In this article, with the use of the Agency mode, I try to shed light on the resilient capacity of African societies to the foreign inroad in the 20th century. In 1910-1940, the success of Hamallist Information Networks to beat the French imperial machinery in the Nioro of the Sahara located in the French Sudan （known as Mali nowadays）, leads to reconsidering the power relationship organizing the authority and the challenge to establish the authority relation during colonial period. That calls into question the idea of a sole and unique domination by French imperialism during colonization and at the same time, it indicates that indigenous people were very active in the historical processes, which determined their existence.

AIDS is a public health problem of which,in spite of the authorized actions and efforts,the socio‐economic,cultural,and political effects on humanity do not cease *** either preventive or curative solutions remains a big concern and the production of knowledge is still one of the *** is in this context that this study on the socio‐demographic characteristics in connection with the evolution of the disease in rural environment was carried *** concerned targets were the rural populations of Indenie‐Djuablin,an area located at the East of the Ivory ***,Affalikro,Aniassue,Amelekia,and Bettie,principal large villages of the chief town of Abengourou area were the sites of data collection of nearly 305 samples of individuals using a questionnaire and interview *** study used a quantitative and qualitative method with the dialectical and hypothetico‐deductive approaches for the data *** results obtained and discussed made it possible to conclude that the socio‐demographic characteristics,while determining the attitudes and behaviors,expose the individuals to the HIV/AIDS contamination.

The development of Ivorian public debt in recent years has raised *** its current level capable of boosting the economy or,on the contrary,being at the source of a recession?This paper analyzes the effect of the level of indebtedness on economic growth in Côte d’Ivoire using the Threshold Autoregressive(TAR)model over the period *** results obtained in the short run shed light on the no relationship between public debt and economic *** the long run,on the other hand,there is a bi-directional granger causality between public debt and the sustainability of economic *** non-linearity between the variables of interest has been studied and the results show the presence of a threshold effect:beyond 48.03 percent of GDP,any increase in public debt by 1%should reduce economic growth by 0.28%.Thus,the study questions the relevance of the criterion set by the WAEMU:public debt<70%of GDP.

Intelligent Detection and Identification of Attacks in IoT Networks Based on the Combination of DNN and LSTM Methods with a Set of Classifiers

Internet of Things (IoT) networks present unique cybersecurity challenges due to their distributed and heterogeneous nature. Our study explores the effectiveness of two types of deep learning models, long-term memory neural networks (LSTMs) and deep neural networks (DNNs), for detecting attacks in IoT networks. We evaluated the performance of six hybrid models combining LSTM or DNN feature extractors with classifiers such as Random Forest, k-Nearest Neighbors and XGBoost. The LSTM-RF and LSTM-XGBoost models showed lower accuracy variability in the face of different types of attack, indicating greater robustness. The LSTM-RF and LSTM-XGBoost models show variability in results, with accuracies between 58% and 99% for attack types, while LSTM-KNN has higher but more variable accuracies, between 72% and 99%. The DNN-RF and DNN-XGBoost models show lower variability in their results, with accuracies between 59% and 99%, while DNN-KNN has higher but more variable accuracies, between 71% and 99%. LSTM-based models are proving to be more effective for detecting attacks in IoT networks, particularly for sophisticated attacks. However, the final choice of model depends on the constraints of the application, taking into account a trade-off between accuracy and complexity.

Background: Several authors are studying sexual activity of hysterectomies women. However, the review of literature reveals few data in sub-Saharan Africa on the psychological and sexual impact of this treatment option. Objective: To assess sexual activity and sexual satisfaction of women after hysterectomy for benign disorders. Methods: Single center analytical study based on patient opinion. It was conducted in a five-year period: from January 2012 to December 2016 at the Yopougon teaching Hospital. Results: Hysterectomy accounted for 15.9% of gynecological surgical activities. Hysterectomy for benign pathology accounted for 3.3% of hysterectomies. The average age was 47.6 years old. The indications were dominated by uterine fibroid (88.68%). Hysterectomy was performed by the abdominal route in 86.79% of cases. Sexual activity was resumed in the second trimester post-operative in 69.81%. After hysterectomy, dyspareunia was reduced (p 0.05), orgasm was more intense (p 0.05) with a greater sexual satisfaction (p 0.05). Conclusion: This study shows that there is no significant difference for women’s sexuality before and after hysterectomy.

An important problem of actuarial risk management is the calculation of the probability of ruin. Using probability theory and the definition of the Laplace transform one obtains expressions, in the classical risk model, for survival probabilities in a finite time horizon. Then explicit solutions are found with the inversion of the double Laplace transform;using algebra, the Laplace complex inversion formula and Matlab, for the exponential claim amount distribution.

In this paper, we consider the following second-order nonlinear differential equations’ problem: a.e on Φ=[0, T] with a discontinuous perturbation and multivalued boundary conditions. By combining lower and upper solutions method, theory of monotone operators and theory of topological degree, we show the existence of solutions of the investigated problem in two cases. At first, α andβ are assumed respectively an ordered pair of lower and upper solutions of the problem, secondly α and β are assumed respectively non ordered pair of lower and upper solutions of the problem. Moreover, we show multiplicity results when the problem admits a pair of lower and strict lower solutions and a pair of upper and strict upper solutions. We also show that our method of proof stays true for a periodic problem.

Overview and aim:The precocity of sexual intercourse among adolescent girls is a prominent source of unwanted ***,we aim to survey the past issues relating to the pregnancy,childbirth,and materno-fetal prognosis of Ivorian adolescent ***:We conducted a retrospsective study with adolescent group(n=1040)versus young adult group aged 20 to 24(n=736)over three years from1st January 2016 to 31rd December 2018 at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the university of Abidjan-Yopougon *** and fetal outcomes of the two groups were analyzed and compared by using Pearson's Chi2 tests and Fisher's exact tests,followed by multivariate analysis and logistic regression using Stata software version ***:The average age of adolescent girls in our study was 17.45 years(SD=1.39)and a minimum of 12 *** consulted less(P<0.0001)and later(P<0.0001)versus young adults aged 20 to *** proportion of adolescent girls(47.6%)versus young adults(39.1%)who had underwent caesarean section was significantly higher(P=0.0004).These adolescents were 3.5-fold more likely to develop hypertension and its complications in the postpartum period and 2.5-fold more likely to contract a postpartum *** mortality was not significantly associated with adolescence(OR=0.52)(95%CI:0.22–1.19;P=0.0891).The risk of prematurity,early neonatal death,and neonatal admission were 2.02(95%CI:1.56–2.63;P<0.0001),1.55(95%CI:1.14–2.13;P=0.0040),and 1.73(95%CI:1.12–2.71;P=0.0097)in adolescence,***:Adolescent childbirth remains associated with a poor prognosis.

Mechanical Characterization of Rubber Latex-Based Carpets (Hevea bresiliensis): Influence of Rubber Latex Content and Fiber Fabrics (Cotton and Mosquito Nets) on Wear Resistance of Rubber Latex-Based Carpets

This work focuses on the development of carpets from sand, fabrics of cotton fiber and mosquito nets and rubber latex. Following a study on the choice of the best formulations, the quantity of rubber latex used for shaping varies between 14% and 18% (latex/sand + latex ratio) for the carpet with the fabric of mosquito nets and between 16% and 18% for the one made with the fabric of cotton fiber. Thus, with a mixture of sand, fiber fabrics (cotton and mosquito nets) and rubber latex, carpets were developed. In addition, the wear test carried out on these samples indicates that it is possible to produce carpets with the new material made of rubber sand and latex: SABLATEX At room temperature. Following the characterization test, it resorts to only 16% latex with cotton fiber fabric, allowing to have carpets with good mechanical characteristics.

An Agent Based Model for Ransomware Detection and Mitigation in a Cloud System

The increasing trend toward dematerialization and digitalization has prompted a surge in the adoption of IT service providers, offering cost-effective alternatives to traditional local services. Consequently, cloud services have become prevalent across various industries. While these services offer undeniable benefits, they face significant threats, particularly concerning the sensitivity of the data they handle. Many existing mathematical models struggle to accurately depict the complex scenarios of cloud systems. In response to this challenge, this paper proposes a behavioral model for ransomware propagation within such environments. In this model, each component of the environment is defined as an agent responsible for monitoring the propagation of malware. Given the distinct characteristics and criticality of these agents, the impact of malware can vary significantly. Scenario attacks are constructed based on real-world vulnerabilities documented in the Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) through the National Vulnerability Database. Defender actions are guided by an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) guideline. This research aims to provide a comprehensive framework for understanding and addressing ransomware threats in cloud systems. By leveraging an agent- based approach and real-world vulnerability data, our model offers valuable insights into detection and mitigation strategies for safeguarding sensitive cloud-based assets.
