Vaccinations are essential for preventing and treating disease,especially cancer nanovaccines,which have gained considerable interest recently for their strong anti-tumor immune *** can prompt the immune system to generate antibodies and activate various immune cells,leading to a response against tumor tissues and reducing the negative effects and recurrence risks of traditional chemotherapy and *** enhance the flexibility and targeting of vaccines,nanovaccines utilize nanotechnology to encapsulate or carry antigens at the nanoscale level,enabling more controlled and precise drug delivery to enhance immune *** nanovaccines function by encapsulating tumor-specific antigens or tumor-associated antigens within *** small size of these nanomaterials allows for precise targeting of T cells,dendritic cells,or cancer cells,thereby eliciting a more potent anti-tumor *** this paper,we focus on the classification of carriers for cancer nanovaccines,the roles of different target cells,and clinically tested cancer nanovaccines,discussing strategies for effectively inducing cytotoxic T lymphocytes responses and optimizing antigen presentation,while also looking ahead to the translational challenges of moving from animal experiments to clinical trials.

Fly and bottom ash(FABA)produced primarily from coal combustion in a coal-fred power plant consists of fne particles of the organic and inorganic mixture and trace *** FABA samples from coal-fred power plants in Java,Indonesia,had been collected for composition and rare earth element and Yttrium(REY)mode of occurrence *** geochemical composition of both major and trace elements was determined by inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry/atomic emission spectrometry(ICP-MS/AES).Furthermore,the composition of FABA was identifed by petrography with refected light microscopy and X-ray difraction(XRD)***,scanning electron microscope determines the mode of occurrence of REY with an energy-dispersive X-ray(SEM–EDX).The study fnds that the inorganic component of FABA consists of glass,Fe–Mg spinel,mullite,quartz,Fe-oxide mineral,and *** contrast,the organic component is dominated by unburned *** is the most abundant component with cenospheres as major and pleiospheres as minor *** elements analysis indicates REY concentration with heavy REY(HREY)distribution ***,SEM–EDX analysis results show that Yttrium(Y)occurs in glass and has a low concentration in *** the mode occurrence of REY,in particular Yttrium,it can be predicted that alkaline fusion followed by acid leaching will be the most appropriate extraction method to extract REY from Indonesian FABA.

In this decade,coal fly ash(CFA)is considered a potential secondary source of rare earth elements(REEs).However,most REEs in coal fly ash are encapsulated in aluminosilicate glass,making it challenging to recover them through acid *** this study,a sequential alkaline-organic acid leaching was developed for the recovery of REEs from *** effect of alkaline leaching using NaOH solution on the destructive ability of aluminosilicate glass,as well as the mineralogy and morphology changes of the resulting coal fly ash,was first ***,the effectiveness of alkaline leaching on the recovery ability of REEs through organic acid leaching was *** results show that the maximum leaching efficiency for Si and Al,which was obtained at the optimum alkaline leaching conditions,namely NaOH concentration of 10 mol/L,reaction temperature of 65℃,liquid/solid(L/S)ratio of 10 mL/g,and reaction time of 90 min,is 28%and 32%,*** digestion reaction with NaOH lixiviants also causes coal fly ash to become more porous,making it advantageous in the organic acid-leaching process at the REEs recovery *** utilization of the desilicated residue produced from the digestion process in acid leaching effectively increases the overall REEs recovery from 32.2%to 77.6%.

Inhibiting effect of Endostar combined with ginsenoside Rg3 on breast cancer tumor growth in tumor-bearing mice

Objective: To study the inhibiting effect of Endostar combined with ginsenoside Rg3 on breast cancer tumor growth in tumor-bearing mice. Methods: Female mice were selected as experimental animals, and breast cancer tumor-bearing mouse models were established and then divided into group A, B, C and D that respectively received saline, recombinant human endostatin, ginsenosides Rg3 and recombinant human endostatin combined with Rg3 intervention; 7 d, 14 d and 21 d after intervention, tumor tissue volume was measured; 21 d after intervention, mice were killed, tumor tissue was collected, and m RNA contents of angiogenesis molecules, invasion molecules, autophagy marker molecules and autophagy signaling pathway molecules were detected. Results: At 7 d, 14 d and 21 d after intervention, tumor tissue volume of group B, C and D was lower than that of group A, and tumor tissue volume of group D was lower than that of group B and C; m RNA contents of VEGFA, VEGFB, VEGFC, MMP2, MMP9, p62, m TOR, PI3 K, Akt, JNK and Beclin-1 in tumor tissue of group B, C and D were significantly lower than those of group A, and LC3-II/LC3-I was significantly higher than that of group A; m RNA contents of VEGFA, VEGFB, VEGFC, MMP2, MMP9, p62, m TOR, PI3 K, Akt, JNK and Beclin-1 in tumor tissue of group D were significantly lower than those of group B and C, and LC3-II/LC3-I was higher than that of group B and C. Conclusions: Endostar combined with ginsenoside Rg3 has stronger inhibiting effect on breast cancer tumor growth in tumor-bearing mice than single drug, and it can inhibit angiogenesis and cell invasion, and enhance cell autophagy.

An integrated ore prospecting model for the Nyasirori gold deposit in Tanzania

The Nyasirori gold deposit,located in the middle-western end of the Musoma-Mara Archean greenstone belt in Tanzania,is a tectonic altered rock type gold deposit controlled by shear tectonic *** work conducted high-precision ground magnetic measurements to delineate fault structures and favorable prospecting targets,utilized induced polarization(IP)intermediate gradient to roughly determine the distribution and extension of the tectonic altered zone and gold ore(mineralized)bodies,and further carried out IP sounding and magnetotelluric sounding to locate the tectonic altered zone and gold ore(mineralized)*** anomalous gradient belt of the combination of positive and negative micromagnetic measurements reflects the detail of shallow surface tectonic alteration zone and gold mineralization *** profile anomalies indicate the spatial location and occurrence of concealed tectonic alteration zone and gold(mineralized)ore *** geochemical measurements indicate that the ore-forming element Au correlates well with As and Sb,and As and Sb anomalies have a good indication to gold *** on the multi-source geological-geophysical-geochemical information of the Nyasirori gold deposit,this work established an integrated prospecting model and proposed a set of geophysical and geochemical methods for optimizing prospecting targets.

Expression and role of specificity protein 1 and collagenⅠin recurrent pterygial tissues

AIM:To investigate the expression profiles of the transcription factor specificity protein 1(Sp1)and collagenⅠin recurrent pterygial *** is more,to compare the changes of Sp1 and collagen I among primary pterygial tissue,recurrent pterygial tissue and conjunctival ***:In the prospective study,we collected the pterygial tissues of 40 patients who underwent resection of primary pterygial tissue and recurrent pterygial tissue,and the conjunctival tissues of 10 patients with enucleation due to *** relative expression levels of Sp1 and collagen I were analyzed by reverse transcription quantitative-polymerase chain reaction and Western *** t-test was performed to compare the Sp1 and collagen I of recurrent pterygial tissues,as well as the primary pterygial tissues and conjunctival *** further,Pearson’s hypothesis testing of correlation coefficients was used to compare the correlations of Sp1 and Collagen ***:The content of Sp1 and collagen I m RNA and protein was significantly greater in recurrent pterygial tissue than that was in primary and conjunctival tissue(P<0.05).There was a positive correlation between the m RNA and protein levels of Sp1 and collagen I in recurrent pterygial tissues(protein:r=0.913,P<0.05;m RNA:r=0.945,P<0.05).CONCLUSION:Sp1 and collagen I are expressed in normal conjunctival,primary,and recurrent pterygial tissues,but expression is significantly greater in the ***1 and collagen I may be involved in the regulation of the development of recurrent pterygium.

Fast-track surgery in elderly patients undergoing colorectal cancer radical resection

Purpose:To investigate the efficacy of applying fast-track surgery(FTS)to elderly patients undergoing radical resection of colorectal ***:Elderly patients undergoing radical resection of colorectal cancer received FTS(n=31)or routine(n=31)nursing *** time to first anal exhaust,oral feeding and leaving the bed,duration of postoperative hospital stay and the incidence of complications were compared between the two ***:Patients receiving FTS nursing demonstrated significantly shorter times to exhaust,oral feeding and leaving the bed compared with those receiving routine nursing(all p<0.01).Furthermore,there were significantly fewer incidences of postoperative pulmonary and urinary tract infections and intestinal adhesion in patients receiving FTS nursing(all p<0.05).Conclusion:Application of FTS in elderly patients undergoing radical resection of colorectal cancer facilitates an early rehabilitation after surgery,but places higher demands on nursing care.

In this paper, the interactions of multiple parallel symmetric and permeable finite length cracks in a piezoelectric/piezomagnetic material plane subjected to anti-plane shear stress loading are studied by the Schmidt *** problem is formulated through Fourier transform into dual integral equations, in which the unknown variables are the displacement jumps across the crack *** solve the dual integral equations, the displacement jumps across the crack surfaces are directly expanded as a series of Jacobi ***, the relation between the electric field, the magnetic flux field and the stress field near the crack tips is *** results show that the stress, the electric displacement and the magnetic flux intensity factors at the crack tips depend on the length and spacing of the *** is also revealed that the crack shielding effect presents in piezoelectric/piezomagnetic materials.

Effect of dietary stable isotopic ratios of carbon and nitrogen on the extent of their incorporation into tissues of rats

This study was conducted to investigate the effect of different dietary ratios of 13C to 12C or 15 N to 14N on their relative incorporation into tissues. Eighty male rats were used in two 21-day feeding trials in which they were fed diets with either high δ13C levels （δ13C=-13.89%o and δ15N =2.37%o in experiment 1 and δ13C=-19.34%o and δ15N = 4.73%o in experiment 2） or low 613C levels （δ13C =-17.90%o and δ15N = 3.08%o in experiment 1 and δ13C =-21.76%o and δ15N = 0.53‰ in experiment 2）, meanwhile, the dietary δ15N levels were designed to two ranks Blood, liver, adipose and muscle tissues were collected on day 0, 3, 7, 14, and 21 for determination of 13C, 12C, 15N and 14 N isotopes. Rat growth rate, antioxidant capacity and metabolic parameters were also assessed. The results indicate that adipose tissue tend to deplete 13C before the stable isotopic ratios achieved final equilibrium. Therefore, feeds with different isotopic signatures had different incorporation rates into tissues. Low dietary 13C levels decreased tissue δ13C values whereas high dietary 13C levels did not alter tissue δ13C values during the 21-d experiment. Blood δ15N values were a reliable parameter in assessing the relative contribution of dietary nitrogen to tissues. This study revealed a relationship between dietary tissues. However, more studies are needed to illustrate the sotopic signatures and their incorporation rates into rat mechanism through which dietary isotopic ratios nfiuence the extent of isotopic incorporation into the tissues

Two new saponins 3-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl (1 → 2)-β-d-mannopyranosyl sarsasapogenin, named timosaponin A IV(1) and (5β, 25S)-26-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl-furost-20(22)-en-3,26-diol-3-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl (1 → 4) glucopyranosyl (1 → 2)-β-d-galacopyranoside, named timosaponin B IV(2), were isolated by silica gel column chromatography and preparative HPLC from Anemarrhena asphodeloides Bge. Their structures were elucidated by chemical characters and spectroscopic analysis.
