Effects of counter-current driven by electron cyclotron waves on neoclassical tearing mode suppression

Through theoretical analysis,we construct a physical model that includes the influence of counter-external driven current opposite to the plasma current direction in the neoclassical tearing mode(NTM).The equation is used with this model to obtain the modified Rutherford equation with co-current and counter-current *** with the reported experimental results,numerical simulations have shown that the localized counter external current can only partially suppress NTM when it is far from the resonant magnetic *** some circumstances,the Ohkawa mechanism dominated current drive(OKCD)by electron cyclotron waves can concurrently create both co-current and *** this instance,the minimal electron cyclotron wave power that suppresses a particular NTM was calculated by the Rutherford *** result is marginally less than when taking co-current alone into *** a result,to suppress NTM using OKCD,one only needs to align the co-current with a greater OKCD peak well with the resonant magnetic *** effect of its lower counter-current does not need to be considered because the location of the counter-current deviates greatly from the resonant magnetic surface.

Anode free lithium metal batteries(AF-LMBs)have conspicuous advantages both in energy density and the compatibility of battery manufacturing ***,the limited cycle life of AF-LMBs is a crucial factor hindering its practical *** or nitride artificial inorganic solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)has been found as an effective method to prolong the lifespan of ***,by investigating the impact of nano-sized inorganic gradient layers(LiF or Li3N)on initial Li deposition behavior,we notice that the Li^(+) diffusion barrier and the deposition morphology are highly depended on the thickness of inorganic *** protective layers cause larger overpotential as well as more aggregated Li^(+) *** study reveals that the ideal SEI should be synthesized thin and uniformly enough and uncontrollable artificial SEI can cause damage to the lifespan of AF-LMBs.

With the rapid development of wireless communications,cellular communication and distributed wireless network are fragile to eavesdropping due to distributed users and transparent ***,to adopt bigger transmit power at a given area to interfere potential eavesdroppers not only incurs huge energy waste but also may suppresses regular communication in this *** this end,we focus on secure communication in multi-hop wireless communication network,and propose two communicating while jamming schemes for secure communication in presence of potential eavesdroppers for the narrow band and broad band point-to-point(P2P) systems respectively with the aid of artificial noise transmitted by a chosen cooperative ***,to achieve the end-to-end(E2E) multi-hop secure communication,we devise the secure network topology discovering *** constructing a proper network topology with at least one proper node as the cooperative interferer in each hop,and then propose the secure transmission path planning scheme to find an E2E secure transmission route from source to destination,*** on the wireless open-access research platform demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed ***,simulations results validate that the proposed schemes can achieve better performance compared with existing methods in both the P2P communication case and E2E multi-hop communication network scenario.

Electrocatalytic oxidation of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural(HMF)to 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid(FDCA),a sustainable strategy to produce bio-based plastic monomer,is always conducted in a high-concentration alkaline solution(1.0 mol L^(-1)KOH)for high ***,such high concentration of alkali poses challenges including HMF degradation and high operation costs associated with product ***,we report a single-atom-ruthenium supported on Co3O4(Ru1-Co3O4)as a catalyst that works efficiently in a low-concentration alkaline electrolyte(0.1 mol L^(-1)KOH),exhibiting a low potential of 1.191 V versus a reversible hydrogen electrode to achieve 10 m A cm^(-2)in 0.1 mol L^(-1)KOH,which outperforms previous *** studies demonstrate that single-atom-Ru significantly enhances hydroxyl(OH-)adsorption with insufficient OH-supply,thus improving HMF *** showcase the potential of Ru1-Co3O4catalyst,we demonstrate its high efficiency in a flow reactor under industrially relevant ***,techno-economic analysis shows that substitution of the conventional1.0 mol L^(-1)KOH with 0.1 mol L^(-1)KOH electrolyte may significantly reduce the minimum selling price of FDCA by 21.0%.This work demonstrates an efficient catalyst design for electrooxidation of biomass working without using strong alkaline electrolyte that may contribute to more economic biomass electro-valorization.

The objective of this paper was to study low temperature crack resistance mechanism of steel slag asphalt mixture(SAM).Thermal stress restrained specimen test(TSRST)and three-point bending test were carried out to evaluate the low-temperature crack resistance of SAM and basalt asphalt mixture(BAM).Based on the digital image correlation technique(DIC),the strain field distribution and crack propagation of SAM were analyzed from the microscopic point of view,and a new index,crack length factor(C),was proposed to evaluate the crack resistance of the asphalt *** crystal phase composition and microstructure of steel slag aggregate(SA)and basalt aggregate(BA)were studied by X-ray diffraction(XRD)and scanning electron microscopy(SEM)to explore the low-temperature crack resistance mechanism of *** show that the low-temperature crack resistance of SAM is better than that of BAM;SAM has good integrity and persistent elastic deformation,and its bending failure mode is a hysteretic quasi-brittle failure;The SA surface is evenly distributed with pores and has surface *** has the composition phase of alkaline aggregate-calcite(CaCO3),so it has good adhesion to asphalt,which reveals the mechanism of excellent low-temperature crack resistance of SAM.
