In recent years, the increasing penetration level of renewable generation and combined heat and power(CHP) technology in power systems is leading to significant changes in energy production and consumption patterns. As a result, the integrated planning and optimal operation of a multi-carrier energy(MCE) system have aroused widespread concern for reasonable utilization of multiple energy resources and efficient accommodation of renewable energy sources. In this context, an integrated demand response(IDR) scheme is designed to coordinate the operation of power to gas(P2 G) devices, heat pumps,diversified storage devices and flexible loads within an extended modeling framework of energy hubs. Subsequently, the optimal dispatch of interconnected electricity,natural gas and heat systems is implemented considering the interactions among multiple energy carriers by utilizing the bi-level optimization method. Finally, the proposed method is demonstrated with a 4-bus multi-energy systemand a larger test case comprised of a revised IEEE 118-bus power system and a 20-bus Belgian natural gas system.

A lossy high-impedance surface comprised of two layers of resistive frequency selective surfaces is employed to design a tunable electromagnetic absorber. The tunability is realized through changing the composite unit cell by moving the top layer mechanically. To explain the absorbing mechanism, an equivalent circuit model with an interacting coefficient is proposed. Then, simulations and measurements are carried out and agree well with each other. Results show that the complex structure with a thickness less than λ0/4 is able to achieve a wideband absorption in a frequency range from5.90 GHz to 19.73 GHz. Moreover, it is tunable in the operation frequency band.

Advances in natural gas-fired technologies have deepened the coupling between electricity and gas networks,promoting the development of the integrated electricity-gas network(IEGN)and strengthening the interaction between the active-reactive power flow in the power distribution network(PDN)and the natural gas flow in the gas distribution network(GDN).This paper proposes a day-ahead active-reactive power scheduling model for the IEGN with multi-microgrids(MMGs)to minimize the total operating *** the tight coupling relationship between the subsystems of the IEGN,the potentialities of the IEGN with MMGs toward multi-energy cooperative interaction is *** component models are elaborated in the PDN,GDN,and coupled ***,motivated by the non-negligible impact of the reactive power,optimal inverter dispatch(OID)is considered to optimize the active and reactive power capabilities of the inverters of distributed ***,a second-order cone(SOC)relaxation technology is utilized to transform the proposed active-reactive power scheduling model into a convex optimization problem that the commercial solver can directly solve.A test system consisting of an IEEE-33 test system and a 7-node natural gas network is adopted to verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheduling *** results show that the proposed scheduling method can effectively reduce the power losses of the PDN in the IEGN by 9.86%,increase the flexibility of the joint operation of the subsystems of the IEGN,reduce the total operation costs by $32.20,and effectively enhance the operation economy of the IEGN.

The cyclic oxidation behavior of Hf/Y-doped B2 FeAl intermetallics at 1373 K was *** an undoped FeAl alloy,premature spallation of the alumina film occurs due to the formation of numerous voids at the film/alloy interface and apparent shrinkage in the *** contrast to this,doping with either Hf or Y significantly improves the interfacial adhesion between the alumina film and the alloy substrate,particularly with *** observation in combination with Anger electron spectroscopic analysis suggests that in addition to prohibiting interfacial void formation and alleviating film shrinkage,the addition of Hf in the FeAl alloy could consolidate the film/alloy interface by directly participating in chemical bonding across the interface as a Hf *** causes the spallation of alumina film from the equiaxed grains/columnar grains interface rather than the bottom of the film.

Ignoring load characteristics and not considering user feeling with regard to the optimal operation of Energy Internet（EI） results in a large error in optimization. Thus, results are not consistent with the actual operating conditions. To solve these problems, this paper proposes an optimization method based on user electricity Anxiety（EA） and Chaotic Space Variation Particle Swarm Optimization（CSVPSO）. First, the load is divided into critical load, translation load, shiftable load, and temperature load. Then, on the basis of the different load characteristics,the concept of the user EA degree is presented, and the optimization model of the EI is provided. This paper also presents a CSVPSO algorithm to solve the optimization problem because the traditional particle swarm optimization algorithm takes a long time and particles easily fall into the local optimum. In CSVPSO, the particles with lower fitness value are operated by using cross operation, and velocity variation is performed for particles with a speed lower than the setting threshold. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by simulation *** results show that the proposed method can be used to optimize the operation of EI on the basis of the full consideration of the load characteristics. Moreover, the optimization algorithm has high accuracy and computational efficiency.

power producers'profits are determined by the market price in the electricity market and therefore they will adopt certain strategies in market transactions to achieve higher *** an electricity spot market that adopts uniform pricing,power producers with considerable generation capacity are able to exercise their market power,given that the market concentration is relatively high at the beginning of market *** has been proved that an effective bidding strategy can increase the market clearing prices,so as to increase the profits of the power ***,the introduction of long-term transactions may mitigate the impact of producers'market power,as a great amount of long-term volume is settled at the long-term contract price,which is determined in advance and is less fluctuating than the spot *** forms of long-term transactions,the fixed volume contract and the varied volume contract,are studied in this *** studies are conducted on a multi-agent platform,where both the long-term and spot transactions of power producers are included,and the total profits of a power producer with or without long-term transactions are analyzed to demonstrate their ***,the results clearly show that long-term transactions can effectively prevent power producers from exercising market power.

Density Functional Study of the C Atom Adsorption on the α-Fe_2O_3 (001) Surface

The adsorption of C atoms on the α-Fe2O3（001） surface was studied based on density function theory（DFT） ,in which the exchange-correlation potential was chosen as the PBE（Perdew,Burke and Ernzerhof） generalized gradient approximation（GGA） with a plane wave basis set. Upon the optimization on different adsorption sites with coverage of 1/20 and 1/5 ML,it was found that the adsorption of C atoms on the α-Fe2O3（001） surface was chemical adsorption. The coverage can affect the adsorption behavior greatly. Under low coverage,the most stable adsorption geometry lied on the bridged site with the adsorption energy of about 3.22 eV; however,under high coverage,it located at the top site with the energy change of 8.79 eV. Strong chemical reaction has occurred between the C and O atoms at this site. The density of states and population analysis showed that the s,p orbitals of C and p orbital of O give the most contribution to the adsorption bonding. During the adsorption process,O atom shares the electrons with C,and C can only affect the outermost and subsurface layers of α-Fe2O3; the third layer can not be affected obviously.

Lunar dust is considered to be one of the top challenges for enabling humans to have extended stays on the *** activities such as module landings and launches,walking,rover operation and construction activities will inevitably produce a significant amount of ***,it is important to estimate the potential range and intensity of dust deposition caused by these activities to minimize dust accumulation over time and for maintenance planning and execution.A modular model that correlates the dust deposition distribution with initial mean dust particle velocity,its mean ejected angle and the total amount of ejected mass is developed for an elementary mechanical *** modular model is further employed to form a modeling framework to estimate dust deposition of a trajectory based activity of similar repeated movements such as the landing process of a lander,walking and rover *** model forms a unified modeling framework for different trajectory-based activities and is shown to predict consistent and physically meaningful ranges and intensities of dust deposition provided reliable data to calibrate the model parameters.

A novel fully differential telescopic operational transconductance amplifier （OTA） is proposed. An additional PMOS differential pair is introduced to improve the unit-gain bandwidth of the telescopic amplifier. At the same time, the slew rate is enhanced by the auxiliary slew rate boost circuits. The proposed OTA is designed in a 0.18 μm CMOS process. Simulation results show that there is a 49% improvement in the unit-gain bandwidth compared to that of a conventional OTA; moreover, the DC gain and the slew rate are also enhanced.
