A procedural footprint enhancement of global topographic surface with multiple levels of detail

Virtual globes are technologies for visual navigation through a threedimensional,multi-resolution model of the entire *** representations used in virtual globes,however,lack geometric flexibility at high-resolution levels of the planet-wide terrain *** is a problem especially if boundaries between individual geospatial features and the terrain are important.A novel integration of individual polygonal boundaries with a specific multi-resolution representation of the planet-wide terrain is developed in this *** the preparation stage,the integration relies on an original simplification algorithm applied to the polygonal boundaries between geospatial features and the *** output is a multiple level-of-detail(LOD)geometry,which can be combined with a known multi-LOD representation of the terrain that uses run-time *** data representation is suitable for storage in existing database systems,avoids any data redundancy across LODs,and is even independent of the subdivision schema that partitions the planet’s surface for the sake of dealing with *** runtime,a novel reconstruction algorithm stitches geometric parts from different LODs together in a manner that augments the multi-LOD representation of the *** a certain proximity range from a given position,the method reconstructs a scene that preserves topological relations between the boundaries of geospatial features with the *** method also guarantees that certain nearest proximity to the given position consists of the best geometries that correspond to the original *** properties of the method close up the gap between a mere exploratory visualization of static,pre-generated models and the models supporting geospatial analysis,which is deemed crucial for applications in Geographic Information Systems,Building Information Modelling and other software industries.A prototype implementation and experiment results that prove this method are also prese

Qilianyu Islands coral reefs(QICR),located in the northeastern part of the South China Sea,has been affected by human activities and natural *** characterize the trophic structure,ecosystem properties and keystone species of this region,a food-web model for the QICR is developed using methods involving a mass-balance approach with Ecopath with Ecosim *** levels range from 1.00 for detritus and primary producers to 3.80 for *** mean trophic transfer efficiency for the entire ecosystem is 13.15%,with 55%of total energy flow originating from primary producers.A mixed trophic impact analysis indicates that coral strongly impacts most components of this ecosystem.A comparison of our QICR model with that for other coral reef ecosystems suggests that the QICR ecosystem is immature and/or is degraded.

Accurate calculation for comprehensive power load of fishery energy internet plays a significant role in reasonable using of energy and reducing environmental ***,as fishery power load is of greatly unique meteorology sensitivity,it continues to be a difficult ***,the research of fishery meteorology is an important part of the rational development of fishery resources,the protection of production safety,and the pursuit of high and stable *** paper makes a deep study on the power load of the fishery energy internet under the influence of fishery meteorology and takes onshore fish pond as the research *** of all,the power load is divided into three parts:oxygen enrichment power load,feeding power load,and water replenishment and drainage power *** impact mechanism of fishery meteorology(including temperature,surface wind speed,precipitation,relative humidity,etc.)on it is described,and then the overall power load is obtained through modeling and ***,taking the Yuguang Complementary project in Zhouquan Town,Tongxiang,Zhejiang Province,China as an example,using the meteorological data of its typical spring day and using the MATLAB tool to solve,the hourly comparison of the three types of power loads,the comprehensive power load demand,the full-day electricity charge forecast and the total annual power consumption are *** annual power consumption per hectare and per kilogram of output calculated by simulation are basically consistent with the order of magnitude of the survey data,which proves the validity of the model *** model established in this paper is an original work,and the exploration of fishery energy internet can draw lessons from it.

Parallel scheduling strategy of web-based spatial computing tasks in multi-core environment

In order to improve the concurrent access performance of the web-based spatial computing system in cluster,a parallel scheduling strategy based on the multi-core environment is proposed,which includes two levels of parallel processing *** is that it can evenly allocate tasks to each server node in the cluster and the other is that it can implement the load balancing inside a server *** on the strategy,a new web-based spatial computing model is designed in this paper,in which,a task response ratio calculation method,a request queue buffer mechanism and a thread scheduling strategy are focused *** results show that the new model can fully use the multi-core computing advantage of each server node in the concurrent access environment and improve the average hits per second,average I/O Hits,CPU utilization and *** speed-up ratio to analyze the traditional model and the new one,the result shows that the new model has the best *** performance of the multi-core server nodes in the cluster is optimized;the resource utilization and the parallel processing capabilities are *** more CPU cores you have,the higher parallel processing capabilities will be obtained.

Toxic Dinoflagellate Alexandrium tamarense Induces Oxidative Stress and Apoptosis in Hepatopancreas of Shrimp(Fenneropenaeus chinensis)

This study investigated the inductive effect ofAlexandrium tamarense, a toxic dinoflagellate producing paralytic shell- fish poison, on oxidative stress and apoptosis in hepatopancreas of Chinese shrimp, Fenneropenaeus chinensis. The individuals of E chinensis were exposed to 200 and 1000 cells mL-1 of A. tamarense with their superoxide dismutase （SOD）, glutathione S-transferase （GST） activities, malonyldialdehyde （MDA） concentration, and caspase gene （FcCasp） expression in hepatopancreas determined at 12, 24, 48, 72 and 96 h. In addition, apoptosis in hepatopancreas of E chinensis at 96 h after exposure was determined through terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated dUTP nick end labeling （TUNEL） assay. The hepatopancreatic SOD and GST activities of F. chinensis exposed to 1000 cells mL-1 ofA. tamarense showed a bell-shaped response to exposure time. The hepatopancreatic MDA concentration ofF. chinensis exposed to 1000 cellsmL-1 ofA. tamarense increased gradually from 48 to 96h, and such a trend corresponded to the decrease of GST activity. The hepatopancreatic FcCasp transcript abundance of F. chinensis exposed to 1000 cells mL-1 ofA. tamarense was positively and linearly correlated to MDA concentration. Results of TUNEL assay showed that exposure to 1000 cells mL-1 of A. tamarense induced apoptosis in the hepatopancreas of E chinensis. Our study revealed that A. tamarense exposure influenced the antioxidative status ofF. chinensis and caused lipid peroxidation and apoptosis in the hepatopancreas of shrimp.

Phylogenetic diversity of culturable bacteria in surface seawater from the Drake Passage,Antarctica

The Drake Passage is located between the Antarctic Peninsula and Tierra del Fuego in the south of South *** seawater samples were collected at seven sites in the Drake Passage during the austral summer of *** 16 S rRNA sequences were analyzed from 187 isolated bacterial *** phyla,29 genera and 56 species were *** three phyla were Actinobacteria,Firmicutes and Proteobacteria;the Proteobacteria included a-Proteobacteria,P-Proteobacteria and y-Proteobacteria.y-Proteobacteria,Actinobacteria and Firmicutes were the dominant class or phyla in terms of quantity and ***-positive bacteria(Actinobacteria and Firmicutes) accounted for 57.8% of all types *** were nine dominant genera,including Curtobacterium,Staphylococcus,and Halomonas,and 14 dominant species including Curtobacterium flaccumfaciens,Curtobacterium pusillum,and Staphylococcus *** the strains identified,87.2% were catalase positive or weakly positive.

Xanthomonas oryzae ***(Xoo)is a widespread pathogen causing bacterial leaf blight(BLB)disease,devastating rice productivity in many cultivated areas of Thailand.A specific and simple method for Xoo detection is required to improve surveillance of disease transmission and *** study developed a recombinase polymerase amplification(RPA)assay assisted with CRISPR-cas12a assay(RAC)for Xoo detection from bacterial cell suspension of infected rice samples without DNA *** efficiency of the RAC system for Xoo detection using either Xoo80 or Xoo4009 locus was optimized to amplify and determine the sensitivity and specificity using a Xoo DNA template from bacterial cell suspension of infected rice samples without DNA *** RAC system using the Xoo4009 locus gave a higher specificity than Xoo80 locus,because only Xoo species was amplified positive RPA product with fluorescence signal by cas12a digestion,which indicated no cross *** RAC using the Xoo4009 locus enabled diagnosis of Xoo presence from both plant extracted samples of Xoo artificially inoculated rice leaves within 3 d post-inoculation without symptomatic BLB appearance,and Xoo naturally infected *** exhibited that RAC using the Xoo4009 locus offered sensitivity,specificity and simplicity for Xoo detection,with low intensities of Xoo-DNA(1×10^(3) copies/μL)and Xoo-cell(2.5×10^(3) cfu/mL).This developed RAC system showed significantly potential for Xoo detection at point-of-care application for early signs of BLB disease outbreak in rice fields.

Aging Effects of Organic and Inorganic Fertilizers on Phosphorus Fractionation in a Calcareous Sandy Loam Soil

In most arid and semiarid soils, naturally occurring phosphorus(P) is a major yield-limiting plant nutrient. In this study, to investigate the effects of organic(OP) and inorganic P(IP) sources on P fractionation, a calcareous sandy loam alkaline soil was fertilized with OP and IP fertilizers at low(80 mg P kg^(-1) soil) and high(160 mg P kg^(-1) soil) application rates. Three combinations of OP and IP(i.e., 75% OP + 25% IP, 50% OP + 50% IP, and 25% OP + 75% IP) were applied at low and high application rates,respectively, followed by soil aging for 21 d. Soil samples were collected after 1, 2, 3, 7, and 21 d and subjected to sequential extraction to analyze soluble and exchangeable, Fe-and Al-bound, Ca-bound, and residual P fractions. The soluble and exchangeable P fraction significantly increased up to 24.3%, whereas the Ca-bound fraction decreased up to 40.7% in the soils receiving 75% OP + 25% IP and 50% OP + 50% IP, respectively, compared with the control(receiving no P fertilizer). However, the transformation of P fractions was influenced by aging time. Addition of P sources caused instant changes in different P fractions, which then tended to decline with aging time. Change in soil p H was the limiting factor in controlling P availability. At high application rate, the OP source significantly increased soil P availability compared with the IP source with soil aging. Depending on P fractionation, a proper combination of OP and IP fertilizers, as long-term slow and instant P-releasing sources for plant uptake, respectively, may be a sustainable strategy to meet crop P requirements in the arid and semiarid soils.
