In this study,we have proposed an artificial neural network(ANN)model to estimate and forecast the number of confirmed and recovered cases of COVID-19 in the upcoming days until September 17,*** proposed model is based on the existing data(training data)published in the Saudi Arabia Coronavirus disease(COVID-19)situation—*** Prey-Predator algorithm is employed for the *** perceptron neural network(MLPNN)is used in this *** improve the performance of MLPNN,we determined the parameters of MLPNN using the prey-predator algorithm(PPA).The proposed model is called the MLPNN–*** performance of the proposed model has been analyzed by the root mean squared error(RMSE)function,and correlation coefficient(R).Furthermore,we tested the proposed model using other existing data recorded in Saudi Arabia(testing data).It is demonstrated that the MLPNN-PPA model has the highest performance in predicting the number of infected and recovering in Saudi *** results reveal that the number of infected persons will increase in the coming days and become a minimum of *** number of recoveries will be 2000 to 4000 per day.

European policies to foster knowledge： The case of the European Social Fund-an introductory study

In recent years the European Union （EU） has struggled to become the leading force in the Knowledge Based Economy （KBE）. For that purpose, the EU defined the so-called ＂Lisbon Strategy＂. Additionally, since the sixties the EU （formerly European Communities （ECs）） invested in human resources and in knowledge using the European Social Fund （ESF）. This research tries to assess analyse critically those ECs＇ and EUs＇ investments in knowledge in the light of the economic analysis of the knowledge market. It concludes that there is evidence that the ESF has been an important provider of knowledge in Europe, contributing to the increase of knowledge levels. However, it could be concluded that the economic consequences of that effort were not assessed properly; therefore, it is not clear what the effects of the investment were. The few studies I found that may base the sort of analysis I want to make point to small, if existing effects of the ESF were small. This in itself is an interesting finding that deserves careful consideration.

A Trusted Attestation Mechanism for the Sensing Nodes of Internet of Things Based on Dynamic Trusted Measurement

Internet of things has been widely applied to industrial control, smart city and environmental protection, in these applica- tion scenarios, sensing node needs to make real-time response to the feedback control of the application layer. Therefore, it is nec- essary to monitor whether or not awareness nodes are trusted in real time, but the existing mechanisms for trusted certification lack the real-time measurement and tracking of the sensing node. To solve the above problems, this paper proposes a dynamic metric based authentication mechanism for sensing nodes of Internet of things. Firstly, the dynamic trustworthiness measure of the sensing nodes is carried out by introducing the computational function such as the trust function, the trust- worthiness risk assessment function, the feed- back control function and the active function of the sensing node. The dynamic trustworthi- ness measure of sensing nodes from multiple dimensions can effectively describe the change of trusted value of sensing nodes. Then, on the basis of this, a trusted attestation based on node trusted measure is realized by using the revocable group signature mechanism of local verifier. The mechanism has anonymity, un- forgeability and traceability, which is proved the security in the standard model. Simulationexperiments show that the proposed trusted attestation mechanism is flexible, practical and ef｜Scient and has better attack resistance. It can effectively guarantee the reliable data transmission of nodes and realize the dynamic tracking of node reliability, which has a lower impact on system performance.

The Use of High-Performance Fatigue Mechanics and the Extended Kalman/Particle Filters,for Diagnostics and Prognostics of Aircraft Structures

In this paper,we propose an approach for diagnostics and prognostics of damaged aircraft structures,by combing high-performance fatigue mechanics with filtering ***&accurate deterministic analyses of fatigue crack propagations are carried out,by using the Finite Element Alternating Method(FEAM)for computing SIFs,and by using the newly developed Moving Least Squares(MLS)law for computing fatigue crack growth *** algorithms for simulating fatigue crack propagations are embedded in the computer program Safe-Flaw,which is called upon as a subroutine within the probabilistic framework of filter *** the extended Kalman as well as particle filters are applied in this study,to obtain the statistically optimal and semi-optimal estimates of crack lengths,from a series of noisy measurements of crack-lengths over *** the specific problem,a simple modification to the particle filter,which can drastically reduce the computational burden,is also *** on the results of such diagnostic analyses,the prognostics of aerospace structures are thereafter achieved,to estimate the probabilistic distribution of the remaining useful *** using a simple example of a single-crack near a fastener hole,we demonstrate the concept and effectiveness of the proposed *** paper thus forms the scientific foundation for the recently proposed concepts of VRAMS(Virtual Risk-Informed Agile Maneuver Sustainment)and Digital Twins of aerospace vehicles.

Location of Disaster Management Bases Using Spatial Analysis

Investigation of the redox performance of pyrite cinder calcined at different temperature in chemical looping combustion

As an industrial solid waste,pyrite cinder exhibited excellent reactivity and cycle stability in chemical looping *** to the experiment,oxygen carriers often experienced a high temperature calcination process to stabilize the physico-chemical properties,which presented significant influence on the redox performance of oxygen ***,the effect of calcination temperature on the cyclic reaction performance of pyrite cinder has not been studied in *** this work,the effect of calcination temperature on the redox activity and attrition characteristic of pyrite cinder were studied in a fluidizedbed reactor using CH_(4) as fuel.A series of pyrite cinder samples were prepared by controlling the calcination *** redox activity and attrition rate of the obtained pyrite cinder samples were investigated *** results showed that calcination temperature displayed significant impact on the redox performance of pyrite *** CH_(4) conversion(80%–85%)and attrition resistance,the pyrite cinder calcined at 1050℃ presented excellent redox *** the whole experiment process,the CO_(2) selectivity of the pyrite cinder samples were not affected by the calcination temperature and were still close to 100%.The results can provide reference for optimizing the calcination temperature of pyrite cinder during chemical looping process.

The exploitation of multifunctional nanocomposites is highly desired in environmental monitoring,biosensors,and medical *** this paper,a simple approach has been proposed to fabricate MoS2 decorated N-doped carbon nanotubes(NCNTs@MoS2)hybrid composites as efficient peroxidase-like *** combination of the MoS2 and N-doped carbon nanotubes(NCNTs)brings about an enhanced synergistic effect,leading to remarkably decent intrinsic peroxidase-mimic activities than that of the single *** to the high catalytic efficiency of the resultant NCNTs@MoS2 hybrid nanotubes as peroxidase-like mimics,a co nvenient colorimetric approach for the sensitive determination of H2 O2 and ascorbic acid have been developed with a detection limit of about 0.14μmol/L and 0.12μmol/L,*** work offers a new strategy for the fabrication of peroxidase-like nanomaterials with excellent catalytic activity,which indicates great promising applications in sensitive detections in real samples.

Numerical Assessment of Nanofluid Natural Convection Using Local RBF Method Coupled with an Artificial Compressibility Model

In this paper,natural heat convection inside square and equilateral triangular cavities was studied using a meshless method based on collocation local radial basis function(RBF).The nanofluids used were Cu-water or Al_(2)O_(3)-water mixture with nanoparticle volume fractions range of 0≤φ≤0.2.A system of continuity,momentum,and energy partial differential equations was used in modeling the flow and temperature behavior of the *** derivatives in the governing equations were approximated using the RBF *** artificial compressibility model was implemented to overcome the pressure velocity coupling problem that occurs in such *** goal of this work was to present a simple and efficient method to deal with complex geometries for a variety of problem *** assess the accuracy of the proposed method,several test cases of natural convection in square and triangular cavities were *** Rayleigh numbers ranging from 103 to 105,a validation test of natural convection of Cu-water in a square cavity was *** numerical investigation was then extended to Rayleigh number 106,as well as Al_(2)O_(3)-water nanofluid with a volume fraction range of 0≤φ≤*** a second investigation,the same nanofluids were used in a triangular cavitywith varying volume fractions to test the proposed meshless approach on non-rectangular *** numerical results appear to be in agreement with those from earlier ***,the suggested meshless method was found to be stable and accurate,demonstrating that it may be a viable alternative for solving natural heat transfer equations of nanofluids in enclosures with irregular geometries.

Carbon monoxide(CO)is a vital intracellular gas messenger known for its cytoprotective and homeostatic *** plays a pivotal role in a myriad of biological ***,the precise detection of CO is of paramount importance in unraveling the intricacies of pathological mechanisms and advancing the development of disease *** herein introduce NFCOP,a state-of-the-art near-infrared(NIR)turn-on fluorescence(FL)probe that has been meticulously designed for highly sensitive,swift and selective imaging of *** NFCOP response occurred rapidly with CO,within just 10 s,and the calculated detection limit for CO was determined to be 0.32μmol/*** investigations conducted at the cellular level and in vivo demonstrated that NFCOP possesses high sensitivity and selectivity for imaging CO.
