The reaction of α-H3[PW12O40] with Y（NO3）3 in the presence of DMF or DMSO leads to two complexes with the formulae {Y（DMSO）7}·PW12O40（1） and {[Y（DMF）7]2PW12O40}·PW12O40（2）. The crystal structures indicate that complex 1 consists of discrete [YLn]3＋ cations and α-Keggin heteropolyanions [PW12O40]3-, whereas, in complex 2, donor-acceptor interaction results in a cation-anion-cation triplet. In addition, the electrochemical behavior of the two complexes indicates the usual successive reduction processes of the W atoms in the anions.

Outcome of patients with traumatic cranial nerve palsy admitted to a university hospital in Nepal

Background Cranial nerve palsy (CNP) is a common complication of traumatic brain injury (TBI). Despite a high incidence of TBI in Nepal (382 per 100,000), literature on the specific management and outcome of CNP is lacking. This study aimed to examine the outcomes of TBI patients involving single versus multiple *** A retrospective chart review of 170 consecutive TBI patients admitted to the tertiary neurosurgical center in Nepal between April 2020 and April 2022 was conducted. Demographic, clinical, and etiological characteristics; imaging findings; and management strategies were recorded, compared, and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The Glasgow Outcome Scale Extended (GOSE) was used to measure the outcomes in two groups of patients (single and multiple CNP) at 3 *** Out of 250 eligible patients, 80 were excluded and CNP was noted in 29 (17.1%) of the remaining 170. The median age was 34.9 years, and falls (60.6%) were the most common cause of trauma. TBI severity was categorized based on GCS: mild (82.4%), moderate (15.9%), and severe (1.8%). Cranial nerve involvement was seen in 29 (17.05%) patients: single cranial nerve involvement in 26 (89.65%) and multiple nerve involvement in 3 (10.34%). The most common isolated cranial nerve involved was the oculomotor nerve (37.9%). CT findings revealed a maximum of skull fractures with no significant association between CNP and CT *** CNP is a common consequence of TBI with the most common etiology being falls followed by RTA. Single CNP was more common than multiple CNP with no significant difference in the outcome in the 3-month GOSE score. Further research is needed to determine the burden of traumatic CNP and establish specific management guidelines for different types of CNP.

Infectious Complications after Cesarean Delivery: Trends of Incidences, Risk Factors, and Prognosis in a Third Health Level center in Africa. Case of Gabriel Touréteaching Hospital

Post cesarean infections are the main sources of fever in the postpartum. We have undertaken this study in an African health setting where conditions of working are different from those in developed countries. Objectives: The objectives of this survey were to appreciate incidences, risk factors and prognosis of post cesarean infections. Method: We conducted a randomized historical cohort study in the department of gynecology and obstetrics of Gabriel Touré teaching hospital from 2010 to 2015. Data have been analyzed using X2 or Fisher test according their application conditions, p value Results: From 2010 to 2015 we performed 15,963 deliveries within 5263 cesareans sections (32.97%). According to all the deliveries, the global frequency of infection fluctuates from 1.5% in 2010 to 2.1% in 2015. The main risks that influenced the occurrence of post cesarean infections were: the context of cesarean section (RR = 2.05;CI95% (1.35 - 3.11);p 0.01), the prolonged labor (RR = 1.38;CI95% (1.05 - 1.81);p 0.01), the length of cesarean (RR = 3.00;CI95% (1.89 - 4.90);p 0.01), and genital bleeding (RR = 1.50;CI95% (1.10 - 1.90);p 0.01). The complications reported were endometritis (43.55%), wound infection (18.11%), breast infection (32.05%), puerperal psychosis (9 cases). We recorded six cases of pelviperitonitis and three cases of sepsis. Four cases of maternal death due to septic shock have been recorded (1.43%). Conclusion: Post cesarean infections constitute a real problem of public health in developing countries. In our survey, the main factors of infections have been context of cesarean, prolonged labor and length of cesarean. Endometritis, breast infection and wound infection are the major complications after cesarean section. The respect of protocol of the management of patients should permit to prevent this deadly complication.

Blended teaching is one of the essential teaching methods with the development of information *** a learning effect evaluation model is helpful to improve students’academic performance and helps teachers to better implement course ***,a lack of evaluation models for the fusion of temporal and non-temporal behavioral data leads to an unsatisfactory evaluation *** meet the demand for predicting students’academic performance through learning behavior data,this study proposes a learning effect evaluation method that integrates expert perspective indicators to predict academic performance by constructing a dual-stream network that combines temporal behavior data and non-temporal behavior data in the learning *** this paper,firstly,the Delphi method is used to analyze and process the course learning behavior data of students and establish an effective evaluation index system of learning behavior with universality;secondly,the Mann-Whitney U-test and the complex correlation analysis are used to analyze further and validate the evaluation indexes;and lastly,a dual-stream information fusion model,which combines temporal and non-temporal features,is *** learning effect evaluation model is built,and the results of the mean absolute error(MAE)and root mean square error(RMSE)indexes are 4.16 and 5.29,*** study indicates that combining expert perspectives for evaluation index selection and further fusing temporal and non-temporal behavioral features that for learning effect evaluation and prediction is rationality,accuracy,and effectiveness,which provides a powerful help for the practical application of learning effect evaluation and prediction.

Background:As the population continues to age and the number of people suffering from incurable diseases,such as malignant tumors and Alzheimer’s disease,increases,the need for quality end-of-life care is becoming more and more *** students,as a reserved talent in the nursing field,have an attitude towards palliative care that will directly affect the quality of care for future terminal ***:This descriptive and cross-sectional survey was conducted from November 2020 to January 2021.A stratified sampling method randomly selected 1168 undergraduate and postgraduate nursing students as ***’attitudes were measured using a revised palliative care attitude ***:The palliative care attitude score was 7.233±1.812 with a score of 72.3%and a median score of 7.50 with a range of 0-10.63.10%of the nursing students had an attitude score of 7 or more and only 2.40%of the nursing students had a negative attitude towards palliative *** results showed that gender,grade level,health status,and attitudes toward the nursing profession affected nursing students’attitudes toward palliative care(Pteaching methods to stimulate the interest of nursing students to learn and improve their willingness to palliative care services.

Prevalence of microscopic colitis in patients with diarrhea of unknown etiology in Turkey

AIM: To investigate the prevalence and demography of microscopic colitis in patients with diarrhea of unknown etiology and normal colonoscopy in Turkey. METHODS: Between March, 1998 to July, 2005, 129 patients with chronic non-bloody diarrhea of unexplained etiology who had undergone full colonoscopy with no obvious abnormalities were included in the study. Two biopsies were obtained from all colonic segments and terminal ileum for diagnosis of microscopic colitis. On histopathologic examination, criteria for lymphocytic colitis (intraepithelial lymphocyte ≥ 20 per 100 intercryptal epithelial cells, change in surface epithelium, mononuclear infiltration of the lamina propria) and collagenous colitis (subepithelial collagen band thickness ≥ 10 μm) were explored. RESULTS: Lymphocytic colitis was diagnosed in 12 (9%) patients (Female/Male: 7/5, mean age: 45 year, range: 27-63) and collagenous colitis was diagnosed in only 3 (2.5%) patients (all female, mean age: 60 years, range: 54-65).CONCLUSION: Biopsy of Turkish patients with the diagnosis of chronic non-bloody diarrhea of unexplained etiology and normal colonoscopic findings will reveal microscopic colitis in approximately 10% of the patients. Lymphocytic colitis is 4 times more frequent than collagenous colitis in these patients.

The capitalization of land resources in rural areas is good for the transforming of agricultural management method,carrying out the process of urbanization,alleviating lack of funds for construction in rural areas and further guarantee farmers’***,in the process of capitalization of land resources in rural areas in China,problems such as ambiguity of land property right,inaccuracy of the appraisal of the investment in land,imperfectness of the related supporting system and non-fluency of land resources circulation in rural areas and so on still exist,which need the support from governments of all levels to actively explore and survey,taking such actions as carrying out land registration,establishing a scientific and normative price appraisal system for land resources,improving the system of registration as a legal person,increasing subsidies,improving taxation reducing policy,forming the diversified rural financial system,setting up and improving the land resources circulation market in rural areas and so on.

Research and Exploration of Ideological and Political Education in the Course of Pathophysiology

Course based ideological and political education (CIPE) is an important way to improve the quality of ideological and political work and talent cultivation. This study explores for the first time the implementation of ideological and political education in the teaching of pathophysiology courses, and also analyzes the evaluation of student psychological status and the importance of mental health education in the implementation of IPE courses. A survey was conducted on 211 students at Yangtze University to understand their motivation and behavior towards learning ideological, political, and pathophysiological courses. In addition, a questionnaire survey was used to explore the relationship between pathophysiology and ideological and political courses, as well as the importance of their satisfaction with the implementation of ideological and political courses in pathophysiology and mental health education. The research results indicate that factors such as educational background and gender differences affect the learning of CIPE. Graduate students are more interested in ideological and political courses, while female students find it difficult to study pathophysiology;In addition, the results of one-way ANOVA indicate that the implementation effect of IPE in pathophysiology courses depends on the level of interest in IPE and pathophysiology courses, the level of consideration for the importance of professional courses, the professional gains after studying pathophysiology, and the level of understanding of the relationship between IPE and CIPE. 81.04% of students believe that in the CIPE process, telling stories by teachers themselves is the most popular way of communication and education. This reflects the importance of mental health education from the perspective of CIPE. In addition, this study also indicates that PBL and flipped classroom teaching models are popular teaching models in CIPE. This study is beneficial for promoting the improvement and implementation

AIM:The eradication rate of Helicobacter pylori (H pylori) shows variation among countries and regimens of treatment. We aimed to study the eradication rates of different regimens in our region and some factors affecting the rate of eradication. METHODS:One hundred and sixty-four H pylori positive patients (68 males,96 females;mean age:48±12 years) with duodenal or gastric ulcer without a smoking history were included in the *** patients were divided into three groups according to the treatment *** 20mg,clarithromycin 500mg,amoxicillin 1g were given twice daily for 1 week (Group Ⅰ) and 2 weeks (Group Ⅱ). Patients in Group Ⅲ received bismuth subsitrate 300mg, tetracyline 500mg and metronidazole 500mg four times daily in addition to Omeprazole 20mg twice *** biopsies each before and after treatment were obtained from antrum and corpus,and histopathologically evaluated. Eradication was assumed to be successful if no H pylorus was detected from four biopsy specimens taken after *** effects of factors like age,sex,H pylori density on antrum and corpus before treatment,the total H pylori density,and the inflammation scores on the rate of H pylori eradication were evaluated. RESULTS:The overall eradication rate was 42%.The rates in groups Ⅱ and Ⅲ were statistically higher than that in group Ⅰ (P<0.05).The rates of eradication were 24.5%, 40.7% and 61.5% in groups Ⅰ,Ⅱ and Ⅲ,*** eradication rate was negatively related to either corpus H pylori density or total H pylori density (P<0.05).The median age was older in the group in which the eradication failed in comparison to that with successful eradication (55 yr vs 39 yr,P<0.001).No correlation between sex and H pylori eradication was found. CONCLUSION:Our rates of eradication were significantly lower when compared to those reported in *** believe that advanced age and high H pylori density are negative predictive factors for the rate of H pylori eradication.
