In studies on gas hydrate,bottom-simulating reflectors(BSR)are used to determine the potential hydrate-bearing sedimentary ***,BSR detection is performed manually by experienced ***,a method for implementing an auto-matic BSR detection process should be *** this study,we develop a novel architecture for BSR characterization using the convolutional neural network(CNN)*** propose the use of Stokes’transform(ST)to obtain a time-frequency spectrum for the input of *** fully uses the frequency content of the seismic data,and a part of the 3D seismic data collected from the Blake Ridge is utilized to train the *** seismic records with variable signal-to-noise ratios(SNR),as well as Blake Ridge seismic data,were used to validate the detection effect of the *** show that the CNN trained by this method exhibits excellent performance in noise-resistant testing and achieves an accuracy of more than 89% in field seismic data detection.

Identification of reservoir types in deep carbonates has always been a great challenge due to complex logging responses caused by the heterogeneous scale and distribution of storage *** cross-plot analysis and empirical formula methods for identifying reservoir types using geophysical logging data have high uncertainty and low efficiency,which cannot accurately reflect the nonlinear relationship between reservoir types and logging ***,the kernel Fisher discriminant analysis(KFD),a kernel-based machine learning technique,attracts attention in many fields because of its strong nonlinear processing ***,the overall performance of KFD model may be limited as a single kernel function cannot simultaneously extrapolate and interpolate well,especially for highly complex data *** address this issue,in this study,a mixed kernel Fisher discriminant analysis(MKFD)model was established and applied to identify reservoir types of the deep Sinian carbonates in central Sichuan Basin,*** MKFD model was trained and tested with 453 datasets from 7 coring wells,utilizing GR,CAL,DEN,AC,CNL and RT logs as input *** particle swarm optimization(PSO)was adopted for hyper-parameter optimization of MKFD *** evaluate the model performance,prediction results of MKFD were compared with those of basic-kernel based KFD,RF and SVM ***,the built MKFD model was applied in a blind well test,and a variable importance analysis was *** comparison and blind test results demonstrated that MKFD outperformed traditional KFD,RF and SVM in the identification of reservoir types,which provided higher accuracy and stronger *** MKFD can therefore be a reliable method for identifying reservoir types of deep carbonates.

The positive structure belts surrounding the Taibei Sag,Turpan-Hami Basin,have been the main targets for oil and gas exploration for years and are now left with remaining resources scattering in reservoirs adjacent to source rocks in the sag,where the Shuixigou group with substantial oil and gas potential constitutes the primary focus for near-source ***,characterization of development and key controlling factors of reservoir space becomes a must for future exploration in the *** study investigates the development traits,genesis,and controlling factors of the Xishanyao and Sangonghe formations in the Shengbei and Qiudong Sub-sags of the Taibei Sag with techniques such as cast thin-section observation,porosity and permeability tests,high-pressure mercury injection,and saturation fluid NMR analysis of reservoir *** findings reveal that the Shuixigou group in the Taibei Sag consists of lithic *** in the group are mostly poor in terms of physical properties,with undeveloped primary pores dominated by intergranular dissolved pores as a result of a strong *** analysis of key controlling factors of the Sangonghe Formation reveals significant distinctions in sandstone particle size,sand body thickness,genesis and distribution,provenance location,and source rock type between the Qiudong area and Shengbei ***,the coal seams of the Xishanyao Formation exhibit heightened development with shallower burial depth and lower maturity compared to those of the Sangonghe ***,this environment fosters the formation of organic acids,which have a stronger dissolution effect on minerals to develop secondary dissolution pores,and ultimately resulting in better reservoir physical ***,the reservoirs within the Qiudong area of the Taibei Sag demonstrate superior characteristics compared to those in the Shengbei ***,the reservoir physical properties of the Xishanyao For

Multi-layer slopes are widely found in clay residue receiving fields.A generalized horizontal slice method(GHSM)for assessing the stability of multi-layer slopes that considers the energy dissipation between adjacent horizontal slices is *** view of the upper-bound limit analysis theory,the energy equation is derived and the ultimate failure mode is generated by comparing the sliding surface passing through the slope toe(mode A)with that below(mode B).In addition,the influence of the number of slices on the stability coefficients in the GHSM is studied and the stable value is *** to the original method(Chen’s method),the GHSM can acquire more precise results,which takes into account the energy dissipation in the inner sliding soil ***,the GHSM,limit equilibrium method(LEM)and numerical simulation method(NSM)are applied to analyze the stability of a multi-layer slope with different slope angles and the results of the safety factor and failure mode are very close in each *** ultimate failure modes are shown to be mode B when the slope angle is not more than 28°.It illustrates that the determination of the ultimate sliding surface requires comparison of multiple failure modes,not only mode A.

Highly efficient catalysts for electrolysis of water are crucial to the development of hydrogen energy which is helpful to carbon ***,high temperature shock(HTS),with advantage of rapid speed,universality and scalable production,has been a promising method in synthesis of *** this paper,HST was used to treat low Pt loading Mo_(6)S_(8)for enhanced water splitting ***,the optimized MoS_(2)/MoO_(2)/Mo_(6)S_(8)nano-composite with low Pt mass loading(~4%)displays well hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)electrochemical *** overpotential is 124 mV to reach 10 mA/cm^(2)and the corresponding Tafel slope is 88 mV/dec in acidic *** mass activity is 6.2 mA/μg_(Pt)at-124 mV ***,which is almost 2 times relative to 20%Pt/***,it presents distinguished stability even after 2000 *** work will broaden the way of catalysts preparation and the application of hydrogen evolution.

An analysis of the sectorial structure of energy consumption shows that residential and tertiary sector buildings are the third-highest consumers,responsible for 29.5%of a city’s final energy *** Building Quality Control Laboratory of the Basque Government aims to promote quality,innovation,and sustainability in *** accomplish this goal,it has constructed an experimental facility with different energy generation technologies and a very versatile control system for testing different energy systems and operation *** this study,we tested a facility for supplying domestic hot water and heating for a multi-family house by means of a condensing boiler and an aerothermal heat pump(together with the corresponding control).This installation could reproduce the thermal demands required to be satisfied by the generation equipment through a programmed operation of the installation based on real ***,this installation was analyzed using thermoeconomics(TE)to solve problems unable to be solved using traditional energy analyses based on the First Law of *** problems include:(1)Determining the costs of the products of the installation based on physical criteria,(2)detecting the places where losses actually occur,evaluating their costs,and proposing cost-effective improvements,and(3)diagnosing issues in the *** a result,this paper suggests a solution to the preventive maintenance problems confronting the technical maintenance personnel for thermal installations in buildings by applying TE knowledge and using real data collected from sensors.

Utilizing delayed expansion cemented paste backfill materials(DECPB) in mine backfill operations offers an effective solution to the challenge of achieving proper contact between the in-situ cemented backfill mass and the roof in mined-out areas(backfill-roof contact).This article presents recent progress in both theoretical and experimental research concerning *** types and mechanisms of expansive additives,including expansive agents,foaming agents,and expansive mineral materials relevant to DECPB,are explained,along with their impact on the expansive properties and mechanical characteristics of *** composition,material characteristics,preparation methods,and controlled release mechanisms of microcapsules are *** methods for measuring the volume change rate of paste backfill slurries are *** indicates that an appropriate content of expansive additives not only enhances the expansive properties of cemented paste backfill materials but also contributes to improving their mechanical *** foaming agents and bentonite are found to be more suitable for preparing DECPB compared to expansive *** delayed expansion of cemented paste backfill material is influenced by microcapsules,with their wall materials,preparation parameters,and the alkaline slurry environment affecting their controlled release *** and optimizing precise measurement devices and methods forfor the volume change rate of cemented paste backfill materials is essential requirement for studying the performance of *** delayed expansion technology with retarding techniques in cemented paste backfill materials can provide a reliable solution for achieving proper backfill-roof contact in the future.

Saline aquifers are the most popular waste and CO_(2)injection and storage reservoirs *** project proposes that several optimal injection positions should be investigated as hydraulic pressure-focused positions,in order to relieve the high demands of pump *** comprehensive indices(F_(i))representing the injectivity of different burial depths were obtained by using information entropy,based on the mercury injection experimental data of 13 rock *** results demonstrated that the burial depths of No.4,No.1 and No.2 in the Liujiagou Formation were the most suitable positions for hydraulic focused injection,which means the upper 30 m thickness could be regarded as the hydraulic focused range in the saline aquifer with an average thickness of 400 *** addition,some laboratory experiments and in situ tests were carried out for the purpose of certifying and analyzing results,including SEM,XRD,brittleness index and *** results suggested that the rock samples at the No.4,No.1 and No.2 burial depth ranges have loose microstructure,weak cementation,as well as dual pores and *** lithology is mainly quartz and feldspar,but the clay mineral content is high(10%-25%),which is positive for *** lithology is suitable for hydraulic fracturing to form extended cracks and micro-fissures during high-TDS(total dissolved solids)mine water injection,because of the high brittleness ***,a theoretical and technical framework for high-TDS mine water injection was established,based on operating pilot *** theoretical defects and drawbacks learned from the field practices were summarized and solutions *** research in this study could provide guidance and a paradigm for the inexpensive treatment of high-TDS mine water by injection and storage.
