Reading and writing can be seen as two sides of the same coin but have different demands for the writer and the reader to *** aim of this article is to focus on writing,how to create texts when students have intellectual disabilities and how students with intellectual disabilities have improved their writing skills through an intervention *** will be highlighted from different perspectives,mostly about how writing can be supported through a structural way of *** it comes to reading and reading difficulties,many studies have been done from different aspects of these *** of these studies are among students with typical intellectual *** about writing development and difficulties are fewer in number than studies about reading,but these are also mostly about children with typical *** it comes to students with intellectual disability,studies about reading are rare and even rarer when it comes to *** this article,we will shed light on how writing difficulties can occur in general development and also when students have intellectual *** intervention study presented in this article will give some examples of how teachers can support every student’s writing development.

Multidisciplinary Approach to Breast Cancer:A New Outlook on Nursing Care

The treatment and general care for womendiagnosed with breast cancer has made a tremendous change andadvance in the last decades. Better methods for early detectionand screening of the disease, higher compliance of women to gofor screening, an open social and political discourse of women andthe health care team and others, are just a few that both enabledand are a result of this change. Nurses have been highly involvedin these changes, which resulted in the specialization of nursingin the field of breast cancer. This article will focus on the mainfour points that influence the nursing specialist care, that is, thetailoring of treatment and the ability to offer women treatmentwhich is more specific to their own cancer; the importance of themultidisciplinary team as providing a State of the Art care; theinvolvement of women in the decision-making regarding theirtreatment and the specific developing role of the specialist breastcare nurse.

CD74 is a survival receptor on colon epithelial cells

AIM: To investigate the expression and function of CD74 in normal murine colon epithelial cells (CEC) and colon carcinoma cells. METHODS: Expression of CD74 mRNA and protein were measured by reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR), Western blotting and fluorescence-activated cell sorter (FACS). The effect of migration inhibitory factor (MIF) on the survival of normal CEC from C57BL/6, NOD/SCID, and CD74 def icient mice both in vitro and in vivo, and on the CT26 carcinoma cell line was analyzed by (quantitative) qRT-PCR, RTPCR, Western blotting and FACS. RESULTS: CD74 was found to be expressed on normalCEC. Stimulation of CD74 by MIF induced a signaling cascade leading to up-regulation of Bcl-2 expression, resulting in a signif icant increased survival of CEC. CD74 was also expressed on the CT26 colon carcinoma cell line and its stimulation by MIF resulted in enhanced cell survival, up-regulation of Akt phosphorylation and Bcl-2 expression.

Background:National forest inventory and forest monitoring systems are more important than ever considering continued global degradation of trees and *** systems are especially important in a country like Bangladesh,which is characterised by a large population density,climate change vulnerability and dependence on natural *** the aim of supporting the Government’s actions towards sustainable forest management through reliable information,the Bangladesh Forest Inventory(BFI)was designed and implemented through three components:biophysical inventory,socio-economic survey and remote sensing-based land cover *** article documents the approach undertaken by the Forest Department under the Ministry of Environment,Forests and Climate Change to establish the BFI as a multipurpose,efficient,accurate and replicable national forest *** design,operationalization and some key results of the process are ***:The BFI takes advantage of the latest and most well-accepted technological and methodological ***,it was designed through a collaborative process which drew from the experience and knowledge of multiple national and international ***,1781 field plots were visited,6400 households were surveyed,and a national land cover map for the year 2015 was *** technological enhancements include a semi-automated segmentation approach for developing the wall-to-wall land cover map,an object-based national land characterisation system,consistent estimates between sample-based and mapped land cover areas,use of mobile apps for tree species identification and data collection,and use of differential global positioning system for referencing plot ***:Seven criteria,and multiple associated indicators,were developed for monitoring progress towards sustainable forest management goals,informing management decisions,and national and international reporting needs.A wide range of biophysica
