Background:Soil-transmitted helminth(STH)infections often affect the poorest and most deprived *** order to generate reliable data for planning a school based deworming program,we conducted a survey among primary school children studying in government schools in the Indian state of Uttar *** objectives of our survey were to estimate the prevalence and intensity of STH ***:We conducted a cross-sectional survey among children studying in 130 primary schools from 9 agroclimatic zones,during May-August *** about socio-demographic details,defecation and handhygiene practices,and stool samples were collected from the school *** samples were examined using the Kato-Katz ***:Stool samples from 6421 school children were *** overall weighted prevalence of any STH in the State was 75.6%(95%CI:71.2-79.5).The prevalence was more than 50%in six of the nine agro-climatic *** was the most prevalent STH(prevalence:69.6%),followed by hookworm(prevalence:22.6%)and ***(4.6%).The majority of the STH infections were of low *** practice of open defecation and not washing hands with soap after defecation and residence in kutcha house were significant risk factors of STH ***:STH prevalence among primary school children in Uttar Pradesh was *** the WHO guidelines on deworming frequency according to STH prevalence,Govt of Uttar Pradesh needs to implement a school-based deworming program with bi-annual *** findings of our survey would also help monitor the performance of school based deworming programme.

EXTRACTION OF INTERNAL TIDE FROM CURRENT

In order to extract the internal tidal current from the current data which is not measured from the sea surface to the bottom, a data processing method is developed. It is based on the fact that the internal wave currents above and below the sharp thermocline are inverse in direction. This method is a practical extension to that proposed by Shu (1985) that can be only used to quite ideal current data. The ADCP data collected on the South China Sea is then processed by this method. The internal tidal current is successfully extracted.

Identification of Modal Parameters with Linear Structure under Non-stationary Ambient Excitation

The cross-correlation function of response signal is decomposed into mode functions and residue by EMD method. The identification technique of the modal parameters of single freedom degree is applied to each mode function to obtain natural frequencies damping ratios and mode shapes. The results of identification of the five-degree freedom linear system demonstrate that the proposed method is effective in identifying the parameters of linear structures under non-stationary ambient excitation.

Simulation of Multi-Steady States in Low Temperature Gas Discharge

The critical transition conditions of the three discharge modes(temperature limited mode Langmuir mode and space charge limited mode) are estimated to bedependent on the gas pressure and the filament temperature. Various forms of the multi-steadystates in gas discharge can be uniformly explained by the displacement of the mutant positions.The simulation results are in a good agreement with those of the experiments.

Automatic Carrier Landing System with Gust-rejection Capability

The direct-lift control mode is achieved with the symmetric deflection of the flaps and dynamic decoupling for minor disturbance of the angle of attack. This mode changes an aircraft's model from a short-period oscillation model to a non-oscillation one which could evidently increase the gust-rejection capability of the aircraft.

A new direct-lift control carrier landing mode is advanced, and it is proved to be very effective to keep the attitude angle and path angle constant when the aircraft is in the blind area of tracking radar and the guidance system is shut off. Effects of the trimodal random field on the magnetic properties of a spin-1 Ising nanotube

In this work, the hysteresis behavior of a nanotube, consisting of a ferromagnetic core of spin-1 atoms surrounded by a ferromagnetic shell of spin-1 atoms with ferro-or anti-ferromagnetic interracial coupling is studied in the presence of a random magnetic field. Based on a probability distribution method, the effective-field theory has been used to investigate the effects of the random magnetic field, the interfacial coupling constant, and the temperature on the hysteresis loops of the nanotube. Some characteristic behaviors have been found, such as the existence of double or triple hysteresis loops for appropriate values of the system parameters. The remanent magnetization and the coercive field, as functions of the temperature, are examined.
