Heterojunction-engineered carrier transport in elevated-metal metal-oxide thin-film transistors

This study investigates the carrier transport of heterojunction channel in oxide semiconductor thin-film transistor(TFT)using the elevated-metal metal-oxide(EMMO)architecture and indium−zinc oxide(InZnO).The heterojunction band diagram of InZnO bilayer was modified by the cation composition to form the two-dimensional electron gas(2DEG)at the interface quantum well,as verified using a metal−insulator−semiconductor(MIS)*** the 2DEG indeed contributes to a higher mobility than the monolayer channel,the competition and cooperation between the gate field and the built-in field strongly affect such mobility-boosting effect,originating from the carrier inelastic collision at the heterojunction interface and the gate field-induced suppression of quantum *** from the proper energy-band engineering,a high mobility of 84.3 cm2·V^(−1)·s^(−1),a decent threshold voltage(V_(th))of−6.5 V,and a steep subthreshold swing(SS)of 0.29 V/dec were obtained in InZnO-based heterojunction TFT.

High performance inkjet-printed QLEDs with 18.3% EQE: improving interfacial contact by novel halogen-free binary solvent system

Poly[(9,9-dioctylfluorenyl-2,7-diyl)-alt(4,4′-(N-(4-butylphenyl))](TFB),one of the most popular and widely used hole-transport layer(HTL)materials,has been successfully applied in high performance spin-coated quantum dots-based light-emitting diodes(QLEDs)due to its suitable energy level and high ***,there are still many challenging issues in inkjet-printed QLED devices when using TFB as *** normally suffers from the interlayer mixing and erosion,and low surface energy against the good film ***,a novel environment-friendly binary solvent system was established for formulating quantum dot(QD)inks,which is based on mixing halogen-free alkane solvents of decalin and *** optimum volume ratio for the mixture of decalin and n-tridecane was found to be 7:3,at which a stable ink jetting flow and coffee-ring free QD films could be *** research the influence of substrate surface on the formation of inkjet-printed QD films,TFB was annealed at different temperatures,and the optimum annealing temperature was found to enable high quality inkjet-printed QD ***-printed red QLED was ultimately manufactured.A maximum 18.3%of external quantum efficiency(EQE)was achieved,reaching 93%of the spin-coated QLED,which is the best reported high efficiency inkjet-printed red QLEDs to *** addition,the inkjet-printed QLED achieved similar T75 operational lifetime(27 h)as compared to the spin-coated reference QLED(28 h)at 2,000 cd·m−*** work demonstrated that the novel orthogonal halogen-free alkane co-solvents can improve the interfacial contact and facilitate high-performance inkjet printing QLEDs with high EQE and stability.

The exploitation of electromagnetic wave absorption(EMA) materials has attracted ever-increasing attention,not only because electromagnetic wave(EMW) originated from overuse of electronic products has threatened human' health seriously,but also because EMA materials can effectively protect radar stealth from being ***,it is still a challenge to obtain broadband and efficient EMA materials to satisfy practical *** this work,we developed a series of hierarchical CoFe alloy/porous carbon@carbon nanotubes(CoFe/PC@CNTs) nanocomposites through revising the proportion of Fe^(2+) in the metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)(CoFe-ZIF) precursor and one-step simple pyrolysis *** cross deposition between CoFe alloy,carbon nanotubes(CNTs),and porous carbon(PC) formed a double conductive network,favoring for achieving excellent EMA ***,when the filler mass ratio is only 10 wt%,the optimized CoFe/PC@CNTs nanocomposites display the best EMA capability,whose minimum reflection loss(RL_(min)) value is-68.94 dB at 13.69 GHz and the effective absorption band(EAB,<-10 dB) reaches up 9.14 GHz with a matching thickness of 2.63 *** addition,the largest EAB can achieve up to 11 GHz(3.35-14.35 GHz) during all matching *** splendid EMA performance benefits the favorable dielectric loss provided by the double conductive network,the good magnetic loss benefited from the evenly distributed CoFe alloy,the excellent impedance matching,rich transmission paths,and multiple ***,such EMA materials with super broadband absorbing provide desirable candidates for lightweight and high-efficient microwave absorbers.

Identification of HBsAg-specific antibodies from a mammalian cell displayed full-length human antibody library of healthy immunized donor

Hepatitis B immunoglobulin （HBIG） is important in the management of hepatitis B virus （HBV） infection. Aiming to develop recombinant monoclona# antibodies as an alternative to HBIG, we report the successful identification of HBV surface antigen （HBsAg）-specific antibodies from a full-length human antibody library displayed on mammalian cell surface. Using total RNA of peripheral blood mononuclear cells of a natively immunized donor as template, the antibody repertoire was amplified. Combining four-way ligation and the FIp recombinase-mediated integration （FIp-ln） system, we constructed a mammalian cell-based, fully human, full-length antibody display library in which each cell displayed only one kind of antibody molecule. By screening the cell library using fluorescence-activated cell sorting （FACS）, eight cell clones that displayed HBsAg-specific antibodies on cell surfaces were identified. DNA sequence analysis of the antibody genes revealed three unique antibodies. FACS data indicated that fluorescent strength of expression （FSE）, fluorescent strength of binding （FSB） and relative binding ability （RBA） were all different among them. These results demonstrated that by using our antibody mammalian display and screening platform, we can successfully identify antigen-specific antibodies from an immunized full-length antibody library. Therefore, this platform is very useful for the development of therapeutic antibodies.
