Efficient desorption and reuse of co.lector from the flotation co.centrate:A case study of scheelite

Flotation is the most co.mon method to obtain co.centrate through the selective adsorption of co.lectors on target minerals to make them hydrophobic and *** the hydrometallurgy of co.centrate,co.lectors adsorbed on co.centrate can damage ion-exchange resin and increase the chemical oxygen demand(co.)value of *** this work,we proposed a new scheme,i.e.,desorbing the co.lectors from co.centrate in ore dressing plant and reusing them in flotation *** nitrate and benzohydroxamic acid(Pb-BHA)co.plex is a co.mon co.lector in scheelite *** this study,different physical(stirring or ultrasonic waves)and chemical(strong acid or alkali environment)methods for facilitating the desorption of Pb-BHA co.lector from scheelite co.centrate were ***-mineral desorption tests showed that under the co.dition of pulp pH 13 and ultrasonic treatment for 15 min,the highest desorption rates of Pb and BHA from the scheelite co.centrate were 90.48%and 63.75%,***-of-mine ore flotation tests revealed that the reuse of desorbed Pb and BHA reduced the co.lector dosage by 30%for BHA and 25%for *** strong alkali environment broke the chemical bonds between Pb and *** cavitation effect of ultrasonic waves effectively reduced the interaction intensity between Pb-BHA co.lector and scheelite *** method co.bining ultrasonic waves and strong alkali environment can effectively desorb the co.lectors from co.centrate and provide“clean”scheelite co.centrate for metallurgic plants;the reuse of desorbed co.lector in flotation flowsheet can reduce reagent co.t for ore dressing plants.

This study employed multispectral techniques to evaluate fulvic acid(FA)co.positional characteristic and elucidate its biodegradation mechanisms during partial nitritation(PN)*** showed that FA removal efficiency(FRE)decreased from 90.22 to 23.11%when FA co.centrations in the reactor were increased from 0 to 162.30 mg/L,and that molecular size,degree of aromatization and humification of the effluent FA macromolecules all increased after *** population analysis ind.cated that the proliferation of the co.amonas,OLB12 and Thauera exhibit high FA utilization capacity in lower co.centrations(<50.59 mg/L),promoting the degradation and removal of macromolecular *** addition,the sustained increase in external FA may decrease the abundance of above functional microorganisms,resulting in a rapid drop in ***,from the genetic perspective,the elevated FA levels restricted carbohydrate(ko00620,ko00010 and ko00020)and nitrogen(HAO,AMO,NIR and NOR)metabolism-related pathways,thereby impeding FA removal and total nitrogen loss associated with N_(2)O emissions.

Due to the increasing global population and limited land resources, co.tinuous cropping has beco.e co.mon. However, after a few years of co.tinuous cropping, obstacles often arise that cause soil degeneration, decreased crop yield and quality, and increased disease incidence, resulting in significant eco.omic losses. It is essential to understand the causes and mitigation mechanisms of co.tinuous cropping obstacles(Cco.) and then develop appropriate methods to overco.e them. This review systematically summarizes the causes and mitigation measures of soil degradation in co.tinuous cropping through a meta-analysis. It was co.cluded that not all co.tinuous cropping systems are prone to Cco.. Therefore, it is necessary to grasp the principles governing the occurrence of diseases caused by soilborne pathogens in different cropping systems, co.sider plant–soil-organisms interactions as a system, scientifically regulate the physical and chemical properties of soils from a systems perspective, and then regulate the structure of microbial food webs in the soil to achieve a reduction in diseases caused by soilborne pathogens and increase crop yield ultimately. This review provides reference data and guidance for addressing this fundamental problem.

A series of model catalysts were obtained by treating co.mercial fresh and spent catalysts unloaded from the factory with different methods, including green oil dipping, extraction and high-temperature regeneration;finally, the deactivation behavior of the co.mercial catalyst for acetylene hydrogenation were studied. The influence of various possible deactivation factors on the catalytic performance was elucidated via detailed structural characterization, surface co.position analysis, and activity *** results showed that green oil, carbon deposit and sintering of active metal were the main reasons for deactivation, among which green oil and carbon deposit led to rapid deactivation, while the activity co.ld be reco.ered after regeneration by high-temperature calcination. The sintering of active metal co.ponents was attributed to the high-temperature regeneration in hydrothermal co.ditions, which was slow but irreversible and acco.nted for permanent deactivation. Thus, optimizing the regeneration is expected to extend the service life of the co.mercial catalyst.

Genetic information is transcribed from genomic DNA to mRNA,which is then translated into threedimensional *** can undergo various post-transcriptional modifications,including RNA editing that alters mRNA sequences,ultimately affecting protein *** this study,RNA editing was identified at the 499th base(c.499)of human vaccinia-related kinase 2(VRK2).This RNA editing changes the amino acid in the catalytic domain of VRK2 from isoleucine(with adenine base)to valine(with guanine base).Isoleucine-co.taining VRK2 has higher kinase activity than the valine-co.taining VRK2,which leads to an increase in tumor cell *** we reported that VRK2 directly interacts with dystrobrevin-bind.ng protein(dysbind.n)and results in reducing its ***,we demonstrate that isoleucine-co.taining VRK2 decreases the level of dysbind.n than valineco.taining *** interacts with cyclin D and thereby regulates its expression and *** reduction in the level of dysbind.n by isoleucine-co.taining VRK2 further enhances the cyclin D expression,resulting in increased tumor growth and reduction in survival *** has also been observed that in patient samples,VRK2 level was elevated in breast cancer tissue co.pared to normal breast ***,the isoleucine form of VRK2 exhibited a greater increase in breast cancer ***,it is co.cluded that VRK2,especially dependent on the 167th variant amino acid,can be one of the ind.xes of tumor progression and proliferation.
