1. Introduction Halogens, including fluorine(F), chlorine(Cl), bromine(Br), and iodine(I), are highly mobile and water-soluble elements that can become significantly enriched in melts and fluids. In fluids and melts, halogens react with nearly all metals and readily form complexes with metal cations, significantly influencing the distribution of metal elements between different phases. Therefore, halogens play a crucial role in the migration, enrichment, and mineralization of key metals in the lithosphere(Weis et al., 2012; Liu et al., 2024).

Malan loess is highly water-sensitive， with its shear strength， particularly cohesive strength， significantly decreasing under the influence of water. The Western Shanxi Loess Plateau （WSLP） is especially prone to loess landslides， which are closely linked to rainfall infiltration. Understanding the regional variation of Malan loess cohesion (cm) and its distribution in relation to the developmental intensity of landslides in this area can provide essential scientific evidence for effective landslide prevention. Loess landslides and Malan loess were selected as the objects of study for the current research. The regional variation and distribution pattern of the cmwere revealed through undisturbed loess direct shear tests and Inverse Distance Weighting （IDW） interpolation. The relationship between the developmental intensity of landslide and the regional variation of the cmwas explored using the Cumulative Sum Variable Dimension Fractal （CSVDF）， Frequency Ratio （FR） model， and Certainty Factor （CF） model. The following conclusions were drawn: Results from the direct shear tests and IDW method indicate that the cmtends to decrease from south to north and exhibits a positively skewed spatial distribution pattern. The CSVDF results indicates a similarity between the regional variation of the cmand the development intensity of loess landslides. The FR and CF results reveal that loess landslides are more likely to occur when the cmis between 0 and 16.14 kPa.

Magmatic hydrothermal deposits are important sources of many bulk, precious, and rare metals, and have attracted interest from both academic and industrial communities. However, it is still unclear if the major enrichment of the ore-forming metals occurs in the parental magma source region, during the magma evolution, or after the fluid exsolution. Fluid inclusions trapped in hydrothermal minerals crystallized in the early, high-temperature stage before metal precipitation record information close to that of the initially exsolved magmatic fluids, which are helpful in revealing whether the metals have been already significantly enriched prior to the hydrothermal stage. In this study, available compositional data of such early-stage fluid inclusions from magmatic hydrothermal systems globally have been compiled. The results indicate that the concentrations of Cu,Sn, and W respectively from the Cu-, Sn-, and W-mineralized fluids are significantly higher than the hydrothermal systems that do not produce ores with the corresponding metals. This suggests that Cu, Sn, and W could have already been enriched in the magma source and/or magma evolution stage. The Mo concentrations show no difference between Mo-mineralized and Mobarren fluid systems, indicating no significant pre-enrichment in the source region or during the magma evolution. This also implies that an efficient collection of Mo from a large volume of magmas is required to account for the formation of a large Mo deposit. Almost all the hydrothermal fluids contain high concentrations of Fe and Zn-Pb, but only a few of them eventually form Fe or Zn-Pb deposits, reflecting an important role of the hydrothermal evolution process on the selective metal *** above results indicate that different metals are enriched in different stages of a magmatic hydrothermal system, and that the major roles played in the formation of a deposit vary with the metal types. Data announced by the Chinese Ministry of Land and Resources in 2015 suggest that china has discovered more than 480 manganese ore-producing areas, with manganese ore resource reserves up to 1.22 billion tons, including 0.303 billion tons of basic reserves and 0.915 billion tons amount of resource. Among these reserves, manganese carbonate ores account for 56%, manganese oxide ores （including spongy manganese ores） accounts for 25%, and other types of manganese ore occupy 19%. Rich ores with 〉30% manganese content only account for 5% of the total resource amount, and the remaining 95% are poor manganese ores. Since 1983 when china first began to import, the imported manganese ores have increased annually by 25%. In 2001, the annual imported manganese ores reached 1.71 million tons. From 2010, the annual imported manganese ores increased by greater than 45%, reaching up to 12 million tons in 2015. Thus it seemed that the shortage of manganese ore resources will be a longterm phenomenon for china＇s economic development.
