Aqueous Zn metal batteries(AZMBs)with intrinsic safety,high energy density and low cost have been regarded as promising electrochemical energy storage ***,the parasitic reaction on metallic Zn anode and the incompatibility between electrode and electrolytes lead to the deterioration of electrochemical performance of AZMBs during the *** critical point to achieve the stable cycling of AZMBs is to properly regulate the zinc ion solvated structure and transfer behavior between metallic Zn anode and *** recent years,numerous achievements have been made to resolve the formation of Zn dendrite and interface incompatible issues faced by AZMBs via optimizing the sheath structure and transport capability of zinc ions at electrode-electrolyte *** this review,the challenges for metallic Zn anode and electrode-electrolyte interface in AZMBs including dendrite formation and interface characteristics are *** the influences of different strategies involving designing advanced electrode structu re,artificial solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)on Zn anode and electrolyte engineering to regulate zinc ion solvated sheath structure and transport behavior are summarized and ***,the perspectives for the future development of design strategies for dendrite-free Zn metal anode and long lifespan AZMBs are also given.

AIM:To investigate the association between the programmed death-1(PD-1) polymorphisms and genetic susceptibility of chronic hepatitis B virus(HBV) infection in Chinese ***:Two single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs),PD-1.1 G > A and PD-1.2 G > A,were genotyped in 539 patients with chronic HBV infection and 353 other family members(HbsAg-) from 256 nuclear families using polymerase chain reactiorestriction fragment length polymorphisms *** associations between PD-1 polymorphisms and genetic susceptibilityof chronic HBV infection were analyzed usng the familybased association analysis ***:No association or linkage was detected among 539 ***(single-marker) familybased association tests demonstrated that PD-1 genotypes,alleles and transmitted haplotypes are not associated with chronic HBV infection(all with P value more than 0.05).Transmission/disequilibrium test and sibship disequilibrium test analysis showed no excess of the alleles from heterozygous parents to affected offspring(P = 0.688880,P = 1.000000 respectively).CONCLUSION:The data demonstrated that PD-1.1 and PD-1.2 polymorphisms are not associated with chronic HBV infection in Chinese patients.

AIM： To investigate the relationship between donor liver cold preservation, lung surfactant （LS） changes and acute lung injury （ALI） after liver transplantation. METHODS： Liver transplantation models were estab- lished using male Wistar rats. Donor livers were pre- served in University of Wisconsin solution at 4 ℃ for different lengths of time. The effect of ammonium pyr- rolidinedithiocarbamate （PDTC） on ALI was also detect- ed. All samples were harvested after 3 h *** severity of AU was evaluated by lung weight/body weight ratio, lung histopathological score, serum nitric oxide （NO） and endothelin （ET）-I levels, lung tumor necrosis factor （TNF）-α and interleukin （IL）-1β levels. Lung surfactants （LSs） were determined by micellar electrokinetic capillary chromatography. RESULTS： With extended donor liver cold preservation time （CPT）, lung histopathological scores, serum ET-i levels, lung weight/body weight ratio and the level of TNF-α and IL-1β in lung were increased significantly in the 180-min group compared with the sham group （3.16± 0.28 vs 1.12 ± 0.21, P 〈 0.001; 343.59±53.97 vs 141.53± 48.48, P 〈 0.001; 0.00687 ±0.00037 vs 0.00557 ±0.00056, P 〈 0.001; 17.5 ± 3.0 vs 1,3 ± 0.3, P 〈 0.001; 10.8± 2.3 vs 1.8 ± 0.4, P 〈 0.001）, but serum NO levels decreased remarkably （74.67 ± 10.01 vs 24.97 ± 3.18, P 〈 0.001）. The expression of lung phos- phatidylcholine （PC）, phosphatidylethanolamine （PE）, phosphatidylinositol （PI） and phosphatidylserine （PS） increased when CPT was 〈 120 rain, and decreased when CPT was 〉 180 min （PC： 1318.89 ± 54.79 vs 1011.18± 59.99, P 〈 0.001; PE： 1504.45± 119.96 vs 1340.80±76.39, P = 0.0019; PI： 201.23 ± 34.82 vs 185.88 ± 17.04, P = 0.2265; PS： 300.43±32.95 vs 286.55± 55.55, P = 0.5054）. All these ALI-associated indexes could be partially reversed by PDTC treatment.

The quantitative expressions of lymphangiogenic factors and metastasis in human colorectal cancers

Objective： The purpose of this paper was to study the expression levels of newly described lymphatic endothelial markers – LYVE-1, Prox-1, podoplanin and 5’-nucleotidase, and their correlation with metastasis of human colorectal cancers. Methods： Tumor and corresponding tumor-side normal tissue samples were obtained from resected specimens immediately after operation. Expression level of each factor was determined by quantitative real-time PCR （RT-PCR） and Western blot technique. Results： Expression levels of lymphatic endothelial markers LYVE-1, Prox-1, podoplanin and 5’-nucleotidase were significantly different in tumor and tumor-side normal groups. Expression levels of Prox-1 and podoplanin were higher in patients with positive lymph node metastasis than those without metastasis. LYVE-1, but not 5’-nucleotidase expression level was higher in both cancer and normal groups. Conclusion： These results indicate that combined quantitative analysis of lymphangiogenic markers LYVE-1, Prox-1 and podoplanin in colorectal cancer specimens may be useful in predicting metastasis of colorectal cancer to regional lymph nodes. However, the role of 5’-nucleotidase in predicting metastasis of colorectal cancer still remains to be further analyzed.

Dear Editor,Intensity-modulated radiotherapy(IMRT)has a distinct advantage of high conformity and is an appropriate tech-nique for treating nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC).Pre-vious studies have demonstrated that anatomical changes in the external contour,shape,and location of the target and critical structures are significant and result in dosi-metric changes[1,2].Patients’quality of life and clini-cal outcomes might be improved by IMRT replanning[3].Therefore,replanning strategies should be consid-ered instead of single-planning strategies throughout the entire course of ***,there are sub-stantial controversies on(1)the appropriate time for tar-get redelineation,(2)how to modify the target volumes,and(3)how to evaluate the modified *** present study provides a new perspective in replanning with regard to these three aspects.

利用自制的5 kW微波等离子体化学气相沉积(MPCVD)装置对在不同衬底材料上外延生长的CVD金刚石进行了研究.利用HPHT金刚石、CVD异质形核生长的金刚石及Ia型天然金刚石样品作为籽晶,分析了不同CH4浓度与基片温度对外延CVD金刚石的影响以及通过扫描电子显微镜表征了CVD金刚石外延面的表面形貌.结果发现,HPHT金刚石为籽晶,由于其自身缺陷导致外延效果不佳;CVD异质形核生长的衬底因形核阶段的晶面生长难以控制而使其外延面较粗糙;经打磨的Ia型天然金刚石才是理想的籽晶.当CH4浓度约为10%、基片温度为1 020℃时,CVD金刚石的外延生长速率可达到70.0 μm/h.
