This paper systematically studies the flashover probability of wind turbine blade lightning arrester and the impact of strong electromagnetic pulses on the local and surrounding wind turbines during lightning strikes.The research results indicate that the flashover probability of direct lightning strikes by the wind turbine blade lightning arrester is almost negligible,and the strong electromagnetic pulse of wind turbine blade during lightning strikes has a serious impact on the electronic equipment of the machine,while the impact on the surrounding wind turbine is relatively small.At the same time,the calculation formula for the reflection of lightning current on the carbon brush between the wind turbine hub and the engine compartment during the flashing of the wind turbine blades is provided,and the calculation method for calculating the spatial gradient distribution of electromagnetic field intensity using Biot-Savart Law theorem is applied.The limitations of using wind turbine blades for lightning protection are pointed out,and a technical route for achieving wind turbine lightning safety is proposed,which can be used as a reference for wind turbine lightning protection technicians.

The hexaploid sweetpotato(lpomoea batatas)is one of the most important root crops worldwide.However,its genetic origin remains controversial,and its domestication history remains unknown.In this study,we used a range of genetic evidence and a newly developed haplotype-based phylogenetic analysis to identify two probable progenitors of sweetpotato.The diploid progenitor was likely closely related to lpomoea ae-quatoriensis and contributed the B,subgenome,IbT-DNA2,and the lineage 1 type of chloroplast genome to sweetpotato.The tetraploid progenitor of sweetpotato was most likely l.batatas 4x,which donated the B2 subgenome,IbT-DNA1,and the lineage 2 type of chloroplast genome.Sweetpotato most likely originated from reciprocal crosses between the diploid and tetraploid progenitors,followed by a subsequent whole-genome duplication.In addition,we detected biased gene exchanges between the subgenomes;the rate of B,to B2 subgenome conversions was nearly three times higher than that of B2 to B subgenome conver-sions.Our analyses revealed that genes involved in storage root formation,maintenance of genome stabil-ity,biotic resistance,sugar transport,and potassium uptake were selected during the speciation and domestication of sweetpotato.This study sheds light on the evolution of sweetpotato and paves the way forimprovementofthiscrop.

Langerhans cell histiocytosis(LCH)is a rare proliferative histiocyte disorder.It can affect any organ or system,especially the bone,skin,lung,and central nervous system(CNS).In the CNS,the hypothalamic-pituitary is predominantly affected,whereas the brain parenchyma is rarely affected.LCH occurring in the brain parenchyma can be easily confused with glioblastoma or brain metastases.Thus,multimodal imaging is useful for the differential diagnosis of these intracerebral lesions and detection of lesions in the other organs.CASE SUMMARY A 47-year-old man presented with a headache for one week and sudden syncope.Brain computed tomography(CT)and magnetic resonance imaging showed an irregularly shaped nodule with heterogeneous enhancement.On^(18)F-fluorodeoxyglucose(^(18)F-FDG)positron emission tomography/CT,a nodule with^(18)F-FDG uptake and multiple cysts in the upper lobes of both lungs were noted,which was also confirmed by high-resolution CT.Thus,the patient underwent surgical resection of the brain lesion for further examination.Postoperative pathology confirmed LCH.The patient received chemotherapy after surgery.No recurrence was observed in the brain at the 12-mo follow-up.CONCLUSION Multimodal imaging is useful for evaluating the systemic condition of LCH,developing treatment plans,and designing post-treatment strategies.

Dynamic ageing research of cross‐linked polyethylene cable insulation based on temporal‐spatial dimension under combined electro‐thermal effect

Dynamic ageing process of cross‐linked polyethylene(XLPE)cable insulation under combined electro‐thermal effect is investigated by the construction of theoretical analysis model and the practice of operation‐simulated ageing test.Firstly,theoretical analysis model is constructed from time and spatial dimensions.From the time dimension,in the light of the impeding trend of internal stress to external stress,the XLPE ageing process of Steady state‐Transition state‐Steady state(STS)is proposed to illustrate the dynamic ageing process of XLPE.From the spatial dimension,the insulation is divided into three scales to quantify the ageing.Secondly,to practice the theoretical analysis model,an operation‐simulated ageing test was conducted on two high voltage alternating current cables with service years of 15 and 30 for 540 days.Subsequently,relevant diagnostic measurements were applied to analyse the influence of physicochemical characteristics on the dielectric and heat transfer performances of the cables.The results show that the degradation of the actual operating cable is an extremely slow process.On the one hand,the response in physical changes of morphology counterbalances the external stress,maintaining the stability.On the other hand,once the chemical changes occur,negative feedback mechanism tends to impede the occurrence of further degradation by regulating fields distribution.

Indosinian isotope ages of plutons and deposits in southwestern Miaoershan-Yuechengling,northeastern Guangxi and implications on Indosinian mineralization in South China

The Miaoershan-Yuechengling complex pluton is the largest granitoid complex in the western Nanling metallogenic belt with a surface exposure of >3000 km2.The complex pluton is composed of an early stage granitoid batholith and late stage small intrusions.The early stage batholith contains mainly medium-grained porphyritic mica granite and porphyritic monzonite granite,whereas the late stage intrusions are composed of muscovite granite porphyry and muscovite monzonitic granite.There are many W-Sn-Mo-Pb-Zn-Cu ores in the contact zone between the batholith and strata,forming an ore-rich belt around the batholith.Based on zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb ages,the southwestern part of the early stage batholith formed at 228.7 ± 4.1 Ma(MSWD = 2.49),with slightly earlier magmatic activity at 243.0 ± 5.8 Ma(MSWD = 2.62).The Yuntoujie muscovite granite was associated with W-Mo mineralization and has a zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb age of 216.8 ± 4.9 Ma(MSWD = 1.44).The Re-Os isochron age of molybdenite from the Yuntoujie W-Mo ore was 216.8 ± 7.5 Ma(MSWD = 11.3).Our new isotope data suggest that the late stage intrusive stocks from the southwestern Miaoershan-Yuechengling batholith were closely associated with W-Mo mineralization from the Indosinian period.These new results together with previous isotope data,suggest that South China underwent not only the well-known Yanshanian mineralization event,but also a widespread Indosinian metallogenic event during the Mesozoic period.Therefore,South China has a greater potential for Indosinian mineralization than previously thought such that more attention should be given to the Indosinian ore prospecting in South China.

Background:Soybean has long been utilized in the realm of traditional Chinese medicine.One of its extracts,soybean glycolipids,serves as a vital by-product of soybean oil refining,but its chemical composition and pharmacological potential have yet to be fully elucidated.Methods:In this study,the chemical components were isolated,and the inhibitory effects of these isolates were explored in different zebrafish inflammatory models by survival rate,Histological examination assay and quantitative Real-time PCR assay.The cytotoxicity of daidzin in RAW264.7 cells was evaluated by cell viability assay,and the effect of daidzin on the release of inflammatory cytokines in RAW264.7 cells was detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Western blotting,immunofluorescence assay and alpha7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptors siRNA transfection assay were used to further explore the anti-inflammatory mechanism of daidzin.Results:Four compounds(verticilloside,soya-cerebroside I,soya-cerebroside II and daidzin)were firstly isolated from the soybean glycolipids,among which verticilloside and daidzin inhibited the lipopolysaccharide,CuSO4-and tail cut-stimulated zebrafish inflammation.Noticeably,daidzin exhibited anti-inflammatory activities by increasing the survival rate,alleviating the inflammatory cells infiltration,and down-regulating the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines and nuclear factor kappa-B,NF-kappa-B inhibitor alpha,and signal transducer and activator of transcription3 in zebrafish.Moreover,daidzin decreased the secretion of IL-6 and TNF-α,inhibited the nuclear translocations of nuclear factor kappa-B p65 and p-signal transducer and activator of transcription3 as well as the NF-kappa-B inhibitor alpha phosphorylation at Ser32 in RAW 264.7 cells.More importantly,it elevated the expression level of alpha7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in both zebrafish and RAW 264.7 cells,and the inhibitory effect of daidzin was attenuated after the addition of alpha7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptors siRNA.Conclusion

Novel STING-targeted PET radiotracer for alert and therapeutic evaluation of acute lung injury

Acute lung injury(ALI),as a common clinical emergency,is pulmonary edema and diffuse lung infiltration caused by inflammation.The lack of non-invasive alert strategy,resulting in failure to carry out preventive treatment,means high mortality and poor prognosis.Stimulator of interferon genes(STING)is a key molecular biomarker of innate immunity in response to inflammation,but there is still a lack of STING-targeted strategy.In this study,a novel STING-targeted PET tracer,[~(18)F]FBTA,was labeled with high radiochemical yield(79.7±4.3%)and molar activity(32.5±2.9 GBq/μmol).We confirmed that[~(18)F]FBTA has a strong STING binding affinity(K_d=26.86±6.79 nmol/L)and can be used for PET imaging in ALI mice to alert early lung inflammation and to assess the efficacy of drug therapy.Our STING-targeted strategy also reveals that[~(18)F]FBTA can trace ALI before reaching the computed tomography(CT)diagnostic criteria,and demonstrates its better specificity and distribution than[~(18)F]fluorodeoxyglucose([~(18)F]FDG).

A Paleozoic mercury mineralisation event in South China:In situ U-Pb dating and chemical compositions of calcite from the Jianyan Hg deposit

The ages of hydrothermal Hg deposits are difficult to constrain because of the lack of suitable minerals for dating.The South China low-temperature metallogenic domain hosts numerous Hg deposits,including the Jianyan Hg deposit that is composed mainly of cinnabar and calcite.There are two stages of calcite in the deposit:syn-ore calcite(Cal-Ⅰ)and post-ore/barren calcite(Cal-Ⅱ).Cal-Ⅰis mainly euhedral-subhedral and fine-grained,has homogeneous grey luminescence,and is associated with cinnabar.Subhedral-anhedral Cal-Ⅱcrosscuts Cal-Ⅰand is relatively coarse-grained.The syn-ore Cal-Ⅰhas high U contents(0.1–1.3 ppm)and U/Pb ratios(up to 4.2),and is thus suitable for U-Pb dating.Using a laser ablation-inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometer equipped with ion counters,we obtained a U-Pb age of 426.3±5.7 Ma(MSWD=1.5)for CalI.This age is interpreted to represent the timing of Hg mineralisation at Jianyan and is similar to ages of 440–400 Ma reported for many carbonate-hosted Pb-Zn and Ba-F deposits in South China.Based on the present results in combination with existing geochemical and geochronological data,we infer that these deposits belong to a Paleozoic Hg-Pb-Zn-Ba-F mineralisation system that was controlled by Caledonian tectonism.

Hemolysis of PM_(10) on RBCs in vitro:An indoor air study in a coal-burning lung cancer epidemic area

Epidemiological studies have suggested that inhalation exposure to indoor ambient air from coal-burning environments is causally associated with respiratory health risks.In order to explore the toxicological mechanisms behind the adverse health effects,the hemolytic activity of PM_(10)(particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter of 10 um or less)samples collected from homes burning coal in the recognized China"cancer village"Xuanwei were evaluated and matched against their trace elemental contents.The results demonstrated that the hemolytic activity of indoor PM_(10) in coal-burning environments ranged from 4.28%to 5.24%,with a clear positive dose-response relationship.Although low dose samples exhibited a reduced hemolytic activity,PM_(10) could have a toxic effect upon people in a coal-burning indoor environment for extended time periods.The concentrations of analyzed trace elements in PM_(10) samples ranged from 6966 to 12,958 ppm.Among the analyzed elements,Zn,Ti,Ni,Cu,Pb,Ba,Mn,Cr and V were found at higher concentrations and accounted for over 95%of the total elements.The concentrations of total analyzed elements in the PM_(10) samples revealed a significant positive correlation with PM_(10) hemolytic activity.Of the analyzed elements,Zn,Pb and Cs positively correlated with hemolysis,while Li,U and V negatively correlated with the hemolysis of human red blood cells(RBCs).Therefore,the heavy metal elements could be one of the main factors responsible for the hemolytic capacity of indoor PM_(10) in coal-burning environments.
