Reachability-Based Confidence-Aware Probabilistic Collision Detection in Highway Driving

Risk assessment is a crucial component of collision warning and avoidance systems for intelligent ***-based formal approaches have been developed to ensure driving safety to accurately detect potential vehicle ***,they suffer from over-conservatism,potentially resulting in false–positive risk events in complicated real-world *** this paper,we combine two reachability analysis techniques,a backward reachable set(BRS)and a stochastic forward reachable set(FRS),and propose an integrated probabilistic collision–detection framework for highway *** this framework,we can first use a BRS to formally check whether a two-vehicle interaction is safe;otherwise,a prediction-based stochastic FRS is employed to estimate the collision probability at each future time ***,the framework can not only identify non-risky events with guaranteed safety but also provide accurate collision risk estimation in safety-critical *** construct the stochastic FRS,we develop a neural network-based acceleration model for surrounding vehicles and further incorporate a confidence-aware dynamic belief to improve the prediction *** experiments were conducted to validate the performance of the acceleration prediction model based on naturalistic highway driving *** efficiency and effectiveness of the framework with infused confidence beliefs were tested in both naturalistic and simulated highway *** proposed risk assessment framework is promising for real-world applications.

Modelling,predicting and analysing driver behaviours are essential to advanced driver assistance systems(ADAS)and the comprehensive understanding of complex driving ***,with the development of deep learning(DL),numerous driver behaviour learning(DBL)methods have been proposed and applied in connected vehicles(CV)and intelligent transportation systems(ITS).This study provides a review of DBL,which mainly focuses on typical applications in CV and ***,a comprehensive review of the state-of-the-art DBL is ***,Given the constantly changing nature of real driving scenarios,most existing learning-based models may suffer from the so-called“catastrophic forgetting,”which refers to their inability to perform well in previously learned scenarios after acquiring new *** a solution to the aforementioned issue,this paper presents a framework for continual driver behaviour learning(CDBL)by leveraging continual learning *** proposed CDBL framework is demonstrated to outperform existing methods in behaviour prediction through a case ***,future works,potential challenges and emerging trends in this area are highlighted.

With the development of the Internet,technology,and means of communication,the production of tourist data has multiplied at all levels(hotels,restaurants,transport,heritage,tourist events,activities,etc.),especially with the development of Online Travel Agency(OTA).However,the list of possibilities offered to tourists by these Web search engines(or even specialized tourist sites)can be overwhelming and relevant results are usually drowned in informational"noise",which prevents,or at least slows down the selection *** assist tourists in trip planning and help them to find the information they are looking for,many recommender systems have been *** this article,we present an overview of the various recommendation approaches used in the field of *** this study,an architecture and a conceptual framework for tourism recommender system are proposed,based on a hybrid recommendation *** proposed system goes beyond the recommendation of a list of tourist attractions,tailored to tourist *** can be seen as a trip planner that designs a detailed program,including heterogeneous tourism resources,for a specific visit *** ultimate goal is to develop a recommender system based on big data technologies,artificial intelligence,and operational research to promote tourism in Morocco,specifically in the Daraa-Tafilalet region.

In the paper the Czech toll system and its future are presented. E-toll Czech project： Facts and Figures （today） are included and the next steps in the process of developing microwave infrastructure are mentioned. In the event of possible system extension of the roads of the 1st, 2rid and 3rd class （ca 55,000 km）, the satellite technology will be used. The feasibility of such a combination of these two technologies, microwave and satellite, is subject to the compatibility of both systems in terms of the control equipment. For the microwave toll system, economic analyses according to EU directives were prepared for the Czech Ministry of transport. Special attention is paid to the problems of traffic congestion, noise and damage to the environment, on the basis of the ＂user pays＂ and ＂polluter pays＂ according to the Eurovignette Directive principles. A complete survey of the EU toll system is included in the list of information sources.

This paper presents overview of new features so far prepared for new version of spectral analysis tool SPLAT-VO that allows to retrieve a large amount of spectra(and other data) based on its characteristics by detailed querying a virtual observatory s resources. The overview is focused on enhancements of user experience, work with simple application messaging protocol(SAMP) and other interoperability that improves work with global list of spectra, plot window and analysis menu.

The evidence for the impact of policy on physical activity outcomes within the school setting: A systematic review

Background:Despite the well-established health benefits of physical activity(PA)for young people(aged 419 years),most do not meet PA *** that support PA in schools may be promising,but their impact on PA behavior is poorly *** aim of this systematic review was to ascertain the level and type of evidence reported in the international scientific literature for policies within the school setting that contribute directly or indirectly to increasing ***:This systematic review is compliant with Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis *** databases were searched using key concepts of policy,school,evaluation,and *** title and abstract screening of 2323 studies,25 progressed to data *** quality was assessed using standardized tools,and the strength of the evidence of policy impact was described based on pre-determined codes:positive,negative,inconclusive,or untested ***:Evidence emerged for 9 policy areas that had a direct or indirect effect on PA within the school *** were whole school PA policy,physical education,sport/extracurricular PA,classroom-based PA,active breaks/recess,physical environment,shared use agreements,active school transport,and *** bulk of the evidence was significantly positive(54%),27%was inconclusive,9%was significantly negative,and 11%was untested(due to rounding,some numbers add to 99%or 101%).Frequency of evidence was highest in the primary setting(41%),34%in the secondary setting,and 24%in primary/secondary combined school *** policy area,frequency of evidence was highest for sport/extracurricular PA(35%),17%for physical education,and 12%for whole school PA policy,with evidence for shared use agreements between schools and local communities rarely reported(2%).Comparing relative strength of evidence,the evidence for shared use agreements,though sparse,was 100%positive,while 60%of the evidence for w
