-mediated cell death by inhibiting the NLRP3 signaling ***,these findings suggest that inhibiting ceramide synthase 5 expression in microglia after spinal co.d injury effectively suppressed microglial pyroptosis mediated by NLRP3,thereby exerting neuroprotective effects.

Engineering atomic Rb-N co.figurations to tune radical pathways for highly selective photocatalytic H2O2 synthesis co.pled with biomass valorization

Photocatalytic oxygen reduction for hydrogen peroxide （H2O2） synthesis presents a green and co.teffective production ***,achieving highly selective H2O2synthesis remains challenging,necessitating precise co.trol over free radical reaction pathways and minimizing undesirable oxidative ***,we report for the visible light-driven simultaneous co.photocatalytic reduction of O2to H2O2and oxidation of biomass using the atomic rubidium-nitride modified carbon nitride（CNRb）.The optimized CNRb catalyst demonstrates a reco.d photoreduction rate of 8.01 mM h-1for H2O2generation and photooxidation rate of 3.75 mM h-1for furfuryl alco.ol to furoic acid,achieving a remarkable solar-to-chemical co.version （SCC） efficiency of up to 2.27%.Experimental characterizations and DFT calculation disclosed that the introducing atomic Rb–N co.figurations allows for the high-selective generation of superoxide radicals while suppressing hydroxyl free radical *** is because the Rb–N serves as the new alternative site to perceive a stronger co.nection position for O2adsorption and reinforce the capability to extract protons,thereby triggering a high selective redox product *** study holds great potential in precisely regulating reactive radical processes at the atomic level,thereby paving the way for efficient synthesis of H2O2co.pled with biomass valorization.

The co.rosion and impact-abrasion-co.rosion behaviors of quenching-tempering Fe-Cr martensitic steels for ball mill liner were investigated in the co.rosive slurry of a co.per mine co.pared with high manganese *** is found that the co.rosion resistance and the protectiveness of the passive film of Fe-Cr martensitic steels became worse when the carbon co.tent *** quenching-tempering Fe-Cr martensitic steel showed better impact-abrasion-co.rosion resistance in the co.rosive slurry co.pared with the high manganese steel,especially the alloy steel with the carbon co.tent of 0.3 wt.%.The synergistic effect between mechanics and co.rosion has also been analyzed to further reveal the impact-abrasion-co.rosion mechanism of the *** damage from pure mechanics acco.nted for the largest percentage(over 65%)for all steels,demonstrating that mechanical damage played the most important role in the impact-abrasion-co.rosion behaviors of the *** impact and cracking resistance of the steel should also be paid special attention during the development of new materials for ball mill liner.

New way to co.struct high order Hamiltonian variational integrators

This paper develops a new approach to co.struct variational integrators. A simplified unco.ventional Hamilton＇s variational principle co.responding to initial value problems is proposed, which is co.venient for applications. The displacement and mo- mentum are approximated with the same Lagrange interpolation. After the numerical integration and variational operation, the original problems are expressed as algebraic equations with the displacement and momentum at the interpolation points as unknown variables. Some particular variational integrators are derived. An optimal scheme of choosing initial values for the Newton-Raphson method is presented for the nonlinear dynamic system. In addition, specific examples show that the proposed integrators are symplectic when the interpolation point co.ncides with the numerical integration point, and both are Gaussian quadrature points. Meanwhile, co.pared with the same order symplectic Runge-Kutta methods, although the accuracy of the two methods is almost the same, the proposed integrators are much simpler and less co.putationally expensive.

Iron-pillared bentonite(FB)was prepared by Fe(III)modified bentonite,and then the co.posites(FB-OS)were prepared by iron-pillared bentonite and oyster shell *** co.posites were characterized by FTIR,SEM,TGA,and EDS,and the phosphorus removal test was carried *** results showed that FB-OS co.tained a large amount of *** structure was co.pact,but there were gaps in *** maximum bending stress and co.pressive strength were 43.7 N and 0.927 MPa,*** phosphorus removal test showed that the phosphorus removal rate of FB-OS was more than 90%,and measured the maximum adsorption capacity was 48.31 mg/g.A large amount of spherical products were produced on the surface and inside of FB-OS after phos-phorus removal,it was speculated that spherical products were amorphous calcium phosphate in the ***-lysis indicated that there was chemical adsorption during phosphorus *** kinetic equation of phosphorus adsorption by FB-OS was qt=10:193t/1+2:574t (R^(2)=0.995).The adsorption rate was mainly co.trolled by outerfilm diffusion and intraparticle diffusion.

The microstructure evolution and properties of medium-carbon cast steel alloyed with different Ni co.tents after tempering at various temperatures have been *** addition of 0.47-1.59 wt.%Ni co.tent results in the formation of 16%-36% retained austenite(RA).The blocky and irregular-polygonal RA mainly forms along the prior austenite grain boundaries,and the tempering temperature does not affect the RA *** hardness of medium-carbon cast steel is affected by the precipitation of carbides and the hardness of *** RA co.tent is the main cause of intergranular impact rupture and low impact *** long-strip carbides formed after tempering at 320℃ would further reduce the impact energy of medium-carbon cast *** tempering at 220 and 380℃,the increase in impact energy is attributed to the formation of rod-like and spherical carbides and the low-carbon *** the medium-carbon cast steel with high impact energy,its impact-abrasive wear resistance is more ***-cutting and delamination are the primary wear mechanisms.

Metro shield tunnels under the lateral relaxation of soil(LRS)are susceptible to significant lateral deformations,which jeopardizes the structural safety and ***,deformation co.trol standards for such situations have not been clearly ***,based on a specific case,a model test is co.ducted to realize the LRS of a shield tunnel in a sandy stratum to reveal its effect on segment ***,a deformation co.trol criterion is *** LRS is simulated by linearly reducing the loads applied to the lateral sides of the segment *** lateral unloading,the lateral earth pressure co.fficient on the segment decreases almost exponentially,and the structural deformation is characterized by horizontal expansion at the arch haunches and vertical shrinkage at the arch vault and arch *** on the mechanical pattern of the segment structure and the aco.stic emission,the deformation response of a segment can be classified into three stages:elastic and quasi-elastic,damage,and rapid deformation *** a shield tunnel with a diameter of approximately 6 m and under the lateral relaxation of sandy soil,when the ellipticity of the segment is less than 2.71%,reinforcement measures are not ***,the segment deformation must be co.trolled when the ellipticity is 2.71%to 3.12%;in this regard,an ellipticity of 3%can be used as a benchmark in similar engineering projects.

Characteristics of Ce-Mn film on 6061 alloys and its improved performance

HF2- was applied to accelerate the Ce-Mn film formation on 6061A1 alloy in the Ce3+-*** process of film formation,the co.position and structure of the film were analyzed by scanning electron microsco.y(SEM) equipped with energy-dispersive spectrosco.y(EDS),X-ray photoelectron spectrosco.y(XPS)and X-ray diffractometer(XRD).The film formation process includes three *** the initial stage,a threedimensional(3D) skeleton was formed quickly,and then the skeleton was fully filled with cerium oxide and manganese oxide,resulting in a dense ***,a new skeleton was formed and also ***,Ce,O and Mn were detected in the *** existed mainly in the form of Ce4+(89%).The film existed in an amorphous form and was co.posed of ceria(cerium hydroxide),manganese dioxide and aluminum *** electrostatically spraying fluorocarbon powder,the resultant products satisfied the required mechanical performance and exhibited almost non-filament co.rosion co.pared with co.mercially available chromium-free co.version *** co.rosion resistant time to acetate spray can reach 2000 h,which is co.sistent with that of fluorocarbon *** results showed that Ce-Mn film can offer an attractive prospect to eliminate volatile organic co.pounds(VOC) problem arisen by using fluorocarbon paint in the process of industrial production.

Design and fabrication of a new fluorescence enhancement system of silver nanoparticles-deco.ated aligned silver nanowires

A new substrate,aligned Ag nanowires deco.ated with silver nanoparticle co.posite structure(AgNWs@AgNPs),was fabricated to investigate metalenhanced fluorescence(MEF) and its *** new co.posite structure was fabricated via a three-phase interface assembly method followed by SnCl2 sensitization and AgNO3 reduction *** size and distribution of the nanoparticles on silver nanowires increased with the sensitization and reduction *** formation of AgNPs on the surfaces of AgNWs was co.firmed by multiple characterization methods including scanning electron microsco.y(SEM),transmission electron microsco.e(TEM),atomic force microsco.y(AFM) and X-ray diffraction(XRD).The results show that the fluorescence intensity of the poly(3-hexylthiophene)(P3HT) on the co.posite structure was greatly enhanced co.pared with that on bare glass substrate,and the intensity increased with the increase in particle sizes and *** mechanism was basedo n the increase in excitation rate and the radiation decay *** new type of substrate co.ld serve as a good and efficient MEF substrate for high-performance fluorescence-based devices.
