Development of Ti–V–Cr–Mn–Mo–Ce high-entropy alloys for high-density hydrogen storage in water bath environments

The V-based body-centered cubic （BCC）-type hydrogen storage alloys have attracted significant attention due to their high theoretical hydrogen storage capacity of3.80 wt%.However,their practical application faces challenges related to low dehydriding capacity and poor activation *** overcome these challenges,a BCC-type Ti–V–Cr–Mn–Mo–Ce high-entropy alloy（HEA） with an effectively dehydriding capacity of 2.5 wt% above 0.1 MPa was *** introduction of Mo and conducting heat treatment,the precipitation of Ti-rich phase in HEA was successfully suppressed,resulting in improved compositional uniformity and dehydriding ***,the effective dehydriding capacity increased significantly from 0.60 wt% to 2.50 wt% a65℃,surpassing that of other types of hydrogen storage alloys under the same ***,the addition of 1 wt%Ce enabled initial hydrogen absorption at 25℃ without the need for activation at 400℃.Furthermore,Ce doping reduced the dehydriding activation energy of the Ti–V–Cr–Mn–Mo–Ce HEA from 52.71 to 42.82 kJ·mol-1Additionally,the enthalpy value of dehydrogenation decreased from 46.89 to 17.96 k J·mol-1,attributed to a decrease in the hysteresis factor from 0.68 to *** findings provide valuable insights for optimizing the hydrogen storage property of HEA.

When a facial image is blurred,it significantly affects high-level vision tasks such as face *** purpose of facial image deblurring is to recover a clear image from a blurry input image,which can improve the recognition accuracy,***,general deblurring methods do not perform well on facial ***,some face deblurring methods have been proposed to improve performance by adding semantic or structural information as specific priors according to the characteristics of the facial *** this paper,we survey and summarize recently published methods for facial image deblurring,most of which are based on deep ***,we provide a brief introduction to the modeling of image ***,we summarize face deblurring methods into two categories:model-based methods and deep learning-based ***,we summarize the datasets,loss functions,and performance evaluation metrics commonly used in the neural network training *** show the performance of classical methods on these datasets and metrics and provide a brief discussion on the differences between model-based and learning-based ***,we discuss the current challenges and possible future research directions.

A small fraction of NOx（<1%） always exists in CO2feedstock（e.g. exhausted gas）, which can significantly reduce the efficiency of CO2electroreduction by ～30%. Hence, electrochemical denitrification is the precondition of CO2electroreduction. The pH effect is a key factor, and can be used to tune the selectivity between N2and N2O production in electrochemical denitrification. However, there has been much controversy for many years about the origin of pH dependence in electrocatalysis. To this end, we present a new scheme to accurately model the pH dependence of the electrochemical mechanism. An extremely small pH variation from pH 12.7 to pH 14 can be accurately reproduced for N2O production. More importantly,the obviously different pH dependence of N2production, compared to N2O, can be attributed to a cascade path. In other words, the N2was produced from the secondary conversion of the as-produced N2O molecule（the major product）, instead of the original reactant NO. This is further supported by more than 35 experiments over varying catalysts（Fe, Ni, Pd, Cu, Co, Pt and Ag）, partial pressures（20%, 50% and100%） and potentials（from -0.2 to 0.2 V vs. reversible hydrogen electrode）. All in all, the insights herein overturn long-lasting views in the field of NO electroreduction and suggest that rational design should steer away from catalyst engineering toward reactor optimization.

In-situ conversion presents a promising technique for exploiting continental oil shale formations,characterized by highly fractured organic-rich rock. A 3D in-situ conversion model, which incorporates a discrete fracture network, is developed using a self-developed thermal-flow-chemical(TFC) *** of the model elucidates the in-situ conversion process in three stages and defines the transformation of fluids into three distinct outcomes according to their end stages. The findings indicate that kerogen decomposition increases fluid pressure, activating fractures and subsequently enhancing permeability. A comprehensive analysis of activated fracture permeability and heating power reveals four distinct production modes, highlighting that increasing heating power correlates with higher cumulative fluid production. Activated fractures, with heightened permeability, facilitate the mobility of heavy oil toward production wells but hinder its cracking, thereby limiting light hydrocarbon ***, energy efficiency research demonstrates the feasibility of the in-situ conversion in terms of energy utilization, especially when considering the surplus energy from high-fluctuation energy sources such as wind and solar power to provide heating.

Sparse synthetic aperture radar(SAR) imaging has emerged as a reliable microwave imaging scheme in the recent decade and excels in down-sampling reconstruction and full-sampling performance improvements such as noise, sidelobe, speckle, and ambiguity suppression. To utilize complex image products of sparse reconstruction for improvement in polarimetric, interferometric, and tomographic SAR imaging, it is necessary to evaluate the phase preservation of sparse SAR imaging. In this study, we first introduce the general alternating direction method of multipliers(ADMM) as the universal framework for sparse reconstruction algorithms and adopt chirp scaling algorithm(CSA)-based azimuth-range decouple operators to avoid expensive data storage and processing. Further, we theoretically analyze the phase preservation of the sparse reconstruction algorithm through a comparison with the reconstruction results of CSA. Finally,we conduct the interferometric offset test on the sparse reconstruction results of simulated and real Gaofen-3(GF-3) SAR data, demonstrating the phase-preserving ability of sparse methods.
