The coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic is a threat worldwide for individuals of all ages,including *** manifestations could be the initial presenting manifestation in many patients,especially in *** symptoms are more common in patients with severe disease than in patients with non-severe *** 48.1%of patients had a stool sample that was positive for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)viral *** typically form 1%-8%of all laboratoryconfirmed cases of *** manifestations of COVID-19 in children are not rare,with a prevalence between 0 and 88%,and a wide variety of presentations,including diarrhoea,vomiting,and abdominal pain,can develop before,with or after the development of respiratory *** manifestations such as appendicitis or liver injury could also appear,especially in the presence of multisystem inflammatory *** this review,we discussed the epidemiology of COVID-19 gastrointestinal diseases in children as well as their implications on the diagnosis,misdiagnosis,prognosis,and faecal-oral transmission route of COVID-19 and the impact of gastrointestinal diseases on the gut microbiome,child nutrition,and disease management.

Only 1% - 12% of patients with lung cancer develop cutaneous metastases. While adenocarcinoma is incredibly common, it is rare for a cutaneous manifestation of the disease to be the initial presenting complaint. Skin manifestations can be difficult to identify and can appear to be deceptively benign, leading to delays in diagnosis and treatment. ALK+ lung cancer specifically has an increased frequency of distant lymph node involvement and lymphangitic carcinomatosis relative to typical EGFR+ lung cancer. Herein we report a case of ALK-rearranged lung adenocarcinoma that initially presented as cutaneous skin metastases to the neck. Such skin lesions should be identified early, and considered as a potential manifestation of an internal malignancy. Given the poor prognosis associated with cutaneous metastases, further diagnostic tests, such as imaging or biopsy, should be done with urgency.

Nanoparticles armed with chemotherapy drug and fluorescence probe have become an effective anticancer strategy for their advantages in cancer diagnosis and ***,fluorophore for diagnostic medicine with deep penetration depth and high resolution are still very rare,while rational designs are also required to improve the tumor retention and target-site drug ***,a two-photon fluorophore with aggregation-induced emission and large two-photon absorption cross-section has been designed for two-photon bioimaging,and a novel theranostic nanoplatform is also constructed based on doxorubicin and the two-photon fluorophore conjugated copolymer,P(TPMA-co-AEMA)-PEI(DA)-Blink-PEG (PAEEBlink-DA).The micelles maintain a “stealth” property during blood circulation and is activated in the acidic tumor microenvironment,which triggers the charge-conversion and results in enhanced micellar ***,PAEMA chains can convert from hydrophobicity to hydrophilicity with accelerated drug release and particle size *** enlarged particle size would potentially extend the retention time of these ***,a great AIE active two-photon bioimaging with tissue penetration depth up to 150 μm is observed and the in vivo biodistribution of nanoparticles can be *** in vivo antitumor results further indicate the obvious reduction of adverse effect and enhanced treatment effect of these micelles,proving that these PAEEBlink-DA micelles would be a potential candidate for tumor theranostic applications.

Composite coatings made of nano-Y_2O_3/cobalt-based alloy and produced by crosscurrent CO_2 laser on Ni-based superalloy are introduced. Cross-section or surface of the coatings was examined to reveal their microstructure using optical microscope, SEM, including EDS microanalysis, TEM and XRD. The results show that some equilibrium or non-equilibrium phases, such as γ-Co, Cr_(23)C_6, Y_2O_3 and ε-Co exist in the coatings. Fine and short dendritic microstructure and columnar to equiaxed transition (CET) occurred by adding nano-Y_2O_3 particles. With the increasing amount of nano-Y_2O_3 (1%, mass fraction), fully equiaxed crystallization appeared. These are caused by nano-Y_2O_3 particles acting as new nucleation site and rapid solidification of the melt. The results also show that inhomogeneous dispersion of nano-Y_2O_3 results in the formation of ε-Co phase in the coatings. The sub-microstructure of the clad is stacking fault. The mechanism of the formation of equiaxed grains is also analyzed.

AIM： Gastrointestinal stromal tumors （GISTs） are rare. GISTs differ from other mesenchymal tumors of the gastrointestinal tract （e.g. leiornyomas and schwannomas）. The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of Ets-1 in the growth and differentiation of GISTs. METHODS： Twenty-eight GISTs, nine leiomyomas and six schwannomas were examined by immunohistochemical staining method for Ets-1 in this study. Specimens were selected from surgical pathology archival tissues at Nagasaki University Hospital. RESULTS： Ets-1 protein was expressed in the cytoplasm of cells in all of these tumors. Immunohistochemical staining revealed that 27 GISTs （96.4%）, six leiomyomas （66.7%）, and five schwannomas （83.3%） were positive for Ets-1. Ets-1 expression was statistically different between GISTs and leiomyomas （P〈0.005）. However, there was no correlation between Ets-1 expression and clinical risk categories. CONCLUSION： Ets-1 plays an important role in the growth and differentiation of GISTs, leiomyomas and schwannomas.

Biomass-derived carbon materials(B-d-CMs)are considered as a group of very promising electrode materials for electrochemical energy storage(EES)by virtue of their naturally diverse and intricate microarchitectures,extensive and low-cost source,environmental friendliness,and feasibility to be produced in a large ***,the practical application of raw B-d-CMs in EES is limited by their relatively rare storage sites and low diffusion *** recent years,various strategies from structural design to material composite manipulation have been explored to overcome these *** this review,a controllable design of B-d-CM structures boosting their storage sites and diffusion kinetics for EES devices including SIBs,Li-S batteries,and supercapacitors is systematically summarized from the aspects of effects of pseudographic structure,hierarchical pore structure,surface functional groups,and heteroatom doping of B-d-CMs,as well as the composite structure of B-d-CMs,aiming to provide guidance for further rational design of the B-d-CMs for high-performance EES ***,the contemporary challenges and perspectives on B-d-CMs and their composites are also proposed for further practical application of B-d-CMs for EES devices.

Vanishing bile duct syndrome(VBDS) is a group of rare disorders characterized by ductopenia,the progressive destruction and disappearance of intrahepatic bile ducts leading to *** in association with medications,autoimmune disorders,cancer,transplantation,and infections,the specific mechanisms of disease are not *** date,only 4 cases of VBDS have been reported in human immunodeficiency virus(HIV) infected *** report 2 additional cases of HIV-associated VBDS and review the features common to the HIV-associated *** includes hyperbilirubinemia,normal liver imaging,and negative viral and autoimmune hepatitis *** HIV-infected subjects,VBDS occurred at a range of CD4+ T-cell counts,in some cases following initiation or change in antiretroviral *** was associated with two cases;nevirapine,antibiotics,and viral co-infection were suggested as etiologies in the other *** HIV-positive patients with progressive cholestasis,early identification of VBDS and referral for transplantation may improve outcomes.
