The TCM therapeutic principle of "eliminating the pathogenic factors by supporting the healthy energy" was adopted in massage to treat and prevent recurrent respiratory tract infection of children. Susceptible and healthy children of the same age were used as controls. As a result, the therapeutic effect of the treatment group is significantly better than that of the controls, with all of the immunologic indexes being approximately normal when the patients were reexamined 3 and 6 months after the massage. Statistically, the difference was significant (P<0.01). Massage has been proved very helpful in improving the general constitution, enhancing the immune functions, preventing and treating the condition, and in health care as well.

Purpose:This article was intended to share and reflect on experiences concerning the education for sustainable development(ESD)project at Hongqiao kindergarten in *** project aimed to explore how ESD could be implemented in a current curriculum and to provide useful examples of educational activities and ***/Approach/Methods:The action research included two cycles with four *** first cycle involved the integration of ESD into a traditional science *** second cycle involved the validation and optimization of the ESD *** implementation strategies were reviewed and ***:first,a variety of strategies can be used to identify the theme and choose the ***,the objectives should be developed on children’s life experiences and ***,the idea of ESD can be implemented in multiple ***,a reasonable objective system involving ESD was constructed for children by ***,there were many effective ways to integrate ESD activities into other domains of *** challenges and implications were also ***/Value:The study had a positive effect on teachers’ability to practice *** was a pioneer project in early childhood education in China,which provided valuable information for those aiming to implement ESD practices in Chinese kindergartens.

This study investigated the professional commitment of kindergarten teachers in a private kindergarten located in Jinan,Shandong Province,*** research employed a questionnaire and utilized correlation analysis to examine the factors influencing the professional commitment of private kindergarten *** findings revealed that the overall level of career commitment among private kindergarten teachers was moderately *** the three dimensions of professional commitment,namely,continuance commitment,affective commitment,and normative commitment,the affective commitment dimension exhibited a relatively high level,whereas the continuance commitment and normative commitment dimensions showed relatively low *** differences in professional commitment levels were observed based on teacher age,education level,age of children,salary,and class ***,no significant differences were found based on teacher specialty,position,and teaching experience.

With the continuously increasing competition in the modern society, the learning pressure of students is getting greater and greater and many students are in shortage of reasonable time to take physical exercises so that they are in a state of sub-health for a long time. Aerobics, as a combination of music and sports, has been more and more popular among teachers and students. However, in aerobics training, the injuries to the physical bodies of students will be caused due to the improper training methods. Therefore, in this paper, the points needing attention in aerobics training is studied, and then scientific aerobics training methods are proposed.

Purpose:The article investigates how to make a broader understanding of sustainability relevant for early childhood education(ECE)guided by the four dimensions suggested by United Nations Educational,Scientific and Cultural Organization:ecological,economic and social/cultural sustainability,and good ***/Approach/Methods:Previous research on ECE on sustainability is discussed in relation to the four dimensions and to Biesta’s concepts of socialization,qualification,and ***:The investigation finds that all four dimensions are necessary in ECE for sustainability,and it suggests how the dimensions can be understood,how they may overlap,and how they can be ***/Value:The article depicts how children’s opportunities to engage and to disturb established ways of thinking can be facilitated through all dimensions.

The study reported in this paper is a corpus-based study in which it-clefts,wh-clefts,and inverted wh-clefts in the writings of Chinese college students and those of their British counterparts are *** it is intended to investigate into the characteristics of the use of cleft sentences in Chinese English majors’writings and the factors that may possibly contribute to these *** findings show that similarities and disparities are both found in cleft use between the two groups of writers,and the distinctions should not simply be labeled as“over-use”or“under-use”,for features like reductionism,parochialism,and avoidance in Chinese students’use of cleft sentences are also revealed through deeper analysis.

A Corpus-Based Study on the Core Vocabulary Growth Models of College English Intensive Reading Materials

This paper explores the intra-textual core vocabulary occurrence rates and core vocabulary growth patterns in the four sets of College English coursebooks favorably evaluated by the Ministry of Education of China in 2004. And the CECR (College English Curriculum Requirements) word list is adopted as the reference word list. The research result reveals that the single text occurrence rates of the core vocabulary of the four sets of books vary substantially from one to another, with New Horizon College English (INHCE) covering the most. In general, the vocabulary size steadily grows within the four sets of course books;however, the unsmooth vocabulary growth pattern does exist. And core vocabulary growth patterns vary due to the differences in the single text occurrence rates of the core vocabulary of the four sets of books.
