Understanding the behavior of urban air pollution is important en route for sustainable urban development (SUD). Malaysia is on its mission to be a developed country by year 2020 comprehends dealing with air pollution is one of the indicators headed towards it. At present monitoring and managing air pollution in urban areas encompasses sophisticated air quality modeling and data acquisition. However, rapid developments in major cities cause difficulties in acquiring the city geometries. The existing method in acquiring city geometries data via ground or space measurement inspection such as field survey, photogrammetry, laser scanning, remote sensing or using architectural plans appears not to be practical because of its cost and efforts. Moreover, air monitoring stations deployed are intended for regional to global scale model whereby it is not accurate for urban areas with typical resolution of less than 2 km. Furthermore in urban areas, the pollutant dispersion movements are trapped between buildings initiating it to move vertically causing visualization complications which imply the limitations of existing visualization scheme that is based on two-dimensional (2D) framework. Therefore this paper aims is to perform groundwork assessment and discuss on the current scenario in Malaysia in the aspect of current policies towards SUD, air quality monitoring stations, scale model and detail discussion on air pollution dispersion model used called the Operational Street Pollution Model (OSPM). This research proposed the implementation of three-dimensional (3D) spatial city model as a new physical data input for OSPM. The five Level of Details (LOD) of 3D spatial city model shows the scale applicability for the dispersion model implementtation. Cyberattacks against highly integrated Internet of Things (IoT) servers, apps, and telecoms infrastructure are rapidly increasing when issues produced by IoT networks go unnoticed for an extended period. IoT interface attacks must be evaluated in real-time for effective safety and security measures. This study implements a smart intrusion detection system (IDS) designed for IoT threats, and interoperability with IoT connectivity standards is offered by the identity solution. An IDS is a common type of network security technology that has recently received increasing interest in the research community. The system has already piqued the curiosity of scientific and industrial communities to identify intrusions. Several IDSs based on machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) have been proposed. This study introduces IDS-SIoDL, a novel IDS for IoT-based smart cities that integrates long shortterm memory (LSTM) and feature engineering. This model is tested using tensor processing unit (TPU) on the enhanced BoT-IoT, Edge-IIoT, and NSL-KDD datasets. Compared with current IDSs, the obtained results provide good assessment features, such as accuracy, recall, and precision, with approximately 0.9990 recording time and calculating times of approximately 600 and 6 ms for training and classification, respectively.

We theoretically investigate coherent scattering of single photons and quantum entanglement of two giant atoms with azimuthal angle differences in a waveguide *** the real-space Hamiltonian,analytical expressions are derived for the transport spectra scattered by these two giant atoms with four azimuthal ***-like resonance can be exhibited in the scattering spectra by adjusting the azimuthal angle *** concurrence of the entangled state for two atoms can be implemented in a wide angle-difference range,and the entanglement of the atomic states can be switched on/off by modulating the additional azimuthal angle differences from the giant *** suggests a novel handle to effectively control the single-photon scattering and quantum entanglement.

The efficiency of businesses is often hindered by the challenges encountered in traditional Supply Chain Manage-ment(SCM),which is characterized by elevated risks due to inadequate accountability and *** address these challenges and improve operations in green manufacturing,optimization algorithms play a crucial role in supporting decision-making *** this study,we propose a solution to the green lot size optimization issue by leveraging bio-inspired algorithms,notably the Stork Optimization Algorithm(SOA).The SOA draws inspiration from the hunting and winter migration strategies employed by storks in *** theoretical framework of SOA is elaborated and mathematically modeled through two distinct phases:exploration,based on migration simulation,and exploitation,based on hunting strategy *** tackle the green lot size optimization issue,our methodology involved gathering real-world data,which was then transformed into a simplified function with multiple constraints aimed at optimizing total costs and minimizing CO_(2) *** function served as input for the SOA ***,the SOA model was applied to identify the optimal lot size that strikes a balance between cost-effectiveness and *** extensive experimentation,we compared the performance of SOA with twelve established metaheuristic algorithms,consistently demonstrating that SOA outperformed the *** study’s contribution lies in providing an effective solution to the sustainable lot-size optimization dilemma,thereby reducing environmental impact and enhancing supply chain *** simulation findings underscore that SOA consistently achieves superior outcomes compared to existing optimization methodologies,making it a promising approach for green manufacturing and sustainable supply chain management.

Tandem duplication(TD)is a major type of structural variations(SVs)that plays an important role in novel gene formation and human ***,TDs are often missed or incorrectly classified as insertions by most modern SV detection methods due to the lack of specialized operation on TD-related mutational ***,we developed a TD detection module for the Pindel tool,referred to as Pindel-TD,based on a TD-specific pattern growth ***-TD is capable of detecting TDs with a wide size range at single nucleotide *** simulated and real read data from HG002,we demonstrated that Pindel-TD outperforms other leading methods in terms of precision,recall,F1-score,and ***,by applying Pindel-TD to data generated from the K562 cancer cell line,we identified a TD located at the seventh exon of SAGE1,providing an explanation for its high ***-TD is available for non-commercial use at https://***/xjtu-omics/pindel.

We propose a frequency-tunable router of single photons with high routing efficiency, which is constructed by two waveguides mediately linked by a single-mode whispering gallery resonator with a driven three-level emitter. Quantum routing probability in the output port is obtained via the real-space Hamiltonian. By adjusting the resonator–emitter coupling and the drive, the desired continuous central frequencies for the resonance peaks of routing photons can be manipulated nearly linearly, with the assistance of Rabi splitting effect and optical Stark shift. The proposed routing system may provide potential applications in designing other frequency-modulation quantum optical devices, such as multiplexers,filters, and so on.

In this editorial,we discuss the article in the World Journal of *** article conducts a meta-analysis of the diagnostic accuracy of the urea breath test(UBT),a non-invasive method for detecting Helicobacter pylori(***)infection in *** is based on radionuclide-labeled *** methods,both invasive and non-invasive,are available for diagnosing *** infection,inclu-ding endoscopy with biopsy,serology for immunoglobulin titers,stool antigen analysis,and *** guidelines recommend UBTs as the primary choice for diagnosing *** infection and for reexamining after eradication *** is used to be the first choice non-invasive test due to their high accuracy,specificity,rapid results,and ***,its performance remains unaffected by the distribution of *** in the stomach,allowing a high flow of patients to be *** its widespread use,the performance characteristics of UBT have been inconsistently described and remain incompletely *** are two UBTs available with Food and Drug Administration approval:The 13C and 14C *** tests are affordable and can provide real-time *** may prefer the 13C test because it is non-radioactive,compared to 14C which uses a radioactive isotope,especially in young children and pregnant *** there was heterogeneity among the studies regarding the diagnostic accuracy of both UBTs,13C-UBT consistently outperforms the *** makes the 13C-UBT the preferred diagnostic ***,the provided findings of the meta-analysis emphasize the significance of precise considerations when choosing urea dosage,assessment timing,and measurement techniques for both the 13C-UBT and 14C-UBT,to enhance diagnostic precision.
