Carbon dioxide(co.(2))emissions from the cement industry acco.nt for 26%of the total industrial emissions,and the need to develop low-carbon techniques within the cement industry is extremely ***-carbon projects and technologies for the cement industry in different regions and co.ntries have been thoroughly reviewed in this manuscript,and the low-carbon development co.cept for each co.nty has been *** developing co.ntries such as China and India,energy saving and efficiency enhancement are currently the key points,while for developed co.ntries and regions such as Europe,more efforts have been focused on carbon capture,utilization,and storage(CCUS).Global CCUS projects have been previously co.ducted,and the majority of CCUS projects are currently performed in Europe where major projects such as the CEMCAP,CLEANKER,and IEILAC projects represent the latest research progress in cement production technologies and low-carbon technologies for the global cement *** development of low-carbon cement technologies has changed from focusing on the end point to instead focusing on the source and process through the exploration of hydrogen and solar energies,and more disruptive and original technologies are expected to be developed,particularly in the cement industry in China.

The Li-and Mn-rich layered oxides(R-LNCM)are co.sidered as promising cathode materials for high-energy density lithium-ion batteries(LIBs).However,the interface side reaction aggravates the voltage and capacity fading between cathode material and electrolyte at high voltage,which severely hinders the practical application of LIB ***,lithium polyacrylate(LiPAA)as the binder and co.ting agent is applied to suppress the voltage and capacity fading of R-LNCM *** flexible LiPAA layers with high elasticity are capable of impeding cathode cracks on the particle surface via mechanical stress ***,superior voltage and capacity fading suppression on R-LNCM electrode is finally *** a result,LiPAA-R-LNCM cathode exhibits a remarkable specific capacity of 186 mA·h·g^(-1)with~73%retention at 1℃after ***,the co.responding average discharge potential is maintained to~3.1 V with only~0.4 V falling.

The screw air-source heat pump can cause incessant high noise levels during operation,which might hinder adoption of this energy-efficient heat ***,aco.stic measurements and co.parison testing were performed in this *** measurements revealed that the co.pressor is the main noise source of the heat pump,and it shows a multipeak frequency distribution and a wide frequency spectrum under different work co.ditions,with multiple peaks at 63,250,and 1000 ***,a co.pressor sound insulation co.er with broadband absorption was proposed,and it was experimentally proven that the insulation co.er can reduce the maximum sound pressure level of one unit from 89.8 dBA to 79.1 ***,we proposed several noise reduction strategies and co.pared their noise reduction effects using co.puter *** results showed that the noise problem can be effectively improved through the rational design of the sound barrier and the layout and opening options of heat *** distance between the sound barrier and heat pump and the sound attenuation due to diffraction ALa exhibit a U-shaped *** buildings of different heights,the optimal heights of noise barrier are *** 5.5-meter is the optimal height of the sound barrier for single-story *** co.clusions can be applied to other building projects for heat pump noise reduction.

This work presents a generic strategy to create a series of metal mercaptides co.plexes via co.rdination selfassembly between transition metals(Mn,Cu,co.Fe,and Ni)and cysteine(Cys)by forming the sulfur-metal *** strategy involves dissolving metal chlorides and Cys into deep eutectic solvents(DES),followed by the precipitation of metal mercaptides co.plexes(such as Cys-Mn)by adding water as an antisolvent,where DES serves as the solvent,shape directing,and capping agent,thereby preventing the formation of other metal ***,the prepared co.plexes possess both laccase and peroxidase-like properties,allowing the design of a technique for the detection of L-3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine(L-DOPA)and uric acid,*** prepared Cys-Mn can linearly oxidize L-DOPA with its co.centrations from 0.1 to 130μM and the detection limit was calculated to be 75.5 n ***,the Cys-Mn can mimic the activity of peroxidase towards oxidization of o-phenylenediamine at neutral p H,allowing single-step and one-pot cascade reactions for visual and fluorometric measurements of uric acid(UA)that co.ld work in the range of 0.2-500μM UA with a detection limit of 0.06μM and 0.054μМ,*** assay was successful in detecting UA in serum and urine samples with relative standard deviation(RSD)ranging from 7.3%to 10.2%and 3.0%-8.5%respectively,suggesting that it may prove useful in medical diagnostic testing.

Underground pumped storage power plant(UPSP)is an innovative co.cept for space recycling of abandoned *** realization requires better understanding of the dynamic performance and durability of reservoir *** paper co.ducted ultrasonic detection,split Hopkinson pressure bar(SHPB)impact,mercury intrusion porosimetry(MIP),and backscatter electron observation(BSE)tests to investigate the dynamical behaviour and microstructure of sandstone with cyclical dry-wet damage.A co.pling FEM-DEM model was co.structed for reappearing mesosco.ic structure *** results show that dry-wet cycles decrease the dynamic co.pressive strength(DCS)with a maximum reduction of 39.40%,the elastic limit strength is reduced from 41.75 to 25.62 *** sieved fragments obtain the highest crack growth rate during the 23rd dry-wet cycle with a predictable life of 25 cycles for each rock *** pore fractal features of the macropores and micro-meso pores show great differences between the early and late cycles,which verifies the co.putational statistics analysis of particle *** numerical results show that the failure patterns are governed by the strain in pre-peak stage and the shear cracks are *** dry-wet cycles reduce the energy transfer efficiency and lead to the discretization of force chain and crack fields.

With the increasing inco.e of the rural population in Northwest China,people’s sense of happiness and gain is also ***,the improvement of housing co.ditions is lagging behind the increasing inco.e *** recent years,the government and owners have paid much attention to this *** local government has successively issued relevant guidelines and policies to enco.rage owners to reco.struct their houses and improve their housing *** improving housing co.ditions,the existing housing problems must be *** order to have a co.prehensive and in-depth understanding of the problems of rural residential buildings in Northwest China and to propose co.responding solutions,90 representative rural residential buildings of three provinces in Northwest China have been selected for investigation,and mass data have been *** analyzing these data,it has been found that there are problems in five aspects of rural residential buildings in Northwest China:architectural style and functional space layout,energy utilization and dissipation,design,co.struction,as well as structural safety and seismic *** solutions are proposed to address these problems,which can also provide a reference for the government and enterprises engaged in the architecture,engineering,and co.struction(AEC)industry in rural areas.
