BACKGROUND Cerebral infarction is a local or extensive necrosis of brain ***,the corresponding neurological deficits *** incidence of cerebrovascular diseases in China is increasing *** the onset of cerebrovascular disease,the most common sequelae include movement disorders,language disorders,and cognitive *** To investigate the effect of early refined nursing program on the prognosis of middle-aged and elderly patients with cerebral infarction combined with cognitive *** A retrospective study was conducted to divide 60 patients with cerebral infarction and cognitive impairment into an experimental group(n=32)and a control group(n=28).The experimental group received early intensive care every day,and the control group received daily routine *** scores of the Mini-Mental State Examination(MMSE)and the Trail Making Test(TMT),as well as the latency and amplitude of the event-related potential P300,were used as main indicators to evaluate changes in cognitive function,and changes in BDNF,TGF-β,and GDNF expression were used as secondary *** Both groups experienced notable enhancements in MMSE scores,with the experi-mental group demonstrating higher scores than the control group(experimental:28.75±2.31;control:25.84±2.87).Moreover,reductions in TMT-A and TMT-B scores were observed in both groups(experimental:TMT-A 52.36±6.18,TMT-B 98.47±10.23;control:TMT-A 61.48±7.92,TMT-B 112.63±12.55),with the experimental group displaying lower scores.P300 Latency decreased(experimental:270.63 ms±14.28 ms;control:285.72 ms±16.45 ms),while amplitude increased(experimental:7.82μV±1.05μV;control:6.35μV±0.98μV)significantly in both groups,with superior outcomes in the experimental ***,the levels of the growth factors BDNF,TGF-β1,and GDNF surged(experimental:BDNF 48.37 ng/mL±5.62 ng/mL,TGF-β152.14 pg/mL±4.28 pg/mL,GDNF 34.76 ng/mL±3.89 ng/mL;control:BDNF 42.58 ng/mL±4.73 ng/mL,TGF-β146.23 pg/m

Predictive value of intracranial high-density areas in neurological function

BACKGROUND Intracranial high-density areas(HDAs)have attracted considerable attention for predicting clinical outcomes;however,whether HDAs predict worse neurological function and mental health remains controversial and unclear,which requires further *** this prospective study,96 patients with acute ischemic stroke(AIS)who accepted endovascular mechanical thrombectomy(EMT)were *** enrolled patients underwent cranial computed tomography(CT)examination within 24 hours after *** data in terms of National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS),the 3-month modified Rankin Scale(mRS),self-rating depression scale(SDS),and self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)scores were collected and compared between patients with HDAs and non-HDAs and between patients with good and poor clinical *** to patients without HDAs,patients with HDAs presented severe neurological deficits(admission NIHSS score:18±3 vs 19±4),were more likely to have post-stroke disabilities(mRS<3:35%vs 62%),and suffered more severe depression(SDS score:58±16 vs 64±13)and anxiety disorder(SAS score:52±8 vs 59±10).Compared to patients with a good prognosis,patients with a poor prognosis presented severe neurological deficits(admission NIHSS score:17±4 vs 20±3),were more likely to have HDAs on CT images(64%vs 33%),and suffered more severe depression(SDS score:55±19 vs 65±11)and anxiety(SAS score:50±8 vs 58±12).Multivariate analysis revealed that HDAs were independent nega-tive prognostic *** In conclusion,HDAs on CT images predicted poor prognosis and severe depressive and anxiety symptoms in patients with AIS who underwent EMT.

Effects of hormone replacement therapy on mood and sleep quality in menopausal women

BACKGROUND Hormone replacement therapy is an effective treatment strategy for the management of symptoms in naturally menopausal ***,some patients report experiencing adverse *** To analyze the effects of hormone replacement therapy in menopausal female *** A total of 152 menopausal female patients admitted to the Gynecology Department of the ganzhou Maternal and Child Health Hospital between January 2021 and December 2023 were divided into the observation group(n=76,conventional treatment+hormone replacement therapy)and the control group(n=76,conventional treatment only)via random *** improvement observed in the following items were compared between the groups:Kupperman menopausal index(KMI),emotional state[The Positive and Negative Affect Scale(PANAS)],sleep quality[Self-Rating Scale of Sleep(SRSS)],treatment effectiveness,and treatment *** The modified KMI and SRSS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group after three rounds of *** improvement in the PANAS score observed in the observation group was greater than that observed in the control group(P<0.05).The total treatment effectivity rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(86.84%vs 96.05%,χ2=4.121,P=0.042).The incidence rate of adverse reactions in the two groups was comparable(6.58%vs 9.21%,χ2=0.361,P=0.547).CONCLUSION Hormone replacement therapy effectively improved the clinical symptoms,actively channeled negative emotions,and improved the quality of sleep in menopausal patients,indicating its effectiveness and safety.

BACKGROUND The efficacy of mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)in treating liver fibrosis has been demonstrated in several clinical ***,their low survival and liver implantation rates remain *** recent years,a large number of studies in animal models of liver fibrosis have shown that MSCs combined with drugs can improve the efficacy of MSCs in the treatment of liver fibrosis alone and inhibit its progression to end-stage liver *** has inspired new ways of thinking about treating liver *** To investigate the effectiveness and mechanisms of MSCs combined with drugs in treating liver *** Data sources included four electronic databases and were constructed until January *** subjects,interventions,comparators,outcomes,and study design principle were used to screen the literature,and the quality of the literature was evaluated to assess the risk of *** randomised controlled trials were selected,and the final 13 studies were included in the final *** A total of 13 studies were included after *** analysis showed that MSCs combined with drug therapy significantly improved liver function,promoted the repair of damaged liver tissues,reduced the level of liver fibrosis-related indexes,and effectively ameliorated hepatic fibrosis by modulating the hepatic inflammatory microenvironment,promoting the homing of MSCs,and regulating the relevant signaling pathways,and the treatment efficacy was superior to MSCs ***,the combined treatment statistics showed no amelioration in serum albumin levels(standardized mean difference=0.77,95%confidence interval:-0.13 to 1.68,P=0.09).CONCLUSION In conclusion,MSCs combined with drugs for treating liver fibrosis effectively make up for the shortcomings of MSCs in their therapeutic ***,due to the different drugs,the treatment mechanism and effect also ***,more randomized controlled trials are needed to compare the therapeutic effic

Frequency-tunable single-photon router based on a microresonator containing a driven three-level emitter

We propose a frequency-tunable router of single photons with high routing efficiency, which is constructed by two waveguides mediately linked by a single-mode whispering gallery resonator with a driven three-level emitter. Quantum routing probability in the output port is obtained via the real-space Hamiltonian. By adjusting the resonator–emitter coupling and the drive, the desired continuous central frequencies for the resonance peaks of routing photons can be manipulated nearly linearly, with the assistance of Rabi splitting effect and optical Stark shift. The proposed routing system may provide potential applications in designing other frequency-modulation quantum optical devices, such as multiplexers,filters, and so on.

We investigate the non-Hermitian effects on quantum diffusion in a kicked rotor model where the complex kicking potential is quasi-periodically modulated in the time *** synthetic space with arbitrary dimension can be created by incorporating incommensurate frequencies in the quasi-periodical *** the Hermitian case,strong kicking induces the chaotic diffusion in the four-dimension momentum space characterized by linear growth of mean *** find that the quantum coherence in deep non-Hermitian regime can effectively suppress the chaotic diffusion and hence result in the emergence of dynamical ***,the extent of dynamical localization is dramatically enhanced by increasing the non-Hermitian ***,the quasi-energies become complex when the non-Hermitian parameter exceeds a certain threshold *** quantum state will finally evolve to a quasi-eigenstate for which the imaginary part of its quasi-energy is large *** exponential localization length decreases with the increase of the non-Hermitian parameter,unveiling the underlying mechanism of the enhancement of the dynamical localization by nonHermiticity.

Delineation of urban growth boundary based on FLUS model under the perspective of land use evaluation in hilly mountainous areas

With rapid economic development,the size of urban land in China is expanding *** Urban Growth Boundary(UGB)is an expandable spatial boundary for urban construction in a certain period in order to control the urban *** delineation of UGB can inhibit the disorderly spread of urban space and guide the normal development of the *** is of practical significance for the construction of green urban *** study utilizes GIS technology to establish a land construction suitability evaluation system for Nankang city,which is experiencing rapid urban expansion,and outlines the preliminary UGB under the future land use simulation(FLUS)*** the same time,considering the coupled coordination of"Production-Living-Ecological Space",and based on the suitability evaluation,we revised the preliminary UGB by combining the advantages of the patch-generating land use simulation(PLUS)model and the convex hull model to delineate the final *** results show that:1)the comprehensive score of the evaluation of the suitability of the construction of land from high to low shows the distribution of the center of the city to the surrounding circle type spread,the center of the city has the highest suitability *** results of convex hull model show that the urban expansion type of Nankang is *** the future,the urban expansion will mainly occur in the northern part of the *** PLUS model predicts an increase of 3359.97 hm^(2)of construction land in Nankang by 2035,of which 2022.97 hm^(2)is urban construction land.2)The FLUS model has a prediction accuracy of 86.3%and delineates a preliminary UGB area of 9215.07 hm^(2).3)We used the results of the construction suitability evaluation,PLUS model simulation results,and convex hull model predictions to revise the originally delineated *** final delineated UGB area is 8895.67 hm^(2)and it is capable of meeting the future development of the study *** results of the delineation can promote
