Linearly constrained separable convex minimization problems have been raised widely in many real-world *** this paper,we propose a homotopy-based alternating direction method of multipliers for solving this kind of *** proposed method owns some advantages of the classical proximal alternating direction method of multipliers and homotopy *** some suitable condi-tions,we prove global convergence and the worst-case O(k/1)convergence rate in a nonergodic *** numerical results indicate effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed method compared with some state-of-the-art methods.

Using 1,1?-bis(isoquinoline)-1,4-phenyldimethylenyl(BIQPM2+) cation as template, a new tetrameric(Bi4 I16)4-iodobismuthate-containing hybrid with formula of(BIQPM)2(Bi4 I16)·H2 O(1), has been prepared under solvothermal conditions. The centrosymmetric Bi4-4 I16 tetraanion is constructed from four edge-shared slightly distorted BiI6 octahedrons. Due to the presence of larger conjugated system(isoquinoline ring), strong π···π stacking interactions can be observed. Besides, strong I···I interactions can be monitored and extends the 0-D Bi4 I4-16 cluster to a quasi-1-D chain. The smaller energy gap of 2.13 eV is led by these non-covalent interactions. Its infrared emission might be caused by strong charge transfer between anions and cations. Furthermore, the reversible thermochromic behavior with low chromotropic temperature of 80 ℃ can be observed, whose mechanism was discussed.

The theory of mutual injection phase-locking applied in two or three fiber lasers is extended in this *** fiber lasers injected mutually by any two lasers are firstly *** the four fiber lasers with the same frequency and coupling coefficient are numerically *** results show that with changing the initial phase difference between lasers,coupling coefficient and the initial amplitude,the locking phase difference between lasers would not maintain the same ***,an array with more than or equal to four fiber lasers injected mutually by any two lasers is not suitable for self-organized coherent combination of fiber lasers.

A simple set searching optimization algorithm is proposed for Er3+-Yb3+ co-doped fiber lasers in this *** method enables fiber lasers to acquire the optimum fiber length and Yb3+-Er3+ concentration ratio for a given *** numerical results illustrate that the optimum Yb3+-Er3+ concentration ratio changes very little,the optimum fiber length shortens and the corresponding output power is increased with erbium ions concentration *** total Yb3+ and Er3+ contents are nearly constant under certain pump power,while the optimum total erbium ions and ytterbium ions are decreased with pump power decreasing.

In this work, the formation sites, helical parameters and hydrogen bond positions of Konjac glucomannan molecular helices were investigated using molecular dynamic simulation method. To our interest, the KGM chain is mainly composed by local left and right helix struetttres. The formation sites of KGM chain might locate at the chain-segments containing acetyl groups, and the left helix is the favorable conformation of KGM. Temperature-dependent molecule conformation study indicates that the right helix is dominant when the temperature is lower than 343 K, above which, however, the left helix is dominating （right helix disappears）. In addition, intramolecular hydrogen bonds in the left helix can be found at the -OH groups on C（2）, C（4） and C（6） of mannose residues; comparably, the intramolecular hydrogen bonds in the right helix can be mainly observed at the -OH groups on C（4） and C（6） of the mannose residues and C（3） of the glucose residues. In conclusion, molecular dynamic simulation is an efficient method for the microscopic conformation study of glucomannan molecular helices.

In the paper, Ablowitz–Ladik hierarchy with new self-consistent sources is investigated. First the source in the hierarchy is described as φnφn+1, where φnis related to the Ablowitz–Ladik spectral problem, instead of the corresponding adjoint spectral problem. Then by means of the inverse scattering transform, the multi-soliton solutions for the hierarchy are obtained. Two reductions to the discrete mKdV and nonlinear Schr¨odinger hierarchies with selfconsistent sources are considered by using the uniqueness of the Jost functions, as well as their N-soliton solutions.

When applying software-Defined Networks(SDN) to WANs,the SDN flexibility enables the cross-domain control to achieve a better control ***,the control consistence is required by all the cross-domain services,to ensure the data plane configured in consensus for different *** consistence process is complicated by potential failure and errors of *** this paper,we propose a consistence layer to actively and passively snapshot the cross-domain control states,to reduce the complexities of service *** implement the layer and evaluate performance in the PlanetLab testbed for the WAN *** testbed conditions are extremely enlarged comparing to the real *** results show its scalability,reliability and responsiveness in dealing with the control *** the normalized results,the active and passive snapshots are executed with the mean times of 1.873 s and 105 ms in135 controllers,indicating its readiness to be used in the real network.

Mobile edge computing(MEC) provides a fresh opportunity to significantly reduce the latency and battery energy consumption of mobile applications. It does so by enabling the offloading of parts of the applications on mobile edges, which are located in close proximity to the mobile devices. Owing to the geographical distribution of mobile edges and the mobility of mobile devices, the runtime environment of MEC is highly complex and dynamic. As a result, it is challenging for application developers to support computation offloading in MEC compared with the traditional approach in mobile cloud computing, where applications use only the cloud for offloading. On the one hand, developers have to make the offloading adaptive to the changing environment, where the offloading should dynamically occur among available computation *** the other hand, developers have to effectively determine the offloading scheme each time the environment changes. To address these challenges, this paper proposes an adaptive framework that supports mobile applications with offloading capabilities in MEC. First, based on our previous study(DPartner), a new design pattern is proposed to enable an application to be dynamically offloaded among mobile devices, mobile edges,and the cloud. Second, an estimation model is designed to automatically determine the offloading *** this model, different parts of the application may be executed on different computation nodes. Finally, an adaptive offloading framework is implemented to support the design pattern and the estimation model. We evaluate our framework on two real-world applications. The results demonstrate that our approach can aid in reducing the response time by 8%–50% and energy consumption by 9%–51% for computation-intensive applications.

Effects of Calcining Temperature and Holding Time on the Synthesis of Aluminum Titanate

We aim in this research at synthesizing high-purity aluminium titanate with sludge from the aluminium profile factory by shock cooling method, and mainly discuss the effect of calcining reaction temperature and holding time on crystalline, microstructure and content of aluminum titanate materials to determine the preferred calcining temperature and holding time. XRD and SEM methods were utilized to characterize the crystalline and microstructure of each specimen, Rietveld Quantification software was used for the determination of different crystalline contents of specimens, and Philips plus software was applied to determine the cell parameters of aluminium titanate in different specimens. According to the experimental results, preferred calcining temperature is determined as 1400℃ and preferred holding time is 2 h, at which the grains of aluminum titanate grow completely and the purity of aluminum titanate is 97.2wt%.
