Regimes of continuous and pulsed laser action on high-melting oxide compounds of ZrO2 were found with the aim of obtaining steady coatings on monocrystal silicon on laser ablation.X-ray phase analyses,scanning and atomic-force microscopy reveal that the coatings obtained are of nanocluster structure with the cubic *** this case the nanoclusters reach several hundreds of nanometers in *** assumption was made that on laser ablation of ZrO2 thermostabilization may take place where a minimum of the surface energy is attained just at cubic ordering.

This paper presents a method of the formation of composite polymer-containing coatings on a Mg–Mn–Ce magnesium alloy by forming a ceramic-like layer using plasma electrolytic oxidation(PEO)and subsequent spraying superdispersed polytetrafluoroethylene *** coating composition and their morphological features were studied by SEM,EDS,GDOES,and *** presented data confirm the embedding of fluoropolymer in the PEO *** evaluation of the corrosion properties of the formed composite polymer-containing coatings indicates a decrease in the corrosion current density by more than 3 orders of magnitude in comparison with the base PEO *** incorporation of a fluoropolymer in a PEO layer by more than 32%increases the load value at which abrasion of the coating to the substrate occurs and reduces the wear of the coating by more than 27 fold in comparison with the PEO *** has been established that composite coatings possess hydrophobic properties:the value of the contact angle attains 152°.

Extraction of precious metals from technogenic placers of primorye

Intensive development of gold placer deposits in the South Far East of Russia has produced numerous technogenic placers (concentration dump tailings) that contain fine free and bound gold and the platinum group metals. The secondary processing of these technogenic placers makes it possible to extract the whole set of precious metals from the concentration *** authors have elaborated the low-waste technology of extraction of useful components using the methods of gravitation, magnetic and electromagnetic separation, hydrometallurgy, and extraction. Usually, precious metals are leached with cyanide solutions that significantly deteriorate the ecological situation. Instead of them we propose to use thiocarbamide, thiocyanate, and mixed thiocarbamide and thiocyanate solutions in the process of utilization of the technogenic placers. Introduction of thiocyanate ions into the thiocarbamide leaching solutions increases the indices of gold extraction into a leaching solution. Efficiency of the precious metal extraction into leaching solutions is 94%-96%. Our investigations showed that liquid extraction of gold and silver from the leaching solutions permits the precious metals to be extracted with additional separation from admixtures and essential decrease of specific thiocarbamide consumption. Comparatively inexpensive tributyl phosphate and diphenyl thiourea that are manufactured in production quantities, are used as *** of the technogenic placers of Primorye will produce the raw material for repeated extraction of precious metals and will be favorable for the ecological situation in the populous districts of the region where the placers exist.

TiO_(2)-B/anatase nanotubes doped by vanadium have been synthesized through a facile one-step hydrothermal *** material shows a mesoporous structure with a specific surface area of 179.1 m^(2)g^(-1).XPS data presume the presence of V^(3+),V^(4+),V^(5+),and Ti^(3+) in doped TiO2-B/*** found by XRD and EIS investigations,the vanadium expands bronze titania crystal structure and enhances the conductivity of material by three orders of *** tested for lithium storage,the V-modified titania nanotubes show a specific capacity of 133 mA h g^(-1) after 100 charge/discharge cycles at the current density of 3000 mA g^(-1) with a Coulombic efficiency of around 98.9%,resulting in its good *** material still possesses a reversible capacity of 114 mA h g^(-1) at a very high current load of 6000 mA g^(-1),demonstrating superior rate characteristics for secondary lithium ***,V-doped Ti O2-B/anatase mesoporous nanotubes show promise performance as anode material for sodium-ion batteries,delivering about 119 mA h g^(-1) and 101 m A h g^(-1) at the current loads of 10 and 1500 m A g^(-1),respectively.

The discovery of shock waves at observations sun like stars quasi-zero method. Shock waves associated with solar flares in Ha, it is shown that the amplitude of shock waves decreases to the edge of the sun, it follows that these waves are global. The conclusion is that the appearance of these waves may be connected with explosions in the deeper layers of the sun.

In previous papers, the author considered the model of anomalous diffusion, defined by stable random process on an interval with reflecting edges. Estimates of the rate convergence of this process distribution to a uniform distribution are constructed. However, recent physical studies require consideration of models of diffusion, defined not only by stable random process with independent increments but multivariate fractional Brownian motion with dependent increments. This task requires the development of special mathematical techniques evaluation of the rate of convergence of the distribution of multivariate Brownian motion in a segment with reflecting boundaries to the limit. In the present work, this technology is developed and a power estimate of the rate of convergence to the limiting uniform distribution is built.

The spatial connections of endogenous deposits with anomalies of the vertical density gradient in lithosphere, calculated on the formulas for the spherical gravity sources are analyzed for Amur Province. The spatial parameters of tin-bearing, tungsten-bearing and gold-bearing regional ore-magmatic systems (ore regions, belts, zones and areas) are characterized by correlation of deep gradient density anomalies in the crust and upper mantle with the extensivity of superficial ore mineralization. Tin-ore deposits are mainly connected with density heterogeneities of the upper crust layer (up to a depth of 20 km), and tungsten, molibdenium and polymetallic deposits-with anomalies of the density gradient in the low crust layer (at a depth of 30 km) and in the upper mantle (at a depth of 60～70 km). Gold-ore regions are characterized by the greatest vertical range of fluid-magmatic systems (about 100 km from the surface) and arethrough ones in relation to mantle and crust tectonic structures. Opportunity is shown for the 3D density gradient model of the Amur Province lithosphere to be applied for constructing the forecast metallogenic models.

In this study,a calcium-phosphate coating was formed on a Mg-Mn-Ce alloy by the plasma electrolytic oxidation(PEO).The antibiotic vancomycin,widely used in the treatment of infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus(***),was impregnated into the *** with vancomycin showed high bactericidal activity against *** mechanical and electrochemical properties of the formed coatings were studied,as well as in vitro cytotoxicity tests and in vivo tests on mature male rats were *** to SEM,EDS,XRD and XPS data,coatings had a developed morphology and contained hydroxyapatite,which indicates high *** analysis of roughness of coatings without and with vancomycin did not reveal any differences,confirming the high roughness of the *** electrochemical tests,an increase in corrosion resistance by more than two times after the application of PEO coatings was *** to the results of an in vivo study,after 28 days of the implantation of samples with calcium phosphate PEO coating and vancomycin,no signs of inflammation were observed,while an inflammatory reaction developed in the area of implantation of bare alloy,followed by *** release tests from the coatings show a sharp decrease in the concentration of the released antibiotic on day 7 and then a gradual decrease until day *** the experiment,no significant deviations in the condition and behavior of the animals were observed;clinical tests did not reveal a systemic toxic reaction.
