Questionnaires and interviews are employed in this paper to investigate and analyze the situation with respect to express packaging waste at the graduate school of the chinese academy of Social sciences(GCASS).The survey results show that:(1)the campus receives a large number of express packages and there is,in turn,a considerable amount of packaging waste;(2)there are four main types of express packaging materials:paper packaging,plastic bags,wrapping tapes and package fillers;(3)neither the students nor the school perform well in the recycling of express packaging waste;(4)the samples investigated in this paper can be divided into four categories by cluster analysis,and the author infers from this that the colleges and universities with a large proportion of female students should pay more attention to the issue of recycling of express packaging *** suggestions are presented based on the research results:(1)establishing a campus waste recycling system is the most efficient way to solve the problem of express packaging waste at GCASS;(2)we should advocate for green packaging and manage it from the source of waste generation because most of the express packaging material does not easily degrade naturally,and this represents a huge hidden danger to human health and the environment;(3)the school should cultivate student awareness of environmental *** education and penalties are implemented together,the recovery system will run better.

In this paper,fixed-time consensus tracking for mul-tiagent systems(MASs)with dynamics in the form of strict feed-back affine nonlinearity is addressed.A fixed-time antidistur-bance consensus tracking protocol is proposed,which consists of a distributed fixed-time observer,a fixed-time disturbance observer,a nonsmooth antidisturbance backstepping controller,and the fixed-time stability analysis is conducted by using the Lyapunov theory *** paper includes three main ***,a distributed fixed-time observer is developed for each follower to obtain an estimate of the leader’s output by utilizing the topology of the communication ***,a fixed-time disturbance observer is given to estimate the lumped disturbances for feedforward ***,a nonsmooth antidisturbance backstepping tracking controller with feedforward compensation for lumped disturbances is *** order to mitigate the“explosion of complexity”in the tradi-tional backstepping approach,we have implemented a modified nonsmooth command filter to enhance the performance of the closed-loop *** simulation results show that the pro-posed method is effective.

We have successfully developed cryogen-free dilution refrigerators with medium cooling power that can be applied to quantum experiments. Breakthroughs have been made in some key technologies and components of heat switches and dilution units. Our prototype has been running continuously and stably for more than 100 hours below 10 m K, with a minimum temperature of 7.6 m K and a cooling power of 450 μW at 100 m K. At the same time, we have also made progress in the application of dilution refrigerators, such as quantum computing, low-temperature detector, and magnet integration. These indicators and test results indicate good prospects for application in physics, astronomy, and quantum information.

Searching and designing new materials play crucial roles in the development of energy storage devices. In today's world where machine learning technology has shown strong predictive ability for various tasks, the combination with machine learning technology will accelerate the process of material development. Herein, we develop ESM Cloud Toolkit for energy storage materials based on Mat Elab platform, which is designed as a convenient and accurate way to automatically record and save the raw data of scientific research. The ESM Cloud Toolkit includes multiple features such as automatic archiving of computational simulation data, post-processing of experimental data, and machine learning applications. It makes the entire research workflow more automated and reduces the entry barrier for the application of machine learning technology in the domain of energy storage materials. It integrates data archive, traceability, processing, and reutilization, and allows individual research data to play a greater role in the era of AI.

This paper focuses on the state estimate for a class of systems with both process noise and measurement noise under binary-valued observations, in which the Gaussian assumption on the predicted density of the state is not required. A recursive projected filter algorithm with time-varying thresholds is constructed to estimate the state under binary-valued observations. The time-varying thresholds are designed as the prediction value of the measurement, which can provide more information about the system state. The convergence property is established with some suitable stability,boundedness and observability conditions. In particular, the estimation error between state and estimate is proved to be asymptotically bounded in the mean-square sense, whose upper bound is related to the variance of process noise. Finally, the theoretical results are demonstrated via numerical examples of first-order and high-order systems.

Fully homomorphic encryption（FHE） can be used for privacy-preserving aggregation of medical data. In this typical application, the security against passive attacks has been well studied by Li and Micciancio（2021）. In this paper, the authors further consider a “nearly passive” kind of attack, where the attacker may behave like a passive attacker in the view of the third-party *** capture the security against this hard-to-detect attack, the authors propose a new notion of IND-CPArDsecurity. The authors show that the standard LWE encryption and its related FHE schemes can not defend against IND-CPArDattack, even under a stricter rule limiting the content and number of queries made by the attacker. To make the application of FHE schemes more secure, the authors discuss some possible modifications that may serve as countermeasures to IND-CPArDattack.
