Manually picking regularly and densely distributed first breaks(FBs)are critical for shallow velocitymodel building in seismic data ***,it is time *** employ the fullyconvolutional Seg Net to address this issue and present a fast automatic seismic waveform classification method to pick densely-sampled FBs directly from common-shot gathers with sparsely distributed *** feeding a large number of representative shot gathers with missing traces and the corresponding binary labels segmented by manually interpreted fully-sampled FBs,we can obtain a welltrained Seg Net *** any unseen gather including the one with irregular trace spacing is inputted,the Seg Net can output the probability distribution of different categories for waveform *** FBs can be picked by locating the boundaries between one class on post-FBs data and the other on pre-FBs *** land datasets with each over 2000 shots are adopted to illustrate that one well-trained 25-layer Seg Net can favorably classify waveform and further pick fully-sampled FBs verified by the manually-derived ones,even when the proportion of randomly missing traces reaches50%,21 traces are missing consecutively,or traces are missing regularly.

Drilling fluids with complicated compositions are becoming more common as the oil and gas industry develops. The production of hazardous cuttings is increasing, which not only stifles the oil and gas industry’s development but also poses a severe environmental threat. Deep underground re-injection is a cost-effective and efficient method for dealing with hazardous cuttings. Numerous experiments and numerical studies on cuttings re-injection have been conducted in the past thirty years. However, there is still a divergence of views on the fracture development in the process of cuttings re-injection. A comprehensive review of existing studies is necessary to help researchers advance this technology. This paper provides a review of the fundamental studies on fracture behaviors during the deep underground re-injection of drilling cuttings. The limitations of the existing studies are also discussed to inspire new research endeavors.

The Southern Irumide Belt(SIB)is an orogenic belt consisting of a number of lithologically varied Mesoproterozoic and Neoproterozoic terranes that were thrust upon each *** belt lies along the southwest margin of the Archaean to Proterozoic Congo Craton,and bears a Neoproterozoic tectonothermal overprint relating to the Neoproterozoic-Cambrian collision between the Congo and Kalahari *** preserves a record of about 500 million years of plate interaction along this part of the Congo *** zircon samples from the SIB were analysed for U-Pb and Lu-Hf isotopes,as well as trace element *** data are used to constrain sediment-source relationships between SIB terranes and other Gondwanan terranes such as the local Congo Craton and Irumide belt and wider afield to Madagascar(Azania)and *** correlations are then used to interpret the Mesoproterozoic to Neoproterozoic affinity of the rocks and evolution of the *** zircon samples from the Chewore-Rufunsa and Kacholola(previously referred to as Luangwa-Nyimba)terranes of the SIB yield zircon U-Pb age populations and evolvedε(Hf)(t)values that are similar to the Muva Supergroup found throughout eastern Zambia,primarily correlating with Ubendian-Usagaran(ca.2.05-1.80 Ga)phase magmatism and a cryptic basement terrane that has been suggested to underlie the Bangweulu Block and Irumide *** data suggest that the SIB was depositionally connected to the Congo Craton throughout the *** more eastern Nyimba-Sinda terrane of the SIB(previously referred to as Petauke-Sinda terrane)records detrital zircon ages andε(Hf)(t)values that correlate with ca.1.1-1.0 Ga magmatism exposed elsewhere in the SIB and Irumide *** ascribe this difference in age populations to the polyphase development of the province,where the sedimentary and volcanic rocks of the Nyimba-Sinda terrane accumulated in extensional basins that developed in the *** deposition wou

Reverse Time Migration(RTM)Surface Ofset Gathers(SOGs)are demonstrated to deliver more superior residual dip information than ray-based *** appears more powerful in complex geological settings,such as salt ***,the computational cost of constructing RTM SOGs is a big challenge in applying it to 3D feld *** tackle this challenge,we propose a novel method using dips of local events as a guide for RTM gather *** residual-dip information of the SOGs is created by connecting local events from depth-domain to time-domain via ray *** proposed method is validated by a synthetic experiment and a feld *** mitigates the computational cost by an order of magnitude while producing comparable results as fully computed RTM SOGs.

Inversion of seawater physical parameters (temperature, salinity and density) from seismic data is an important part of Seismic Oceanography, which was raised recent years to study physical oceanography. However present methods have problems that inversion accuracy is not high or inverted parameters are incomprehensive. To overcome these problems, this paper derives Allied Elastic Impedance (AEI), from which we can extract acoustic velocity and density of seawater directly. Furthermore this paper proposes a method to fit temperature and salinity with acoustic velocity and density respectively, breaking through the limitation that temperature and salinity can only be extracted from acoustic velocity. After applying it to model and real data, we find that this method not only solves the problem that ocean density is hard to extract, but also increases accuracy of other parameters, with the temperature and salinity resolution of 0.06°C and 0.02 psu respectively. All results show that AEI is promising in inversion of seawater physical parameters.

由于地表地形和地下构造的复杂性,山前带地震成像一直是地球物理勘探的难题,其中的难点之一是速度建模。为了改进山前带的地震成像,提出了一个以联合层析速度建模为关键技术的处理流程,包括:(1)利用复数域小波变换(CWT)的抗假频和高保真优点,在压制噪声的同时保护有效信号,尤其是低频信号;(2)拾取全炮检距初至,采用回转波层析反演得到可靠的浅层速度模型;(3)优化初始速度模型,通过浅、中、深联合层析速度反演和井约束建立全层速度模型;(4)通过基于真地表的TTI各向异性叠前深度偏移进行高陡构造成像,刻画复杂断块。将该方法应用于准噶尔盆地南缘山前带米泉三维实际资料的处理,结果表明:线性和含假频噪声得到了有效压制,低频信号得到保留;偏移剖面整体上归位更加合理,同相轴连续性明显提高,井震吻合度较高,地质目标的构造形态和断裂展布规律更加清晰,更有利于后续解释。该方法的成功应用不仅为准噶尔盆地山前带地震成像带来了希望,而且可以推广到世界上其他地区的山前带地震成像中。

逆时偏移生成的角度域共成像点道集(ADCIGs)有利于提高成像质量,可用于偏移速度分析和AVA/AVO研究等。使用Poynting矢量估计波传播方向可以快速生成角道集,但当模型和波场比较复杂时,不同方向传播的波场分量相互重叠,无法准确计算波的传播方向。波场分解可以提高Poynting矢量的准确性。为此,研究了波场分解算法,在计算Poynting矢量之前先将波场分解成不同方向传播的分量,用于生成角道集。为解决传统的傅里叶变换在频率-波数域进行波场分解时计算量大的问题,对波场分解算法进行了优化,并提出了SSE(单指令多数据流扩展)向量化和多线程并行计算实现算法,从而提高了计算效率。理论和数值计算结果表明:使用波场分解可以显著提高逆时偏移角道集的质量,此优化算法能够得到与传统方法一致的结果并且提高了计算效率。二维Sigsbee2A模型和三维SEAM TTI模型的数值计算也证明了该算法用于生成高质量角道集和逆时偏移图像的有效性和稳定性。优化后的波场分解算法并不局限于上、下行波分解,可容易地拓展到其它方向的波场分解,也可应用于最小二乘偏移和全波形反演,以消除成像噪声,提高成像质量。
