In this paper,we undertake further investigation to alleviate the issue of limit cycling behavior in training generative adversarial networks(GANs)through the proposed predictive centripetal acceleration algorithm(PCAA).Specifically,we first derive the upper and lower complexity bounds of PCAA for a general bilinear game,with the last-iterate convergence rate notably improving upon previous ***,we combine PCAA with the adaptive moment estimation algorithm(Adam)to propose PCAA-Adam,for practical training of GANs to enhance their generalization ***,we validate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm through experiments conducted on bilinear games,multivariate Gaussian distributions,and the CelebA dataset,respectively.

BACKGROUND Depression is strongly associated with colorectal cancer(CRC).Few bibliometric analyses have systematically summarized the research focus and recent progress in this *** To determine the research status and hotspots by bibliometric analysis of relevant publications on the relationship between CRC and *** Articles on depression in CRC patients were collected from the Web of Science Core *** and VOSviewer software were used to visualize bibliometric *** From 2001 to 2022,Supportive Care in Cancer,the United States,Tilburg University,and Mols were the most productive and influential journal,country,institution,and author ***-occurrence cluster analysis of keywords placed quality of life,anxiety,and psychological stress in the center of the visual network *** clustering was performed for the clusters with studies of the relevant mechanism of action,which showed that:(1)Cytokines have a role essential for the occurrence and development of depressive disorders in CRC;(2)MicroRNAs have a role essential for the development of depressive disorders in CRC;(3)Some anticancer drugs have pro-depressant activity;and(4)Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors have both antitumor and antidepressant *** Life quality and psychological nursing of the cancer population were key *** roles of cytokines and microRNAs,the pro-depression activity of anticancer drugs and their antitumor properties deserve in-depth study.

Strangeon stars,which are proposed to describe the nature of pulsar-like compact stars,have passed various observational *** maximum mass of a non-rotating strangeon star could be high,which implies that the remnants of binary strangeon star mergers could even be long-lived massive strangeon *** study rigidly rotating strangeon stars in the slowly rotating approximation,using the Lennard-Jones model for the equation of *** can significantly increase the maximum mass of strangeon stars with unchanged baryon numbers,enlarging the mass-range of long-lived strangeon *** spin-down after merger,the decrease of radius of the remnant will lead to the release of gravitational *** into account the efficiency of converting the gravitational energy luminosity to the observed X-ray luminosity,we find that the gravitational energy could provide an alternative energy source for the plateau emission of X-ray *** fitting results of X-ray plateau emission of some short gamma-ray bursts suggest that the magnetic dipole field strength of the remnants can be much smaller than that of expected when the plateau emission is powered only by spin-down luminosity of magnetars.

Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis(IPF)is a chronic and fatal lung disease characterized by pulmonary inflam-mation,oxidative stress,and excessive extracellular matrix(ECM)*** anti-fibrotic drugs for IPF treatment in the clinic lack selectivity and demonstrate unsatisfactory efficacy,highlighting the urgent necessity for a novel therapeutic ***(TA),which has biological activities against lung injury induced by various factors,is a potential anti-IPF drug due to its anti-inflammatory,antiox-idant and lung-protective ***,the protective effect of TA on IPF has not been confirmed,and its clinical application is limited due to its poor aqueous *** this study,we demonstrated that TA could inhibit epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)and migration of A549 cells by inhibiting the transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1)/Smad signaling *** improve the aqueous solubility and pulmonary administration performance of TA,we prepared TA loaded methoxy poly(ethylene glycol)-poly(d,l-lactide)(mPEG-PLA)/d-α-tocopheryl polyethylene glycol succinate(TPGS)mixed polymeric mi-celles(TA-PM).Then a MicroSprayer^(R) Aerosolizer was used to deliver TA-PM once every two days for three weeks to evaluate their therapeutic effects on bleomycin(BLM)-induced IPF *** results demonstrated that inhaled TA-PM significantly inhibited BLM-induced inflammation,oxidative stress and fibrosis in lung ***,TA-PM exhibited high pulmonary deposition and retention by pul-monary administration,along with a favorable safety ***,this study emphasizes the potential of inhaled TA-PM as a promising treatment for IPF,providing a new opportunity for their clinical appli-cation.

The protein kinase B(Akt)pathway can regulate the growth,proliferation,and metabolism of tumor cells and stem cells through the activation of multiple downstream target genes,thus affecting the development and treatment of a range of *** superfamily member 4(THEM4),a member of the thioesterase superfamily,is one of the Akt kinase-binding *** studies on the mechanism of cancers and other diseases have shown that THEM4 binds to Akt to regulate its ***,THEM4 was considered an endogenous inhibitor of Akt,which can inhibit the phosphorylation of Akt in diseases such as lung cancer,pancreatic cancer,and liver cancer,but subsequently,THEM4 was shown to promote the proliferation of tumor cells by positively regulating Akt activity in breast cancer and nasopharyngeal carcinoma,which contradicts previous *** these two distinct views,this review summarizes the important roles of THEM4 in the Akt pathway,focusing on THEM4 as an Akt-binding protein and its regulatory relationship with Akt phosphorylation in various diseases,especially *** work provides a better understanding of the roles of THEM4 combined with Akt in the treatment of diseases.

Antimicrobial resistance characteristics and phylogenetic relationships of pleuromutilin-resistant Enterococcus isolates from different environmental samples along a laying hen production chain

Antimicrobial resistance in the laying hen production industry has become a serious public health *** antimicrobial resistance and phylogenetic relationships of the common conditional pathogen Enterococcus along the laying hen production chain have not been systematically clarified.105 Enterococcus isolates were obtained from 115 environmental samples (air,dust,feces,fies,sewage,and soil) collected along the laying hen production chain (breeding chicken,chick,young chicken,and commercial laying hen).These Enterococcus isolates exhibited resistance to some clinically relevant antibiotics,such as tetracycline (92.4%),streptomycin (92.4%),and erythromycin (91.4%),and all strains had multidrug resistance *** genome sequencing characterized 29 acquired antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) that conferred resistance to 11 classes of antibiotics in 51pleuromutilin-resistant Enterococcus isolates,and lsa(E),which mediates resistance to pleuromutilins,always co-occurred with lnu(B).Alignments with the Mobile Genetic Elements database identified four transposons (Tn554,Tn558,Tn6261,and Tn6674) with several ARGs(erm(A),ant(9)-la,fex(A),and optrA) that mediated resistance to many clinically important ***,we identified two new transposons that carried ARGs in the Tn554 family designated as Tn7508 and Tn7492.A complementary approach based on conventional multi-locus sequence typing and whole genome single nucleotide polymorphism analysis showed that phylogenetically related pleuromutilin-resistant Enterococcus isolates were widely distributed in various environments on different production *** results indicate that environmental contamination by antimicrobial-resistant Enterococcus requires greater attention,and they highlight the risk of pleuromutilin-resistant Enterococcus and ARGs disseminating along the laying hen production chain,thereby warranting effective disinfection.

Achieving a straightforward design of tough,printable,and adaptable polymeric eutectogels is still challenging in related fields due to the uncontrollable polymerization and solvent-exchanging processes,and inherent contrasting multiple ***,we report a one-step synergistic strategy based on ruthenium chemistry-catalyzed photopolymerization and solvent effect for preparing high-performance *** orthogonal ruthenium photochemistry helps multinetworks formation via phenol-coupling of gelatin and copolymerization of acrylamide(AAm)and[2-(methacryloyloxy)ethyl]trimethylammonium tetrafluoroborate(META)monomers in *** obvious difference in the supramolecular interactions of free AAm monomers and polymerized units in P(AAm-co-META)with deep eutectic solvents(DESs)significantly promotes the microphase-separation behavior in ***,the in situ polymerization and microphase-separation behavior enable the as-prepared eutectogel materials to have excellent mechanical properties(stress of∼1.2 MPa),toughness(∼4.0 MJ m^(−3)),elasticity,adaptivity,and conductivity(∼0.5 S m^(−1)at room temperature).Also,the critical strength of the resultant eutectogels can be modulated by varying the DES *** rapid and well-controlled synergistic approach is compatible with extrusion printing techniques to make flexible sensors with high sensitivities and response times to detect pressure in a range of 0–500 *** a general and simple strategy has application potential in biological,engineering,and material sciences.
