Photoeletricity Capability of Imager Detector with Coated Blends of Polymer and Perylene or Coronene

Perylene and coronene have been synthesized with good yield via the Dields-Alder reaction. They have good photoluminescence properties and could transfer ultraviolet light to visible-light. To find an easy way of making a better ultraviolet charge coupled device, we blended perylene or coronene with polymers. Then, these blends were analysed by the photoluminescence spectrum. The results indicate that the blends have larger fluorescence intensity than pure perylene or coronene. Through spreading these blends on image detectors, organic image detectors with good ultraviolet photoelectricity capability were prepared.

A novel vanadate decamer, involving all vanadium atoms present in +5 oxidation and one formhydroxamic acid dimer cation readical, has been synthesized. The single-crystal X-ray diffraction shows that the orange crystal is formed in the triclinic system, space group Pi, a = 8. 4960 (17), b = 10.447 (2), c = 11.299 (2) A, α= 68. 82 (3)°,β= 87.35 (3)°, γ = 66.97(3)°. V = 855. 3(3) A3, Z = 8, R1 = 0. 0857, wR2=0. 2551. X-ray crystallographic and packing in superlattice studies showed that the crystal structure was constructed by electrostatic attraction of O-H…O hydrogen bonds between formhydroxamic acid dimer cation and decavanadate polyanion. Formhydroxamic acid dimer is got through controlling the condition of the reaction using formhydroxamic acid.

A new Pb（II） coordination polymer， [Pb（adip）(L);];(1， H;adip = adipic acid， L = 2-（4-N，N?-dimethylphenyl）- 1-H-imidazo[4，5-f][1，10] phenanthroline)， was synthesized under hydrothermal conditions and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction， powder XRD， FT-IR， thermogravimetric， fluorescence spectrum and elemental analysis techniques. Complex 1 crystallizes in triclinic system， space group P1 with a = 11.406（3）， b = 12.036（4）， c = 17.520（5） ?， V = 2228.3（11） ?;， M;= 1028.09， D;= 1.532 g·cm;， F（000） = 1024， μ（MoKα） = 3.842， R;= 0.0274 and Z = 2. The final R = 0.1055 and wR = 0.3277 for 6954 observed reflections with I > 2σ（I）. It features a one-dimensional chain linked by adip;ligand. Moreover， complex 1 exhibits strong green luminescence with emission peak of 514 nm. In addition， the quantum-chemical calculations were accomplished on ?molecular fragments? extracted from the crystal structure of 1 using the PBE0/LANL2DZ method built in Gaussian 16 Program. The calculation values denoted the distinct covalent interaction between the coordinated atoms and Pb（II） ion.

Electronic structures and nonlinear optical properties of XAuPH_3

The studies on model systems XAuPH3 (X=H, F, Cl, Br, I, CN, CH3 ) have been carried out by using ab intio HF and DFT B3LYP methods at pseudopotential and dou-ble-zeta LANL2DZ level. The results are compared with those of MP2. The properties of the models, i.e. the atomic net charge populations, the frontier molecular orbitals and nonlinear optical (NLO) properties have been investigated under an applied electric field on the basis of optimized structures. The computational results show that for these models characterized as electron acceptor-metal-electron donor (A-M-D) system, the NLO properties are due to in-tramolecular charge-transfer interaction between the accep-tor and the donor. The more charges transfer gives, the bet-ter NLO properties. In the selected model systems, IAuPH3 has the biggest bvec and g of 1184.1942 a.u. and 17341.9214 a.u., whereas IC6H4PH3+, a typical A--D organic conjugated system, has bvec and of 710.7697 and 11664.1405 a.u. respec-tively. In comparison, IAuPH3 has significant NLO proper-ties.

Spectrofluorimetric Determination of Cu^2＋ Using New Fluorogenic Reagent

A new synthesized fluorogenic reagent, 8-[(2-pyridine)methylideneamino] quinoline (PMAQ), was utilized for spectrofluorimetric determination of Cu(II) at trace levels. PMAQ, a good fluorogenic reagent, though insoluble in water, but is soluble in ethanol and 20% ethanol-water. The excitation and the fluorescence wavelengths of PMAQ were 310 and 434 nm respectively. When the reagent was complexed with Cu(II), the fluorescence intensity decreased proportionally with the concentration of Cu(II) at pH 4.5 by a static quenching effect. The highest sensitivity to Cu2+ determination was shown to be at PMAQ concentration of 1.0 X 10(-5) mol.L-1. In order to enhance the quenching effect, the Cu(II)-PMAQ complex solution was kept at 22 degreesC for 20 min. Though the interferences by Co(II) and Fe(III) were very serious, they were however, completely eliminated by being masked with oxalate and ascorbate ions respectively. The linear dynamic range for Cu(II) determination was between 25-441 mug.L-1 with the detection limit of 18 mug.L-1 (RSD=3.7%, n=6). The proposed method was successfully applied to the determination of Cu(II) in real samples including human blood serum, commercial tea and wheat flour.

The all-lithium salts of heteropoly acid Li_xXM_ 12O_ 40(HPA-Li)(X=P, Si; M=Mo, W) were obtained via ion exchange and characterized by means of IR and UV spectroscopies, TG and elemental analyses. The conductivity of the electrolytic solution consisting of Li_3PW_ 12O_ 40 and PC/DME mixing solvent(1/2.5, volume ratio) is up to 7.2×10 -2 S/cm, being higher than that of LiClO_4 as the electrolyte. The all-lithium salts were used as electrolytes in secondary lithium-ion batteries. The discharge capacity of the PAS/Li batteries with Li_3PW_ 12O_ 40 electrolyte solutions reaches to 148 (mA·h)/g and the cyclic life is up to 380 times, much better than those of commercialized products with LiClO_4 and LiAsF_6 as electrolytes.

SnO\-2 prepared with the sol-gel technique at different temperatures was used as an anode material of the lithium-ion battery. We obtained the qualititave relationship between the electrochemical performance of tin oxide anode material and each of its carbon component, particle size, structure and surface morphology in detail. It was found that the best electrochemical performance can be reached by controlling the physical characteristics of SnO\-2, which was affected greatly by the treatment temperature. The SnO\-2 obtained at 600 ℃ was pure. When it was used as the anode material of the lithium-ion battery, it demonstrated a high initial specific capacity of 770 mA\5h/g.

A new method for synthesis of 3-azido-3-deoxyxylofuranoside was described. D-ribose was methylated, then treated with methanesulfonyl chloride to give II. II was selectively replaced by benzoate at the 5-position to give III. All these processes gave good yields. III was treated with sodium azide to afford IV, whose structure was determined by 1H NMR and 13C NMR.

Introduction Nicotinic acid and its transition-metal comple-xes have become increasingly important due to their potential applications as cosmetics or medicines with antitumor, antibacterial and antifungal activities, and the activity in the maintenance of normal glucose metabolism[1-3], etc. A major research effort has been made to generate such materials and to study their biological activity[4-9]. But few of the previous works have directed towards the structure investigation of these metal complexes[6-9]. So, in this report we aim at testing the effect of hydrothermal synthesis on the formation of the crystal structures of crystalline [Zn(nic)2(H2O)4 ](nic=nicotinic acid).
