Efficient and stable photocathodes with versatility are of significance in photoassisted lithium-ion batteries(PLIBs),while there is always a request on fast carrier transport in electrochemical active *** work proposes a general approach of creating bulk heterojunction to boost the carrier mobility of photocathodes by simply laser assisted embedding of plasmonic *** employed in PLIBs,it was found effective for synchronously enhanced photocharge separation and transport in light charging ***,experimental photon spectroscopy,finite difference time domain method simulation and theoretical analyses demonstrate that the improved carrier dynamics are driven by the plasmonic-induced hot electron injection from metal to TiO_(2),as well as the enhanced conductivity in TiO2 matrix due to the formation of oxygen vacancies after Schottky *** from these merits,several benchmark values in performance of TiO2-based photocathode applied in PLIBs are set,including the capacity of 276 mAh g^(−1)at 0.2 A g^(−1)under illumination,photoconversion efficiency of 1.276%at 3 A g^(−1),less capacity and Columbic efficiency loss even through 200 *** results exemplify the potential of the bulk heterojunction strategy in developing highly efficient and stable photoassisted energy storage systems.

Zircon was employed to immobilize simulated tetravalentactinide nuclide（Ce^4＋）. Zr_（1–x）Ce_xSiO_4（0≤x≤0.10） ceramics were synthesized and their chemical durabilities were investigated systematically. The effects of p H and temperature on the chemical durability of the as-prepared compounds were investigated using the MCC-1 static leaching test, and their coupling effects were also explored. It was found that the normalized release rates of Ce in deionized water and alkaline solutions（pH=10） were smaller than those in acid solutions（p H=4）. At a certain p H value, the normalized release rate of Ce（LR Ce） increased with the temperature in the initial period. However, the leaching progress almost reached a balance after 14 days, and both of the p H and the temperature had slight impact on the leaching of Ce element. Moreover, the LR_（Ce） were below 10^（–5）g/m^2/d after 42 days, which was lower than those of other nuclear waste forms in all discussed leachates.

An electrochemical approach for the preparation of Mg-Li-Y alloys via co-reduction of Mg, Li, and Y on a molybdenum electrode in LiCl-KCl-MgCl2-YCl3 melts at 943 K was investigated. Cyclic voltammograms （CVs） illuminated that the underpotential deposition （UPD） of yttrium on pre-deposited magnesium led to the formation of a liquid Mg-Y alloy, and the succeeding underpotential deposition of lithium on pre-deposited Mg-Y led to the formation of a liquid Mg-Li-Y alloy. Chronopotentiometry measurements indicated that the order of electrode reactions was as follows： discharge of Mg（II） to Mg-metal, electroreduction of Y on the surface of Mg with formation of ε-Mg24＋xY5 and after that the discharge of Li＋ with the deposition of Mg-Li-Y alloys. X-ray diffraction （XRD） indicated that Mg-Li-Y alloys with different phases were formed via galvanostatic electrolysis. The microstructure of different phases of Mg-Li-Y alloys was characterized by optical microscope （OM） and scanning electron microscopy （SEM）. The analysis results of inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometer （ICP-AES） showed that the chemical compositions of Mg-Li-Y alloys corresponded with the phase structures of the XRD patterns, and the lithium and yttrium contents of Mg-Li-Y alloys depended on the concentrations of MgCl2 and YCl3 .

An electrochemical approach for the preparation of Mg-Li-Ce alloys by co-reduction of Mg, Li and Ce on a molybdenum electrode in KCl-LiCl-MgCl2-CeCl3 melts at 873 K was investigated. Cyclic voltammograms （CVs） and square wave voltammograms indicated that the underpotential deposition （UPD） of cerium on pre-deposited magnesium led to the formation of Mg-Ce alloys at electrode potentials around –1.87 V. The order of electrode reactions was as follows： discharge of Mg（II） to Mg-metal, UPD of Ce on the surface of pre-deposited Mg with formation of Mg-Ce alloys, discharge of Ce（III） to Ce-metal and after that the discharge of Li＋ with the deposition of Mg-Li-Ce alloys, which was investigated by CVs, chronoamperometry, chronopotentiometry and open circuit chronopotentiometry. X-ray diffraction （XRD） illuminated that Mg-Li-Ce alloys with different phases were obtained via galvanostatic electrolysis by different current densities. The microstructures of Mg-Li-Ce alloys were characterized by optical microscopy （OM） and scanning electron microscopy （SEM）, respectively. The analysis of energy dispersive spectrometry （EDS） showed that Ce existed at grain boundaries to restrain the grain growth. The compositions and the average grain sizes of Mg-Li-Ce alloys could be obtained controllably corresponding with the phase structures of the XRD patterns.

Effect factors of the absorption of the source,air,entrance window,and dead layer of a detector must be considered in the measurement of monoenergetic alpha particles,along with statistical noise and other factors that collectively cause the alpha spectrum to exhibit a well-known low-energy ***,the estabUshment of an alpha spectrum detector response function from the perspective of a signaling system must consider the various factors mentioned *** detector response function is the convolution of an alphaparticle pulse function,two exponential functions,and a Gaussian function,followed by calculation of the parameters of the detector response function using the weighted leastsquares fitting method as proposed in this *** our experiment,^(239)Pu alpha spectra were measured by a highresolution,passivated implanted planar silicon(PIPS)detector at 10 levels of vacuum and 10 source-detector *** spectrum-fitting results were excellent as evaluated by reduced Chi-square(x^2) and correlation ***,the variation of parameters with vacuum level and source-detector distance was *** demonstrate that σ,τ_1,and τ_2 exhibit no obvious trend of variation with vacuum in the range 2000-20,000 mTorr,and at a confidence level of 95%,the values of τ_1 and τ_2 decline in a similar fashion with source-detector distance by the power exponential function,while the value of a declines linearly.

Efficiency is an important factor in quantitative and qualitative analysis of radionuclides, and the gamma point source efficiency is related to the radial angle,detection distance, and gamma-ray energy. In this work, on the basis of a back-propagation(BP) neural network model,a method to determine the gamma point source efficiency is developed and validated. The efficiency of the point sources ^(137)Cs and ^(60)Co at discrete radial angles, detection distances, and gamma-ray energies is measured, and the BP neural network prediction model is constructed using MATLAB. The gamma point source efficiencies at different radial angles, detection distances, and gamma-ray energies are predicted quickly and accurately using this nonlinear prediction model. The results show that the maximum error between the predicted and experimental values is 3.732% at 661.661 keV, 11π/24, and 35 cm, and those under other conditions are less than 3%. The gamma point source efficiencies obtained using the BP neural network model are in good agreement with experimental data.

Inflammation is a driving force of hematopoietic stem cells(HSCs) aging, causing irreversible exhaustion of functional HSCs. However, the underlying mechanism of HSCs erosion by inflammatory insult remains poorly understood. Here, we find that transient LPS exposure primes aged HSCs to undergo accelerated differentiation at the expense of self-renewal, leading to depletion of HSCs. Meanwhile, the central regulator nuclear factor kappa B(NF-κB) mediating functional impairment by inflammation insult induces differential transcriptional response in aged HSCs compared with young HSCs, with precocious activation of myeloid lineage genes. Altered compartmentalization and chromatin loop formation are associated with aging-related differential transcriptional response in HSCs upon lipopolysaccharide(LPS)stimulation. Mechanistically, enhancer and promoter regions of myeloid lineage genes in aged HSCs are more accessible and display more rapid and prominent CTCF occupancy upon LPS stimulation. Our study provides comprehensive resources for the three-dimensional(3D)genome structure of HSCs and sheds light into the ordered genome organization and the associated transcriptome signature underlying HSCs aging.
