FlowgANAnomaly: Flow-Based Anomaly Network Intrusion Detection with Adversarial Learning

In recent years, low recall rates and high dependencies on data labelling have become the biggest obstacle to developing deep anomaly detection(DAD) techniques. Inspired by the success of generative adversarial networks(gANs) in detecting anomalies in computer vision and imaging, we propose an anomaly detection model called Flow gANAnomaly for detecting anomalous traffic in network intrusion detection systems(NIDs). Unlike traditional gAN-based approaches, which are composed of a flow encoder, a convolutional encoder-decoder-encoder, a flow decoder and a convolutional encoder, the architecture of this model consists of a generator(g) and a discriminator(D).Flow gANAnomaly maps the different types of traffic feature data from separate datasets to a uniform feature space,thus can capture the normality of network traffic data more accurately in an adversarial manner to mitigate the problem of the high dependence on data labeling. Moreover, instead of simply detecting the anomalies by the output of D, we proposed a new anomaly scoring method that integrates the deviation between the output of two gs’ convolutional encoders with the output of D as weighted scores to improve the low recall rate of anomaly detection. We conducted several experiments comparing existing machine learning algorithms and existing deep learning methods(Auto Encoder and VAE) on four public datasets(NsL-KDD, CIC-IDs2017, CIC-DDo s2019, and UNsW-NB15). The evaluation results show that Flow gANAnomaly can significantly improve the performance of anomaly-based NIDs.

Floquet spectrum and universal dynamics of a periodically driven two-atom system

We investigate the Floquet spectrum and excitation properties of a two-ultracold-atom system with periodically driven interaction in a three-dimensional harmonic *** interaction between the atoms is changed by varying the s-wave scattering length in two ways,the cosine and the square-wave *** is found that as the driving frequency increases,the Floquet spectrum exhibits two main features for both modulations,the accumulating and the spreading of the quasienergy levels,which further lead to different dynamical *** accumulation is associated with collective excitations and the persistent growth of the energy,while the spread indicates that the energy is bounded at all *** initial scattering length,the driving frequency and amplitude can all significantly change the Floquet spectrum as well as the ***,the corresponding relation between them is valid ***,we propose a mechanism for selectively exciting the system to one specific state by using the avoided crossing of two quasienergy levels,which could guide preparation of a desired state in experiments.

HgaNets:Fusion of Visual Data and skeletal Heatmap for Human gesture Action Recognition

Recognition of human gesture actions is a challenging issue due to the complex patterns in both visual andskeletal features. Existing gesture action recognition (gAR) methods typically analyze visual and skeletal data,failing to meet the demands of various scenarios. Furthermore, multi-modal approaches lack the versatility toefficiently process both uniformand disparate input ***, in this paper, an attention-enhanced pseudo-3Dresidual model is proposed to address the gAR problem, called HgaNets. This model comprises two independentcomponents designed formodeling visual RgB (red, green and blue) images and 3Dskeletal heatmaps, *** specifically, each component consists of two main parts: 1) a multi-dimensional attention module forcapturing important spatial, temporal and feature information in human gestures;2) a spatiotemporal convolutionmodule that utilizes pseudo-3D residual convolution to characterize spatiotemporal features of gestures. Then,the output weights of the two components are fused to generate the recognition results. Finally, we conductedexperiments on four datasets to assess the efficiency of the proposed model. The results show that the accuracy onfour datasets reaches 85.40%, 91.91%, 94.70%, and 95.30%, respectively, as well as the inference time is 0.54 s andthe parameters is 2.74M. These findings highlight that the proposed model outperforms other existing approachesin terms of recognition accuracy.

Variability Analysis for a Two-station Queueing Network in Heavy Traffic with Arrival Processes Driven by Queues

The law of the iterated logarithm(LIL)for the performance measures of a two-station queueing network with arrivals modulated by independent queues is developed by a strong approximation *** convenience,two arrival processes modulated by queues comprise the external system,all others are belong to the internal *** is well known that the exogenous arrival has a great influence on the asymptotic variability of performance measures in *** the considered queueing network in heavy traffic,we get all the LILs for the queue length,workload,busy time,idle time and departure processes,and present them by some simple functions of the primitive *** LILs tell us some interesting insights,such as,the LILs of busy and idle times are zero and they reflect a small variability around their fluid approximations,the LIL of departure has nothing to do with the arrival process,both of the two phenomena well explain the service station’s situation of being busy all the *** external system shows us a distinguishing effect on the performance measures:an underloaded(overloaded,critically loaded)external system affects the internal system through its arrival(departure,arrival and departure together).In addition,we also get the strong approximation of the network as an auxiliary result.

Monocular Distance Estimated Based on PTZ Camera

This paper introduces an intelligent computational approach for extracting salient objects fromimages and estimatingtheir distance information with PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) cameras. PTZ cameras have found wide applications innumerous public places, serving various purposes such as public securitymanagement, natural disastermonitoring,and crisis alarms, particularly with the rapid development of Artificial Intelligence and global infrastructuralprojects. In this paper, we combine gauss optical principles with the PTZ camera’s capabilities of horizontal andpitch rotation, as well as optical zoom, to estimate the distance of the *** present a novel monocular objectdistance estimation model based on the Focal Length-Target Pixel size (FLTPs) relationship, achieving an accuracyrate of over 95% for objects within a 5 km range. The salient object extraction is achieved through a simplifiedconvolution kernel and the utilization of the object’s RgB features, which offer significantly faster computingspeeds compared to Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs). Additionally, we introduce the dark channel beforethe fog removal algorithm, resulting in a 20 dB increase in image definition, which significantly benefits distanceestimation. Our system offers the advantages of stability and low device load, making it an asset for public securityaffairs and providing a reference point for future developments in surveillance hardware.

Design of digital calibration based on variable step size of sub-binary sAR ADC

Energy-efficient reconfigurable processor for QC-LDPC via adaptive coding-voltage-frequency tuning

The rapid growth of mobile applications,the popularity of the Android system and its openness have attracted many hackers and even criminals,who are creating lots of Android ***,the current methods of Android malware detection need a lot of time in the feature engineering ***,these models have the defects of low detection rate,high complexity,and poor practicability,*** analyze the Android malware samples,and the distribution of malware and benign software in application programming interface(API)calls,permissions,and other *** classify the software’s threat levels based on the correlation of ***,we propose deep neural networks and convolutional neural networks with ensemble learning(DCEL),a new classifier fusion model for Android malware ***,DCEL preprocesses the malware data to remove redundant data,and converts the one-dimensional data into a two-dimensional gray ***,the ensemble learning approach is used to combine the deep neural network with the convolutional neural network,and the final classification results are obtained by voting on the prediction of each single *** based on the Drebin and Malgenome datasets show that compared with current state-of-art models,the proposed DCEL has a higher detection rate,higher recall rate,and lower computational cost.
